Most recommended anime for anyone that wants to cry. That simple. This story is simply beautiful, yet heart-wrenching. The music is lovely and very easy to listen to. I adore the animation and the arts style; simply gorgeous. I cannot say enough about this amazing series. Please go watch it.

Prodigy of an Anime

I believe this anime is amazing! It visual art is fantastic and it tries its best not to go overboard. The music is outstanding well given the anime revolves around music its still outstanding!!

The Good
The music is godly as well as the visuals! BUT OVERALL THE PLOT is the best piece of the Anime and its near perfect!

The Bad
While I love this anime so much I do have to point out that I personally wish there where more concerts that Kaori and Kousei should play in. So it would deepen their relationship even further plus it would add to the feels when watching this anime!!! OVERALL this anime is near-perfect and I believe that even though the good section is fewer words than this section. I BLOODY LOVE THIS ANIME!!!!!

Beautiful Emotion through Music

Your Lie in April is an amazing anime! I was captivated immediately after hearing the opening theme song. The music stays incredible throughout the entire 22 episodes and the story is incredible and will move you to tears. Seriously....by the end, I was bawling.
I feel like some of the supporting characters should have had slightly larger roles. Mainly Takeshi and Emi. Takeshi is Kousei's ""rival"" so he should've had a bit more influence on Kousei. Emi.....her character wasn't fully explained to me. At one point you seem to get the idea that she likes Kousei but then nothing ever really gets said about it again.
Overall, I highly recommend this anime. Just be sure to have a box of Kleenex handy!

The Good
The music is phenomenal!!!
The story is phenomenal!!!

The Bad
I felt like some of the supporting characters could have had a bit larger role in the story.

Something worth Watching and Waiting for

The anime was nearly perfect. Watching it would be worth it. I would really recommend this to everyone who's new to anime and have been watching animes for a long time. Dramas may not fit your genres but try watching this one and it would really turn your world upside down.

The Good
1.) Characters were Brilliant in their roles.
2.) Plot was absolutely there.
3.) Music were fabulous.
4.) It was near to perfection.

The Bad
I guess what I found a little down part of this anime was that the ending was quite predictable.

Near Perfect

When I first found this anime, I considered it very similar to the visual novel, Symphonic Rain. The MC has a tragic backstory and goes through life as a very depressing individual. The MC grows as the story progresses, both as a character and through his talent. If you like a good slow paced music/romance anime, this is for you. Also, if you like this, you should go read Symphonic Rain as well.

The Good
1) Amazing music
2) Good characters
3) The ending

The Bad
1) Pacing could have been a bit better
