Tokyo has become a cruel and merciless city—a place where vicious creatures called “ghouls” exist alongside humans. The citizens of this once great metropolis live in constant fear of these bloodthirsty savages and their thirst for human flesh. However, the greatest threat these ghouls pose is their dangerous ability to masquerade as humans and blend in with society.

Based on the best-selling supernatural horror manga by Sui Ishida, Tokyo Ghoul follows Ken Kaneki, a shy, bookish college student, who is instantly drawn to Rize Kamishiro, an avid reader like himself. However, Rize is not exactly who she seems, and this unfortunate meeting pushes Kaneki into the dark depths of the ghouls' inhuman world. In a twist of fate, Kaneki is saved by the enigmatic waitress Touka Kirishima, and thus begins his new, secret life as a half-ghoul/half-human who must find a way to integrate into both societies.

So I just finished reading Uzumaki by Junji Ito.
I gotta say I will not be looking at Spirals the same anymore.
But one thing I couldn't help but think Shuichi was like from the very first chapter says let's leave this town. KIrie kept avoided the question and by chapter 18 if I remember correctly she says we need to find a way out. well, what do we have here?
I never knew you could make spirals into something horrifying. But Junji Ito made it into something horrifying.
Another thing that I am thinking is so the town was basically a ghost town that rebuilds over years and new people come into finding the town but can't leave but make do with what they have.
I felt so bad for Shuichi, he wanted to leave but did he know that they couldn't leave the town? I take it probably not. But the time in town vs the outskirts of the town time is way different. I have a lot to say but I I will end on this note, I will be talking about more tomorrow at my manga club on instagram tomorrow.
But I just wanted to dump some of my thoughts on this series here. If you have anything else to add please add it and we can keep the conversation going.

Shuichi is such a good boy and I love him and Kirire together!T-T

Season 2 has been over for a couple of weeks and I am heartbroken. This series really spoke to me on an emotional level and has quickly become one of my favorites. I'm hoping it gets comfirmed for a third season.
Feel free to leave your thoughts on the anime below. I've been itching to discuss it with someone.

I’m trying to find a anime show my buddy was watching in 2013. I can’t find it anywhere as I don’t know the name. I’ve googled shows etc and no luck. The show was about upper class men and under class men. It was mainly a female cast from I recall with male characters as well. The scene I remember is upper class men picking on an underclass men in a fight scene. It looked as if they were in a school basement arena of some sort. The upperclassmen were fighting one underclassmen and calling her by that name. In the scene her clothes were torn off from an attack a bit and when she was huddled down she unlocked some secret potential she had and became a great fighter I think. They were all shocked and it looked like a good anime with the fight scene and what not. Take in mind I saw this in 2013 on his laptop and he had it downloaded to his hard drive so I can’t tell you how old it really is but if anyone can spout out titles or guesses at what they think it may be it will be greatly appreciated. Also this anime was dubbed so if that helps at all.

Hello everyone my name is Julian Barragan but y'all can call me Jubacard here lol.
I'm a proffessional filmmaker from Colombia that for some reason decided to start writting a manga lol.
I'm familiar with the rules of story structure and I add my flare to it, but this is for sure my first attempt at a shonen format.

The lore of the story Centers Around The Morai Agency. They have the job of fixing time anomalies throughout space and time. Matsuko is our rebel member of Morai, and ise, our protagonist is a first semester college student who doesn't know what to do with his life, they meet and go on crazy space and time adventures.

It's done in a screenwritting format but with some liberties taken.
Every type of comment of suggestion is recieved! thank you! I wanna write as much as possible.  If any of you want to draw any of the situations or characters, I'd love to see what this story can inspire. Hey, maybe a collab with someone?
