Death City is home to the famous Death Weapon Meister Academy, a technical academy headed by the Shinigami—Lord Death himself. Its mission: to raise "Death Scythes" for the Shinigami to wield against the many evils of their fantastical world. These Death Scythes, however, are not made from physical weapons; rather, they are born from human hybrids who have the ability to transform their bodies into Demon Weapons, and only after they have consumed the souls of 99 evil beings and one witch's soul.

Soul Eater Evans, a Demon Scythe who only seems to care about what's cool, aims to become a Death Scythe with the help of his straight-laced wielder, or meister, Maka Albarn. The contrasting duo work and study alongside the hot headed Black☆Star and his caring weapon Tsubaki, as well as the Shinigami's own son, Death the Kid, an obsessive-compulsive dual wielder of twin pistols Patty and Liz.

Soul Eater follows these students of Shibusen as they take on missions to collect souls and protect the city from the world's threats while working together under the snickering sun to become sounder in mind, body, and soul.

This show is a must see. Top five to recommend to others. I really enjoyed the characters and the story in this one. There were delightful twists and unexpected depth to some of the characters that I was wonderfully surprised with. Overall a great watch, and not a bad series to binge either.

Soul Eater is one of my top ten favorite anime and I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a series that has action mixed with tons of comedy. Every character has their own quirks and personality. The comedy doesn't take away from the action and the series pretty much sticks to the story instead of running all over the place like a lot of newer anime tends to do. The graphics are done quite well and again it's definitely a unique style of artwork that I don't see in a lot of anime. I will say however, if you watch the anime in the English language (let's face it, there are anime that have been dubbed in multiple languages. Not a lot but there are a few; thus I cannot speak for them), there are some minor mistakes. One noticeably is during an episode later in the series (can't remember which one that it was in but it was quite a bit later in the series) where the female doctor and Dr. Stein are having a conversation on the correct way to make coffee however what they were making was tea, not coffee (the box they were using was clearly labeled "Tea"). So if small things like that don't bother you then you'll definitely like this anime.

Anyway, if I would have to choose one thing that makes this anime stand out from the others, it would have to be the artwork, definitely. The characters would be a close second.

I think One Piece will end after the Wano Arc..especially once Luffy fights Kaido and possibly Big Mom, what do you guys think?

I wanted to make a thread about this anime a few months ago, but I guess I lost track of time. Oh well.

The Case Files of Lord El-Melloi II is a direct sequel to Fate/Zero. It takes place 10 years after the 4th Holy Grail War, starring Waver Velvet, now known as Lord El-Melloi II. The Fate series has an Urban Fantasy setting, but so far this anime has more of a Detective Mystery setting, taking place in England.
So far, I'm liking it. I like the majority of the characters from the Fate universe, but there's typically not enough material that covers the aftermath of some characters or instances of magic being used in everyday life. The Case Files of Lord El-Melloi II fixes this by focusing upon the emotional impact of Fate/Zero on Waver as well as exploring the potential of magic outside of the Holy Grail War, which is mostly just expositioned by characters in Fate/stay night.
If you haven't seen any Fate, the only thing that you'd want to watch before this anime is Fate/Zero. I've heard from some people that you could watch this anime without Fate/Zero, but the OVA kind of spoils some of the events of Fate/Zero. Then again, it's nearly impossible to avoid Fate spoilers in this day and age.
I don't know if anyone is watching this, but it'd be nice to hear someone else's thoughts. I finished Episode 0 yesterday, and it felt nice to know that there's still a future for my favorite characters and stories.
