Part 1
This was hard to write, so enjoy!
There we are, at the airport. as we stepped inside I felt a rush of anxiety but also excitement. Looking at the massive crowds, loud beeps and ambient murmurs, it was scary to be honest. Fast forward and were in the plane, and it was amazing! I was surprised how much I needed to pop my ears (basically calibrating my ears to the incline).
There we were! Alaska! We stepped out of the airport, and I noticed how green the foliage was! First we ate at a waffle place, then we went to cabella's. Soon after we went to the cabin we stayed at for most of the trip. It was peaceful, serene, other people had different cabins, and OHMA GA THERE'S A DOG HERE SO CUTE!!!!! We went to cabella's again, went to an ice cream place. (P.S: This was before I realized I was lactose intolerant.) And we went on a big boat heading straight for a place called Fox Island!
The boat was nice, there was no limit to hot cocoa refills, and I got a cool water bottle! But Fox Island was the best thing in the whole trip! There was tasty food, and I got a mug from the little shop! While we started heading back, we had to turn around because somehow some random guy hopped onto the ship! We were heading back and the boat took it's time to stop so people can take pictures of sea otters and such.
But the end of the trip was actually kinda horrible...
