  1. One more thing. Non realistic anime are the ones with the more interesting and creative stories, since you can just do whatever. It's not realistic being stuck in a game and having to fight to escape, but the concepts inviting. It's not realistic turning into a ghoul, but again, it's good.
  2. Dude, to be honest, realistic anime are boring. The only way they can be interesting is if there's mystery and suspense, and it's difficult to do that right too. For example, deathnote. Deathnote nailed the art of an anime being realistic yet good. (in realistic, i'm guessing you don't mean supernatural, because deathnote has supernatural elements in it) Less realistic anime is better, only if you learn to adapt like me and just ignore the sensor in your brain telling you "this can't happen. nobody does that". You have to enjoy the show for the show.
  3. So, what have you decided on then? You've gotten tons of suggestions, which one did you choose?
  4. Up until episodes 18 I loved it, but then the suspense just turned into filler. I hope it gets better though
  5. Almost everyone goes through the stage of being interested in horror/mystery/suspense anime, but dude there's way more to it than that. If you want a nice little horror stuff, you're not gonna get it. Unless you believe gore=horror. There are no legit scary anime, only ones filled with blood, though I'd still recommend Tokyo Ghoul. Trust me though, the good anime are usually the long ass adventure/action ones, those are the time you wanna get immersed into. Sure it seems more appealing to be immersed in a more realistic and serious anime, but you're gonna have the most fun with anime like one piece or naruto. The vampire anime you were talking about might have been Hellsing, since the original one got canceled (manga wasn't complete). i personally can't stand it, i despise it but i guess it's just not my cup of tea. If you're looking for a slightly shorter anime then I suggest Samurai Champloo. It was the second anime i watched and was definitely the reason i got into anime. It's samurai/action/adventure, and it's a good time.
  6. Dude i'm A hundred percent serious when I say this, One Punch Man had GOT to be the best comedy anime of all time. People are literally gonna rage if that's not on there. (and by people i mean me)
  7. Well, sorry to be so mainstream but naruto is a pretty good anime. It's exactly what you looking for, awesome action scenes, long adventure and so many friggin episodes. It's also pretty funny at times. If not that then I suggest you go for the greatest anime of all time, One punch man. i don't know if you've already watched it, but if you haven't then you have to. So good.
  8. Goddamn attack on titan gets so boring after awhile. I honestly haven't seen a slower anime. I highly recommend it!
