Anyone wanna go to a anime convention? I Need a ride! And your welcome to come and stay, read the rest of the post for details and message me if interested.

Alright so I'm planning a trip to Acen, which is a Anime Convention in Illinois, only problem is I need a ride, and if your wondering, yes, you are welcome to go with me and my friends who live there, they said its perfectly fine, the trip would take 1 day 7 hours to get There from where I live which is Oregon and would also be the same on the way back. We would be staying in a Hotel near the convention in the same room as my friends, we will all be splitting the cost which will be $180 from each of us and that would cover 3 nights at the hotel and the price to get into the convention would be $58 until April first, then its $70 the date the trip will take place is 17th of may - 21st

http://www.acen.org/registrations/ you can pay online here or you can pay at the desk on may 18th, the convention starts the 19th

If you want an easier option, you can just opt to go to Sakura-Con in Seattle. Take a Bolt Bus from Portland straight to Seattle downtown, or the Amtrak cascades line from Oregon into Seattle - they both drop off right next to light rail that will drop you right next to the convention center and surrounding hotels. Both options also have wifi, and at least in Bolt Bus' case, electrical outlets.

Might be a more reliable / safer option than trying to solicit rides from people that you've never met before, to be honest.

I wish I could do that, but sadly this is my only option of ever going to a Con with my friend who lives in Illinois, I don't really have any other means of transportation, especially since I don't live in the city or town, so I'm kinda just looking for someone who would be interested in a trip to a con and would like to tag along as well as provide a ride there and back.
