Yo just wanted to try this forum out to see if can get some good recommendations and maybe some m8s to play some games with. I am a 19 year older guy from Portugal living in the UK to study in Uni, have been a gamer all my life and a weeb since maybe 5 years ago. Since then a LOT of my free time has been spent watching anime and reading manga so i have now watched over 400 anime series and am reading or have read more than 400 mangas! Always up for some good recommendations in case you have some, especially mangas. Aight guys thanks for reading and have a good one!

Jesus man i have read and seen so many but here are some my favourites:

Anime - Hunter x Hunter, Clannad: After Story, Haikyuu, Code Geass

Manga - Vinland Saga, Oyasumi Punpun, Monster, Beck

I do prefer if there is romance doesn't matter what kind of genre/setting it is, but yeah i'd say for manga's i've been enjoying the "Isekai" genre lately and as for animes i just watch any animes in the latest season that catch my eye.

Guess we're on the same boat I haven't watched a lot of animes though. Have ya tried Watching Mirrai Nikki? There's a twisted romance going on although it's kind of gore. It's actually my favorite anime.

Have you seen Kaichou Wa Maid Sama!!, Kamisama Kiss, Wolf Girl and Black Prince, My Little MonsterIs This A Zombie or Guilty Crown (BTW Guilty Crown has a teeny-tiny bit of womance)? I highly recommend them!! I know more womance anime but I can't remember them now. Gomenasai senpai!! But um...what exactly is shoujo anime? Is it something like reverse harem anime? If it is, then I'd recommend Amnesia, Kamigami No Asobi, Dance With Devils, Diabolik Lovers, Uta No Prince Sama, Ouran Highschool Host Club and Brothers Conflict.
