Need recommendations on romance plz

Hello, I'm currently in a rut here trying to find good romance anime's with actual romance progression and ones that don't end like Guilty Crown, Gurren Lagann, Tokyo Ravens, Clannad, etc... I try to steer clear of harems as they almost always have duller than dirt MC's...

I've seen Kimi no Na wa and Koe no Katachi, just didn't really see Katachi as a romance anime.... felt like I'd been tricked into a bullying seminar lol, but it was amazing anyways, thank you for the recommendations and thank you for the warm welcome

donno why I forgot to mention spice and wolf , and I completely enjoyed it as well , tho I haven't finished miss dragon maid I've also enjoyed what I've seen just got sidetracked with others I was enjoying more

have you watched ore monogatari? its super adorable and makes you feel really warm and happy

its not like regular romance progression tho, they start dating quite quickly. its more about insecurities and growing closer in an innocent high school relationship

I've tried watching zero no Tsukaima but couldn't stand the way she talks to him... It takes Tsundere to a whole new level

Kami Nomi Zo Shiru Sekai!

The premise is, Keima Katsuragi, thinking it is an invitation to a game challenge, accepts a contract to "conquer" girls and has to team up with a demon named Elsie in order to capture loose spirits that have placed themselves in the hearts of girls. In order to capture them, Keima must make the girls fall in love with him, thus driving the spirit out. The girls forget the "conquest" after the loose souls are driven out, so you don't need to worry about this becoming a harem...at least until season 3.

It's based on dating sims, so alot of the characters' personalities are derived from character archetypes you typically find in those, but the characters are far from 2-dimensional, the author instead uses these traits to give each a relatable problem.

If you do decide to take this series up, be sure to watch the seasons and OVAs in order, or simply read the manga.

At this rate you still need recommendations from us? Have ya seen color cloud palace? It's a Romance anime. I'm not sure if you're in to Historical Genres though

yes the ef series does have some strong tragedy situations in it and in how the different love stories pan'd out

I suggest watching Kaichou Wa Maid Sama, one of my favourite romance animes ever made. Anime ends kind of half way, but the manga is finished.
