Don't know if this constitutes as art but I elongated the ears on this mask with sculpting clay, molded and held them together with needlework and glue. I cut the eye slits to stitch the brow down from the inside, to give a more sinister depth that fit my model. Then I painted the eyes black and the mouth, with a wash of brown tanning paint, fake blood and grey makeup. I dabbed grey and brown paint between some facial crevices to give more depth under certain light. Finally I sewed a scraggly hood (aka black pillowcase that was torn and met with a needle and thread).
This was my models Halloween costume for an event.
I'm not sure who created the original base of the mask but my model purchased it at a place called the Spirit store.
