I have yet to see the Anime but I have 7 of the Mangas and enjoy it immensely. Kaneki's development is great, I love pretty much everyone in this series and find all the characters to be very likable. The story is great as well, I love how complex it is with all the kagunes and the inward fight Kaneki's wrestling with, very good I think.

I agree, Anime that tries to be humorous when their is absolutely no need for the subject (or the writers have no idea what they're doing) just comes off as immature and annoying to me. This may be because I watch mostly mature Anime where jokes are literally never needed ...

Hello all! In 2009 Black Butler got it's own DS Game! It's a completely original story written by Yana Toboso featuring two new characters. The game is set in Brighton and allows players to control either Ciel or Sebastian to unravel a thrilling case in a choose-your-own-adventure style game. In other words; it's a MUST play for any fan of the series! However, most of us are not able to play it, that is, because the game was only released in Japanese, and no attempts have ever been made to localise it.. Until now. I'm part of a team hoping to create an English Patch for the game, but we need your help! We're looking to recruit more translators, proofreaders, formatters & others to help out. So, what popular overrated anime character that you like comes to mind? I'll name one. Rei Ayanami from Neon Genesis Evangelion. In fact she is the face of the series seeing as she has a critical role in the show, that being a clone of Shinji's mom and an obsession of his father. Rei comes off as the connection between Shinji and his father. Both talk to her primarily and both have a love for her. If Rei dies, well...Gendo Ikari will just grab another Rei. Kind of creepy to go and clone your wife in the form of a 14 year old girl.

My favorites are between Nichijou and Attack on Titan. They are both really good! If I had to choose one, I'd say Attack on Titan.

1. Bakugan, because it's my childhood and it always brings back memories. 2. Highschool DxD, because ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) you know why. 3. Pokémon (same reason as Bakugan) 4. Naruto and One Piece, because the shows were, unlike the mangas, awesome and always fun to watch. BTW, they are equally good. 5. Yu Gi Oh, because the battles were fierce af, and the merch was also cool. That's my Top 5, guess I won't need pics.

I noticed in some anime shows that the characters will be silly by a male character jumping into the arms of a woman. That's a very over used joke that isn't funny anymore. Akame Ga Kill is a great example or Dragon Ball Z or Bleach where the comments just come off stupid although it was meant to be funny. I can't tell you how sick I got of Goku's wife bitching him out in every other episode or how those moments in the first season became very dull where the characters just stand around talking about things that don't seem to matter and the topic of the anime goes way off the rails. Sure...in the first season they had to train to beat the saiyans. But not only was the art sloppy, but so was the storylin ein the anime. I understand a majority of that stuff was non canon to the manga. Perhaps these wise cracks and stupid scenes that are supposed to be funny are aimed at very young children. But I don't find myself laughing. Than you have really off episodes that are full of these things where the anime goes straight from hard core action to some really off the wall humor. Neon Genesis Evangelion had some of this humor in it, but it was tolerable and easy to ignore. I tend to get completely turned off by an anime that has this kind of humor in it.If the see humor as too immature, than it becomes another reason. I do read the reviews but when when dumb and dull comedic moments become many in that anime when so many people rated it 'Good" I tend to scratch my head and wonder why they thought it was good. Is that why they watched it? I wanted a story, not some off the wall show that is hit and miss. Was it the fight scenes that were too few and the dull humor that out weighed the violence? Because when I picked up an anime that is supposed to be action, than why is there too many scenes where the characters behave as though they are like the looney toons? That's fine, I'll just shut it off and look for something else. If I want comedy with dull stupid humor I'll look to Love Hina or Great Teacher Onizuka. I prefer shows like Hellsing where the violence way outweighs the dumb and stupid scenes of the characters trying to be funny when they really aren't. There's a ton of anime out there that I absolutely find intolerant due to the over abundance of stupid humor that isn't all that funny. Am I the only one?

I've always liked Levi. It's obvious he's not gay. Thing is I would say if he and Hange get together it probably wouldn't be over their attitudes. In other words, Levi has a pessimistic yet depressing attitude where Levi acts like he's hoping for the best and preparing for the worst of things, yet Hange is the type of person who doesn't let a bad day let her down. She has an optimistic attitude which is very obvious. Even when you'd think she's be very depressed based on current events. She doesn't let it bother her. Despite these attitudes and it is easy to look past them. They both have an interest in killing Titans. Levi likes to exploit their weakness's and Hange likes to torture them. These are two things they have in common. Perhaps Hange and Levi will get together. Sometimes, in Levi's case there is a coping mechanism for those that are depressed and in denial. Despite the fact that we see Levi as this bad ass guy that is basically a ranger for the wall, even miserable people like to be around people that are really happy so that they can be happy through that person and I do agree that Hange should be the person for Levi.
