  3. I cannot place these in order because a lot of them are very close to one another where I'm concerned. Full Metal Alchemist They are My Noble Masters Cowboy Bebop H20 Footprints in the Sand Hantsuki Fist of the North Star Tales of Zesteria the X Manabi Straight Your Lie in April Clannad AnoHana Hiayako Hanasaki Iroha Eureka 7 Another Usagi Drop Alice to Zoruko The Devil is a Part Timer Working! Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood Intentionally skipping any movies because I could probably make three lists by heart of those without a second thought.

  4. I probably wouldn't notice no matter who it was. My GF claims that I'm horrible at noticing when someones flirting with me but she's wrong. Truth is I just don't care as I'm a one woman kinda guy.

  10. Plex is a do it yourself Netflix, so if you buy stuff from iTunes (video files need to be decrypted) or on DVD/BD, or use torrents, you can load them up on a device that will act as the server and stream from them, regardless on whether you are at home or on the go. Since it is your stuff, content will not disappear due to license expirations and stuff.

  13. Well, honestly I don't have a favorite anime genre. I enjoy a lot of things from action to psychological horror. I know this is a typical suggestion, but man, you gotta watch Higurashi if you want some tense horror. It's like a murder story that repeats itself with the same characters over and over. All the stories actually share the same murderer I believe, so it's sort of like a mystery for the audience. If you want another horror series go with Ayakashi: Samurai Horror Tales or its spin off Mononoke. They are both incredible horror anime with trippy as fuck animation and some pretty haunting moments. Ayakashi is three horror stories combined into 11 episodes with different styles and different characters. It has a phenomenal art direction. Mononoke on the other hand is just... you have to watch and see. It's just overall inspiring to look at times. I dunno why, but I'm in a horror vibe now.

  14. It really depends for me. It is not the best series out there, but if you read the books, the anime, at least the aincrad arc, seems like a godsend. I took a look at the light novels and things were so bad I did not bother reading more than one volume.

  15. SAO is a great example of how to take an interesting concept that had rarely been done, and completely ruin it. Yes, I will take whatever dislikes come from saying that but it's true. There was potential to make something great and it was ruined by short rushed arcs, the inability for it's creators to keep it in their pants long enough to tell a compelling story instead of jumping into fan service, and the idea of leaving SAO was the absolute worst thing that could have happened to the show. Any real stakes of drama were lost the first time we saw what a god character Kirito had become and how everyone outside of that first guild that he cared about had all the plot armor they needed to never really be in danger. Also the tsundere gimmick is bad enough as is, but adding to by speeding it up to the point where most would question why it's even there, just makes it worse. Also every character being defined by where they fall into or out of the pointless harem that came too late to matter, just makes everything one note and stops all character development from ever happening. SAO is one of the best example of how to waste potential.
