Many thanks to @Wedgy @Izzy and @xWickedNekox for contributing these. Set 1 by @Wedgy Set 2 by @Izzy Set 3 by @xWickedNekox Thanks again to those that contributed full sets. We may be looking at other personality types in future.

  3. This is officially the most stressful thread on AF. I CAN'T choose. If I chose, I'd hurt some of my waifu's feelings and we can't have that. Shame on you for trying to make me choose. xP

  4. Hi everyone i'm TogatheGangster aka Noah! I'm a 20 year old college student from California who adores all things geeky! I like anime, trading card games, cartoons, fanfiction, etc. I've been trying to make new friends who i can express my nerdy side around more and really just get out of my shell. My favorite animes are; My hero Academia, Watamote, Made in Abyss, and Another. If a piece of fiction has really good world building i'm already sold on it. I also really love creepy/quirky anime girls (hence some of my favorite animes lol) and shy/easily flustered anime boys. Besides all that I enjoy listening to music, reading, playing video games, and just talking with people. I hope to make some friends and just have an all around pretty good time on this forum.

  5. Nevermind that all 3 of those words basically mean the same thing, how do you feel about them? Anime, and by extension, all entertainment media, is filled with clichés and the like. But are clichés always a bad thing? We always hear them as a thing to look down upon and that any form of media that lacks tropes and stereotypes is a good piece of media, but I believe that while being unique can be a great thing, it can jist as easily spell disaster for a show. I have a saying. "Clichés are not bad, poorly used clichés are bad." And I will probably always believe this. If you look at a show like My Hero Academia, whether you like it or not, its use of stereotypes and clichés are not its downfall. Even its setting isn't very unique. Amongst anime, sure, a world filled with superheroes is a rare find, but take a look at the west and look at all the Marvel and DC franchises that have been around for WAY longer. Clichés can easily be turned from bad into great, or even go from being bad to simply not ruining a scene. Imagine this: A romance anime, the main duo is alone by a river, about to confess and kiss for the first time. Then one of their phones goes off. NOW, how does this always get played out in anime, and has come to common knowledge to be known as a pain in the ass? They both get flustered, and there's no confession or kiss, and they miss the moment, and then the show ends. "Now go buy our manga!" says the anime. But imagine if it played out like this: One of their phones goes off, the other gets flustered, but the one with the phone simply chucks it into the river, confesses, and they kiss. Got all the nice dramatic OST going and all that. Something as simple ad that can turn one of the most annoying tropes in anime into a great and memorable moment that'll leave you satisfied. Though that being said, nobody has ever really done that to my knowledge. Hence why I've been saying "imagine" ('-' ) Anyhoo, long story short, I shall repeat. Clichés are not bad, poorly used clichés are bad, and while I absolutely despise poorly used clichés, I have absolutely no issue, and even greatly enjoy well used clichés.

  6. Got done with the first night of programming classes, and found out that everything will mostly be in class, which means I can play more Dragon Quest 11 (just have to remember to save often, otherwise I will need to fight bosses all over again).

  7. I think its a good idea just as it is. We only have one personality at our core truly so therefore its a very accurate representation of each person here at AF. Though on the side of admiring the images themselves I would have to say I like all of them, and they are cute forsure. The one I use works well for me though.

  9. Dog girls all the way. Because A) Dogs are best B) Dogs C) Dogs. More to say?

  10. The fox girl imo is the best, she would be very fun to hang out with and being wise means we would get along a lot better than the others, also her tail is a lot more fluffy and would be fun to pet. My second pic would be that cat-girl, she is super Kawaii and looks kinda Tsundere-ey, so yea, +Cat girls are just always better than dog-girls imo.

  12. For me it definitely has to be the artwork and how most characters can be serious or have a very serious moment then some comedy ends up slipping in as well. It's not all one constant emotion in one scene.

  13. I get bored too easy in creative mode. Usually when by myself I play hardcore survival.. and then proceed to try to build giant constructions as if I was in creative. (I might have been a masochist in a previous life. ) My current multiplayer game on my brother's server is a hard mode survival game with large biomes so there's been a focus on exploration. We (me & the people I play with) decided that was fine because while we're all MC veterans none of us had played for several years. I personally hadn't played since horses were brand new (ca. 2013?). At this point we're past the initial base-building phase and just having a good time exploring and discovering all the "new" stuff. I love how pickles light up the coral reef biome for example. The world spawn point was a beach between a coral ocean and hilly forest but we decided the local food needed augmentation so we've recently been on a Quest for Cookies. Nobody's found a jungle biome (for the cocoa beans) yet tho. I've got a secondary personal quest to find enough clay and cactus to make a giant Kerbal statue. Haven't figured out what I'll use for the orange jumpsuit yet though. Farming enough pumpkins sounds like too much work. Probably need to find a badlands biome for some orange terracotta first.

  17. Hi there. And welcome to the forum. As I'm sure you can tell already. There are lots of cool people here who enjoy a lot of the same things. It's great. If you keep chatting with people you'll make a lot of great friends easily. I grew up with all of those shows too. Card capture Sakura, sailor moon, trigun, pokemon, digimon, ect. Such a great time. I was either watching that or playing the legend of zelda ocarina of time/pokemon snap/pokemon stadium/ mario kart 64. Now a days I tend to draw when I'm not doing personal studies. And on breaks I'm playing Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate on the Switch. Good times.

  18. Ok, it was actually hunter x hunter. I honestly had NO IDEA that show was over 10 years old, I though it was something from 2012 so I never even considered it (I only really watch old shows). Thank you however, I will for sure check it out now

  19. I CAN'T WAIT!! And of course obviously we all know who I ship, NaLu forever Anywayssss I've read the first few chapters in the new manga and even though NaLu is still not very official, they have a lot of lewd things going on with each other, and that keeps me satisfied for now. FOR NOW. Cause I will never be completely satisfied if they don't become official. But I'm still pretty excited for the 3rd season, really really really can't wait!

  20. eeeehhhhh.. that's such a waste! I bet you can do better this time! But I respect your decision if you really don't want to anymore though, I'm always like that, I don't do what I don't like doing even though it's a must. I stopped working not only cause I don't like it but other reasons too, long story lol Thank you! It's nice to meet you Thanks! I really am enjoying my stay here Community is great and fun! I know right! It's hella crazy! Lol I have an extremely short attention span too and easily get distracted but mostly because of the medicine I've been taking, it's not that bad for me, just few side effects here and there, oh wait, there's one that's actually bad, lol never mind the it's not that bad, but yeah been taking meds cause shit happened so yeah

  21. AMEN! I thought I was the only person who thought that, - though mostly that idea usually comes about when someone who can't draw or doesn't draw well or even to my level or higher, comes on my account to criticize my work. My belief is if you personally have a problem with my work, then you should take it and make it the way you want to see it - ie put your money where your mouth is, (rather than babble) - otherwise leave me alone and let me do what I want to do, despite being half blind suffering with depression. Course when I use this approach, people (mostly teens and young adults) attack me even more and say how I'm "not a professional cuz I don't accept critiques" and how "I would never improve without critique" Steups -.- I don't believe in that. I find you should have a right to make your own decisions on how to look - (especially if you're an adult) Other people shouldn't be dictating others just cuz they have issues. Yeah, but it's all good though.... Now I just use the bs as fuel to make certain types of art. Last yr I got so mad, I started making a F**k off art piece (first img) It's not done yet. I gotta go back in and work on shirt, add some wings and roses etc and then apply colour to it. (And yes, it's a self portrait lol.) But I first, have to finish working on my BD Art Gift (second img) I work on it when I'm in the mood lol.

  22. I have found the best way to expand your horizons in anime is just to browse lists, and streaming sites for anime. Often when your just clicking on stuff, and something catches your eye you get serious, and then boom you found a new series. Personally since I have been here on this forum even I have found like 12 new series I am going to be watching. I found out about them, or got the urge to explore them just from reading the various suggestion request topics.

  23. Well I am glad its the choice for you, and that its working out. I personally like having my consoles,. and PC, and a bit more hands on control of the software. Though thats not to say with a good strong internet connection you can't enjoy a large amount of games via their servers. I know you can even have PSNow on smart tvs too.

  24. Although my friendship ended with someone I met here. I will say I definitely enjoyed my time with that person. She was one of the best things in my life, treating me as family in a way. Something that personal should always be honoured.
