Isnt't there this google forms thing where you can make surveys? i think that might be helpful for these kind of things, and makes data easier to collect. You can give different kinds of ajnswering options, like mutliple choice, long and short texts and boxes, and you'll get some easy to read page with all the answers organized.

I don’t know maybe I don’t need friends since I seem to be doing fine without any. Most people I talk with are just acquaintances really since I don’t know much about them. Friendships is something that needs commitment.

You won't have any say in what kind of anime you get, you ask me for something, you get what you get! Simple as that Oh, but I'm not entirely cruel, I'll give you every right to request the following: Sub or dub (UNLESS I SAY TO WATCH ONE SPECIFICALLY, this doesn't happen often.) The length of the anime (I understand some people have less time than others, so if you only have time for 12 episodes, I gotchu.) For the three main modes (Regular, Hardcore, and Insane) you will gain stars by completing the anime that I give you! However you will LOSE stars by dropping the anime before you're allowed to! What's the fun part? Well I'm sure you saw me mention gaining/losing stars! WHEN you acquire at LEAST one star your name will be placed on the awesome list, with one star! The same applies to the naughty list, however that's for people with negative points. If your name is on that list, you will have at least one demerit point, and a large heap of shame. How do you get rid of demerit points? Get stars! How do you lose stars? Get demerit points. (Don't do that) Keep in mind, if you straight-up refuse to watch an anime (for whatever dumb reason) the penalty for "dropping" a show will be doubled. Spooky. Oh, and if you don't update me on whether you're still working away at your challenge within one month of receiving it or previously updating me on your progress, I will consider it a failure, and you will receive appropriate demerit points. To conserve on space: STAAAAR COLOOOOOURS! Soooo what're those? I used generic RPG rarity scale. Almost. 1 star = 1 black star ☆ 5 black stars = 1 green star ☆ 5 green stars = 1 blue star ☆ 5 blue stars = 1 purple star ☆ 5 purple stars = 1 orange star ☆ 5 orange stars = dayum son. So aim to score high! Ah yes, all those nice stars up there? Mind you, the same colour scheme applies to demerit points ('-' ) I will reward stars via chunks of episodes. What do I mean? 1-15 episodes is one chunk. 16-30 is the next chunk. 31-45 is the third chunk, and so on. The actual star values given are explained under each one's actual... explanation ;D I suppose I'll also allow you to BRIEFLY chat about the show you're watching if you have something you'd like to say. Just be sure to put spoilers in spoiler tags. ☆☆☆☆☆ Regular Mode! This is the classic mode! So HOW does THIS mode work? When I give you a recommendation, you watch it! If you complete it you will get your prize! HOWEVER If you drop the anime before COMPLETING episode 5... you will LOSE stars equivalent to however many you would have gained if you had completed it! Of course now you may be thinking "Ay, but what about that moral grey area between after episode 5 and before completion!?" Well meh, nothing happens if you drop it there, if you didn't like it by episode 5, that's fair So lets look at the numbers for a moment shall we? Every 1 to 15 episodes will reward you with 1 star. Every 16 to 30 episodes will reward you with 2 stars! This pattern continues onwards. Which reminds me, you ARE NOT obligated to watch every season of a show that I give to you in this mode, merely the first season. Should you choose to watch any further seasons, I WILL give you stars for them though, and the episode total will simply combine the total of all seasons. Movies are fair game too! Almost always worth only 1 star though, and regular mode is really the only mode you'll ever get a movie. ☆☆☆☆☆ Hardcore Mode THIS MODE IS EXTREME!!! WHY IS IT EXTREME!? BECAUSEYEAH IT'S EXTREME!!! What's the point of this? Well this is for you brave people out there who want ALLLLLL THE STARS!!! In THIS mode, you get DOUBLE THE STARS FOR COMPLETING WHAT I GIVE YOU! But that's not all, you also LOSE DOUBLE WHAT YOU WOULD HAVE LOST BY DROPPING IT!!! Not evil enough? Well I daresay I'm not done here yet, THIS TIME AROUND, YOU AREN'T ALLOWED TO DROP THE ANIME I GIVE YOU! If you drop it between episode 0 and the end, you will LOSE stars! Double the loss of course! In addition to this however, in order to get your stars, you will need to provide a 250 word MINIMUM review of the show that you got. As long as it's 250 words, you're good to go, just make sure you don't confuse "review" with "plot summary." The numbers though! Every chunk of episodes will be worth 2 stars! 1-15 is 2 stars, 16-30 is 4 stars, and all that stuff!!

so i was looking for a PDF copy of a book online to read/gather information, for a project i have to do, and then surfed a bit the net, after finding one, decided i would transfer it to my phone for reading purposes, while in school but that's just it, while thinking how i would transfer it to my phone, since i downloaded it on my PC, i was wondering "how do i transfer this to my phone...FTP(file transfer protocol/wifi transfer)..or direct usb ?" since im somewhat lazy at plugging a micro USB onto my pc, i tend to transfer anything from my PC to phone via FTP, so i guess in a way, i prefer transfering via FTP, but what about you guys, do you tend to transfer (be it a song, a picture, a movie, and etc etc,) via FTP, or via USB-media-transfer ?, or does it depend on the size of the file, when picking the way you will transfer/move the said file ? (im basing this on PC-> phone, but it can also be other stuff, aslong as its not a flash drive, as you need to just plug a flash drive to transfer, and cant transfer stuff via FTP in it) as usual~ let's have some knowledgeable discussion~ (i had no idea what image to use for this discussion..so have two monitors and two hands <.>)

aside from this, its best to pick one that's durable and last's long, like this new battery from duracell~ "advertises duracell battery" but joking aside (first part was serious, duracell was a joke >.>), id also check spec-wise of the phones, rather than instantly buying any phone with huge storage in it, what's the point of having good internal/external memory, if it lags when its not even using those space edit: though, all of what i said is negated, if its a throwable phone >.> that's like love hating someone tho'

I completely agree with you on most of these. I definitely prefer the slender character almost all the time. Didn't see character development mentioned here a lot so I am glad you did. I dpn't think I even mentioned that yet even though thats one big thing that really sets anime apart. I am sure about you, but anime is what inspired me to get into art to began with.

FTP, or File transfer protocol is a pretty bandwidth intense way to send stuff to my phone just for a song, or image. If I am honest I just hook up my phone direct, and transfer via usb most of the time. Though some book stores require their secure transmission with drm and all that. Though is is become far less common of an issue. In terms of checking out phones with more storage good to check internal storage, but also to see if it supports expandable storage via micoSD. Even the budget smart phones are now normally offering up to 64GB extra storage with most easily supporting 128GB microSD cards.

It looks really cute in terms of the art. I like the story from what I can see too. I honestly have become obsessed with VNs since being in this group.

I agree fully with doing this via Google servery. Its just safer that way for everyone involved plus there is lots of ways to gather information about a certain community or fandom. Best to just search stuff about it online, and read the various sites forums etc.

@XII360 Yeah, my phone has a lot of forced apps on it like the NFL app. I tried to delete it and it gave me some lie about deleting it would cause system malfunctions. Maybe less advertising money to Samsung but system malfunctions? Ha!

...i know the feeling of having no memory, my phone's memory (posted on spoiler) isnt really having fun, and the only app's i have are those 4 games i always play on mobile (yknow the drill, fgo, feh, etc etc), and im forced to use "ccleaner" just to make temporary free space, just to update my app's, wish we could remove pre-installed app's, as i use s7active (which is, an AT&T brand), bloatware's are allot, like lot-lot (10gb of pre-installed...10gb, jesus christ man >.>) next time im buying a phone, im going to look up its maximum internal storage space, aside from its durability ._. 23gb is not alot for a gamer >.> (since app's update, and take up internal storage, rather than external, making external kinda useless, even if i transfer them to external -_-)

I usually email it to myself, or dropbox if I have large files or many to transfer. If cleaning my phone out of pictures I do a USB transfer with a straight up cut and paste. My next phone will have an ungodly amount of memory. Sometimes I clean out the photos and still can't update apps without deleting another app (and I don't have many downloaded apps as it is). It is getting old. Real old.

For me it's > How they tell their stories through the characters. > Quality of animation. > Their attention to detailing (particularly for backgrounds and environments) > Attention to character development. (If they make their characters relate-able and don't bury their work in a ton of male/female fan service, sexual innuendos, panty/breast shots etc, then I consider the show like media gold.) > Their sense of "slap stick" humor and exaggerated character facial expressions. > Art styles. (I kinda prefer the slender/skinny built characters, over the muscular, toxic masculine ones and for females, I prefer if they weren't used a "sex object" and/or "damsel in distress" type in the show.)

So hello there this is a random thing I decided to give this a try cause why not? So how are you everyone ? so I'm a Canadian dood of the ripe old age of 24. Recently started watching card captor Sakura: clear cards and tbh it fills me with such joy I can't express it. I grow up watching anime before I even knew what anime was with stuff like pokemon and DBZ. Out side of anime I'd say gaming (I have way too many games to beat and I'm currently getting though all modes of slay the Spire) is my only real hobby though working out is something I'm try to develop got to be swol af.

Hi everyone i'm TogatheGangster aka Noah! I'm a 20 year old college student from California who adores all things geeky! I like anime, trading card games, cartoons, fanfiction, etc. I've been trying to make new friends who i can express my nerdy side around more and really just get out of my shell. My favorite animes are; My hero Academia, Watamote, Made in Abyss, and Another. If a piece of fiction has really good world building i'm already sold on it. I also really love creepy/quirky anime girls (hence some of my favorite animes lol) and shy/easily flustered anime boys. Besides all that I enjoy listening to music, reading, playing video games, and just talking with people. I hope to make some friends and just have an all around pretty good time on this forum.

I know I replied to this thread already, but I'm currently watching Gintama, (since AOT airs weekly. I have nothing to watch while I wait for the next eps.) I kinda wish people told me about this Anime alot sooner though. It's hilarious so far XD

my favorite is most likely Kebab, its pretty much meat and onions, and is god damn delicious as hell >.> my junk food of choice is...anything thats good really, and cheap-ish, say, tortillias, its pretty cheap and big, but sometimes i go for Nagaraya as dat crunchyness is so umaaaii~ (good) as for drinks... all hail mighty H2O formula aside from water, i go for tea too, they are generally good, coffee is no go for me, for i have adult taste

Glad to have another ordinary day before class number 2 tonight. However, what has me most excited is that I finally found DQ 11’s gold region. Might not be a great place to grind after a while, but I can at least get new gear quicker than the usual slog.

This has some fairly personal information in it, so can we request that you make an actual questionnaire on Google Forms, or something equivalent? It just makes the information more private. Also, what exactly are you using this for? What do things like friendship groups (other than specifically anime focussed friendship groups) or favourite possessions have to do with anime and manga?

Wow, today was a really long day. First, I woke up and assisted my husband with a rescue diving class. Usually I am in the water as a victim, but since my last box of contacts had some issues (I think they were contaminated. I got eye infections from using them twice. Had to be a bad batch. Never had an eye infection before in my life till then!), and he had another divemaster in the water, I instead stuck with surface support and shore work. Even so, I almost stayed behind to listen to lectures for the next class he was teaching after the dives. Instead, I skipped changing my clothes and just went home (because I left my phone at home to charge). Upon getting home, I immediately get to changing into some dry clothes and while putting on my jeans, I hear a kitten screaming. My head shot up (and all the girls were in the room with me). I immediately opened the window by me and saw nothing. Juliet was in the other window watching so I peered out of her window and saw Nighthawk and her kittens with Squint and Sniper walking out of the backyard. Yet I could still hear crying... I headed out the back and to my horror found a little black kitten stuck in my chair. Somehow, he had falled with his arm between the slats of my chair, with his arm pinned inside. Nighthawk abandoned him in less than 2 minutes from the time it happened. He was wedged so deep with his arm all twisted that I couldn't pull him back up. I called my husband, distraught and interrupting class, to ask him where the saw was (I was already in the garage looking through toolboxes and workbenches) and the only one I saw was a tiny handsaw...which was ineffective. He decided to leave class to come help me...but he was thirty minutes away. I tried again with some clamps I found (using them in a spreading manner) to lessen the pressure and pulled him up and out. The arm was completely limp and useless. I ran him inside and grabbed a carrier and off to the emergency vet we went (telling my husband to stay and teach class). Thankfully the xrays didn't show a fracture but he still can't use his arm. If I had taken him to the Humane Society...well the best case scenario would be that they would have just amputated (but with the terrible one we have I'm sure they would have simply euthanized him). With some anti-inflammatories and pain medications, I'm told he should be walking on it in a few days (or nerve damage would be the culprit). He's actually the other kitten I saved bigger brother.... looks like we're caring for two now. Almost time for his next dose of pain medication. Oh man I'm tired. =/ I can't stand to see a kitten in pain. I'm just so relieved he's going to be alright. I hope... time for more expensive vet visits tomorrow....
