  1. Male because... I'm male. I can't relate to a female character and personally, I like a good lookin' sexy man avatar ; ) Now where's my male harem?

  2. Hello, I am King Blanketfort! Ruler of the blanket forts, protector of Saturday Morning Cartoons, leader of the breakfast cereal and pajama party and surveyor of the Nostalgia Forest! Now that that "completely serious introduction" is over, hello! Somewhat of an old fogey, I'm an Anime fan of old. I'm a 31 year old married man. My husband and I have been together for nearly five years. I am a Mortician, with also an Art background so I also draw from time to time. I work in the field of Mortician, specifically an embalmer. Each week I host a sort of "group meeting" for the children within my religious following with which I am the ordained High Priest of my sector. We are a Pagan religion and choose to operate in private. Any questions, please feel free to ask. On my down time, besides drawing, I enjoy reading, writing and studying languages, ancient history and Mythologies. My favourites are Egyptian, Anglo-Saxon, Japanese, African and Mexican. A big fan of table-top and other forms of Role Playing, it goes without saying I am an enormous Tolkien fan as well, my favourite book being "The Hobbit." Though I'm not devoid of Sci-Fi love, with even a tattoo sporting my favourite: Star Trek. Music tastes vary upon my mood, but my go-to's are always classical, jazz/swing, lounge-style singing, and cultural folk and opera. However from time to time I enjoy my classic rock as well, with very rare likes of pop/R&B (90's era is the best). Odd quirks: I collect music boxes, old jewellery/antiques, snow globes, Buddhas, Dragons, horses/unicorns/Pegasus things and rubber ducks. Pleasure to be here, and I hope we can all have some great discussions.!

  4. Okay, I had to look it up and I was surprised I had seen it before! I'm wondering...were you using rice flour or wheat flour? And from what I can tell...it is a kind of uncooked dough....so if the texture was really bad...maybe you need to work at your kneading skills? Or maybe you are using a really bad recipe. I make cardamom braided loaves from time to time to work on mine. I'm no master, but what I produce now is at least edible compared to my first several attempts lol... I even ruined the simplest easiest cinnamon roll dough my first time. Still...uncooked dough...no matter how sweet...seems like it would taste like...uncooked dough... >_> They are pretty at least... Helps lure a person in I'm sure...

  5. @ArchieKun Well...if it were me... I'd make a bigger farm... and I'd make sure that my ranch fencing was at least two blocks from any higher terrain (keeps other mobs from being able to walk or fall in with your herd...which can be problematic to get rid of without harming your herds...or they might eat your herd in the case of wolves and sheep). A friend of mine would have decided that was good enough for a start and begun building a mansion lol... It all depends on what you want to do. I usually explore the map for about a week in game before picking my prime spot to settle down, then I build a fairly reasonable house...put down some seeds and farm enough to keep me alive and start up a mine. My usual goal is to get to the Nether as quickly as possible (this will require diamonds, obsidian, lots of time mining). The Nether is quite dangerous, but it is the only place to get netherrack and glowstones (unless you have a village priest for trading). I haven't shared any of my pictures because they are home on my PS4 right now. I also tend to focus on village repairs (villagers suck at building roads lol) and upgrading my villages. I almost always add in a central market for every village I fix. One village I fixed, I built a giant statue of a cat, meant to be their Cat God. And like a true cat...I faced it away from the village so the temple was looking directly at it's butt..... LOL....that part was unintentional but I thought it was hilariously true at the time. Eyes of packed emerald blocks, build from quartz.... On another, where I connected several village areas, I built a temple to the Creepers up in the mountain...complete with a creeper statue and stained glass windows....had holes blasted into the floor and walls to make it appear that they may have actually summoned one or two....created a ruined village just outside on the mountainside... On another, I build a really nice sailing ship, filled it with cargo, a port and a working lighthouse...a bridge connected the port to the local town and I had planned on making flying saucers in the skies above the desert town...attacking off course.... never got around to that part though. Literally, your imagination is your only limitation! Talk about things between the two of you (though maybe start small...like a treehouse spanning several tall oaks... You don't want to take on a task too large that'll burn you out when you are still learning the game) and pick something you'd both like to have. Just keep in mind big projects require stacks and stacks of resources you might have to grind out in a mine...

  6. So in Tokyo there's a fairly famous district called Akihabara, in which there are a ton of otaku related shops and stuff. It's cool at first, but gets old fast. You wouldn't want to live there. Also there's this weird air about the place that can only be described as 'testosterone driven'. Basically everything was sexualised in some manner or another, and there were buildings with adverts covering their entire walls for 18+ games. It's fun to visit, less fun to stick around.

  7. I have only finished Zestiria and man that was a big task. That game is enormous and the amount of dialogue... just wow. Unfortunately most of it was a dull mess.

  8. I'd say the dynasty warriors series. Nothing better than that for some stress release. Also shadow of the colossus.

  9. Clannad Ending This made me want to try some out since Nagisa was obsessed with them. My friends and I tried to make them 3 TIMES with 3 DIFFERENT recipes to follow. But it was to no avail. It always tasted like eating a ball of clay. And the texture.... oh god the texture.... not good. Maybe we just really suck at making dango, but we're avoiding them forever unless we get some authentic ones sometime lmao.

  11. Lol "alcohols". Yes, yes I do. In fact, I'm always the bartender at me and my husband's house parties we host. I make the best drinks. My favourites are liquors, with whiskey being my top pick. Wine is wonderful of course, and it's certainly on my list. But don't think I'm above beer! Though I'm a bit of an import snob, and love Heiniken and my Japanese beer, Sapporo and Kirin Ichiban. And of course, we can't forget Sake. I love it hot the best.

  12. I started out with liking dub but after watching a fair few anime and started watching seasonal stuff or new stuff with out dub I started watching more and more subs until I just move to sub completely. I don't care if people watch sub or dub what ever is better for them, I can't tell someone else how to enjoy anime.

  13. Do I even want to know exactly what Dango is? Just the name sounds like a bad mistake.
