  2. I thought you guys might like to see what I got today, and here is the stuff. I just tried out the dual shock 4 and it worked quite well with the PC version of DQ 11. Looks like I will not need a PS4 just for a few games.

  3. The show staff have OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED that LELOUCH IS DEAD. They have been repeating this for 10 years. This was confirmed in interviews, live commentaries, tweets, the official guide book, the new epilogue they made (2009), and the sequel's name is even "Lelouch of the Resurrection". (Mind you, the sequel is a single movie and not a season, and it's part of the recent movies' alternate universe, but Lelouch's fate is identical in R2 and the movies!) There's a Code Geass community database on reddit which gathered all the information we have, all the official statements, etc, and then goes over the code theories' points and shows how they are contradicted by the anime itself. The anime itself makes it impossible for Lelouch to have the code. It's a long post, but any Code Geass fan will want to read it. As an example, here is an excerpt from "Geass Memories", a series of tweets made at the 10 year Code Geass anniversary which talked about how they made the anime 10 years earlier: - "Before I started writing the story of a person called Lelouch, I confirmed with Taniguchi-director something. That thing was that THE END OF LELOUCH WILL BE DEATH." - "At least he is aware of his sins and pays for them with HIS DEATH." - "This man called Lelouch will pay for his sins by HIS DEATH. The story follows him till he finally make this decision." - "Probably this Lelouch we see in the first episode of the series wouldn't CHOOSE DEATH. He would try something to avoid it. He couldn't DIE, for Nunnally as well. But we see him changed in the last episode." Official source Screenshot Translation Another example, this one from the official guide book which clarifies the Zero Requiem: - "For those two who bear the heavy sin known as killing their fathers, they share the belief that they can forgive each other by imposing the greatest punishments on themselves. Death for Lelouch who wishes for a tomorrow with his sister, life for Suzaku who wishes to atone for his sins through death." Picture of that page in the guide book Many many many more can be found in the Code Geass community database.

  4. My life is good! I don't really have the most glamorous job and it isn't exactly one I want to be in for the rest of my life. But my job isn't the most important thing in my life. BF and I have a nice place (renting, basement suite) that we've managed to make our own, despite its (many) flaws, and we're quite proud of that! We don't make a lot of money, but it's enough to pay the bills/rent and have some left over. We'll never go hungry because we can afford to put a stupid amount of money into our grocery fund each month (that way we can always get the necessities and still have the luxury of the odd treat every now and again, as well as being able to do fairly large grocery shops [meat stock up, baking supplies, etc] when we need to). I've finally mastered the shape of sourdough loaves I make, so they're really suitable for all our uses now. And I've managed to add a couple other things to my repertoire of bakingetc. (ham and cheese biscuits, dairy-free coconut-free chocolate mousse, a couple other things I can't remember) I'm currently re-watching Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, and i don't see what's not good about that. So yeah, life is good. And when it isn't as good? I don't mind, just means I get to practice looking at the positive and learning to appreciate what I take for granted!

  5. One of the most annoying habits I had that I was able get away from was counting my steps. Like when I was walking on a sidewalk with equal length sections, I would have to take the same number of steps before I cross into the next section. And on top of that, I would not step on the cracks and have to alternate which foot was the one that crossed the line, so I would end up taking two left steps, or two right steps to keep my pattern, which was very annoying to the people behind me. What are some of your little oddities?

  6. Well, I'm in Canada, but we still celebrate in the Black Friday festivites (I've decided it's its own holiday now. I mean, Canada already had its Thanksgiving ages ago, so like, why wouldn't we just participate in the sales the States seem to go crazy for?) I never thought about getting anime like that before though! Maybe next year I'll consider it. This year, I decided to splurge on two PS4 controllers. Mine is bronze (not gold, blegh. Apparently the bronze is a "New Colour!" according to the package), and BF got a super dark blue controller.

  7. We have a PS4 that I sometimes play, and one day I'd like to build a PC (I don't know how, but that's what the internet is for)! On the PS4, I actually subscribe to PSNow. I've got a fairly jumpy attention-span, and no game can hold my focus for the entirety of it without playing a buttload of other stuff in-between. I can't really justify spending money on new games all the time, especially with my attention issues. PSNow is essentially Netflix for games, and it totally fits my needs! Buuuuuut, we did buy a different game last niiiiight (as well as new controllers because we only had one and we wanted two new ones so we can play games together and get the lovely feel of a new controller with our own colours and they finally went on sale so they were only $50 instead of $74 and now this is a really long run-on sentence but am I done yet, I don't think so, okay now I'm done). ANYWAY, grabbed Little Big Planet 3 and I am so stoked to try it out at some point this weekend

  8. I used to write reminders on my hands but I slowly started to ignore them and they became useless so I stopped. So humans have the ability to regurgitate food...

  9. Well, this is quite surprising. An episode of Detective Conan came out on Crunchyroll on my birth day, which was a little surprising, though it was mostly right on time. Still, kind of weird, because it never happened to me before.
