Hello everyone So, I have been thinking of running this contest for a while now, and would like to see the interest in it before I run it. I'd like to have 5 contestants minimum, so please reply below if you are interested. This is also my way of seeing if there is any forum interest in opening a cosplay section on the forum as I am interested in having one. The contest will run for five days and will be judged by myself and the winners (1st, 2nd, and honorable mention) will be paid out or gifted from my points accounts a set amount for their efforts. If I recieve enough interest by Friday at 1pm EST the contest will commence with full rules, prizes, and guidelines being posted over the weekend. This is planned to be a multiday contest with a new challenge every day. Please only participate if you believe that you will be able to respond to five daily challenges. The challenges will be parts of an outfit, accessory, or likewise. I will not ask you to plan a full outfit on a challenge nor multiple accessories on a single day.

I personalty would love to see a cosplay section in the future on AF, but perhaps not just for anime rather more for general cosplay which would cover anime, gaming, comics and beyond. Far as the contest is concerned I'd say sounds fun, but as I only have 2 cosplays myself presently and they are packed away at my parents house I won't be taking part this time. I will however keep a eye on this topic as well as the creative corner category idea as it seems to really being getting popular. In fact personally I think a cosplay forum section would fit rather nice in the Creative Corner category since it is itself a form of artistic expression. I do think the contest is a great idea and would also be good judge if we should add a contests forum section as well for future hopefully more regular contests.

Hmm, I would turn my car super saiyan, go find some people to race for money, and hope they don't get suspicious and/or scared of a glowing car.

We're in the UK, so our Prime and Netflix libraries are probably somewhat different from yours (we're assuming you're from the US), and we have no idea what's on Hulu, but here are some that we really like. Prime: Shinsekai Yori - people develop psychic powers, lots of bad thins happen, humanity almost goes extinct, and then society regresses to small villages. Some kids from a village get curious about the outside world. Great Teacher Onizuka - Ex-motorbike gang leader decides he wants to become a teacher because he thinks girls look cute in school uniforms. Feelgood comedy about his class rejecting him, while he tries to get their acceptance. Kuzu no Honkai - Two students are in love with their teachers, but can't date them for obvious reasons, so they date each other while pretending to be the teachers. Lots of sex scenes, but they're all really important to the plot. There isn't a single sex scene that is there just to be erotic, and the majority of them actively avoid trying to be erotic. Really serious drama about cheating, and one of our all time favourites. Fune wo Amu - A guy gets a job compiling a dictionary. So much better than that sounds, and also has some good romance. Princess Tutu - An author turns a duck into the fantastical Princess Tutu, and has her find the shards of a prince's heart through the power of ballet. If you're at all familiar with the original Grimm's fairytales, it's kind of like those. For example, in the original Cinderella, the ugly sisters cut of their heal and toes to fit in the shoe, then get their eyes pecked out by birds, and the step-mother is forced to dance until she dies of exhaustion. This is not a girly series, even if it first seems like it. It's also our all time favourite. Netflix: Little Witch Academia - Basically Harry Potter: The Anime, but by the people who made Kill la Kill and Gurren Lagann. High Score Girl - Romance about kids growing up in the 90s playing arcade games. And we're talking about the actual ones, Street Fighter II, Final Fight, and Virtua Fighter. This was probably our favourite anime of 2018. Saiki Kusuo no Ψ-nan - A guy with a bunch of superpowers including teleportation, mind reading, time travel, and invisibility tries to be as normal as possible, because if people find out he has powers, they'll ask him to do stuff for them, and that's a pain. Violet Evergarden - Girl is brought up during war on the battlefield, and knows nothing other than the orders of her commander. Her commander dies during the final mission of the war, and she is left in the care of the commander’s friend, who owns a post office. She decides to be a ghost writer so she can learn more about the emotions that she never knew. There are also a bunch of movies that are definitely worth watching, especially A Silent Voice, In This Corner of the World, Summer Wars, and Wolf Children.

Wow I agree with all of you. When I was at MAL I felt kinda ignored? If that's the right word. I guess it can't be helped as there are so many people there. Here in AF, it's a lot smaller but everyone is given equal attention. If that makes sense. Like a small city compared to a big city. And yes everyone here is nice and understanding.

I have been a member of MAL since 2009. I find it to be a good place to keep track of all anime that I have watched. I did try the forums, but it isn't the same as other forums such as this one. So I guess all I do on MAL is just keep track of anime. But I come here for the new friends I have made.

Idk where you got those but it wasn't from here lol... How could I forget?... I am still shaking ny head over that... XD Hm, a simple cup of joe with some sugar and creamer please... I like CSGO, New Wolrd, The forest, Garry's Mod and Magic the Gathering Mainly, I don't play many games anymore but maybe Ill get back into em.
