  2. Hello everyone So, I have been thinking of running this contest for a while now, and would like to see the interest in it before I run it. I'd like to have 5 contestants minimum, so please reply below if you are interested. This is also my way of seeing if there is any forum interest in opening a cosplay section on the forum as I am interested in having one. The contest will run for five days and will be judged by myself and the winners (1st, 2nd, and honorable mention) will be paid out or gifted from my points accounts a set amount for their efforts. If I recieve enough interest by Friday at 1pm EST the contest will commence with full rules, prizes, and guidelines being posted over the weekend. This is planned to be a multiday contest with a new challenge every day. Please only participate if you believe that you will be able to respond to five daily challenges. The challenges will be parts of an outfit, accessory, or likewise. I will not ask you to plan a full outfit on a challenge nor multiple accessories on a single day.

  3. I would second this. Though tbh I don't have much interest in (or time for) doing cosplay myself, I do enjoy seeing what other people come up with however. It isn't totally out of the question for me to do something myself if suitably motivated/provoked* either. I'd be happy to donate prize points or contribute in other ways. *It didn't come together, but I did consider being a Kerbal for Halloween at work for instance. It would have been a hoot to see people's reactions to seeing a Kerbal in the control room at JPL's SFOF.

  5. Dude that would be straight up LIT af. "How'd you get to the finish line so fast?!" "I got Instant transmission installed." Ssj car on the market would sell a heavy price i'm sure. It'd have to be worth billions right? Whoa you know what? Nevermind JUST the car. Do you realize what you could do with this power? Pfft. You could make crazy cash marketing your power correctly. If you turned yourself ssj, wouldn't your uh "mara" also be ssj by default? Nope. A ssj computer would naturally take the same damage as a ssj. Which MEANS if it survived it would get stronger. And i'm sure since you have the ssj touch you can easily survive a blast equal to ssj. I wouldn't worry much. Bro consoles and electronics are the BEST things to turn ssj. Think of it like this: It has ssj abilities so naturally if you drop it, and it survives it gets MORE durable. Though since a ssj in general is very durable damaging it enough to make it stronger could probably be an issue. A ssj gun. A standard ssj could easily dodge a bullet. So i would think a ssj gun would have the speed and power of a ssj. Dude one bullet with the same force as a saiyan alone could overturn a car. You making a automatic gun ssj is overkill. No one could dodge it. They couldn't dodge a normal bullet. And the dogs! If they aren't trained, when they bark they might big bang or kamehameha the neighbors. Things to think about here. For my part i was thinking any inanimate objects you touch would immediately grow 2 muscular arms with a glowing aura and golden hair. Hence your bed punching you. Touch a garbage disposal and it be like in Goku's voice: "I'm not just any garbage disposal...I'm a SUPER SAIYAN GARBAGE DISPOSAL!!!!" What's this? Your hungry? You want a burger? You try to pay with cash but just made your currency Ssj. The cashier takes the glowing powerful money which has grown 2 arms and golden hair: Goku's voice: "I'm not just any ordinary cash...I'M SUPER SAIYAN CASH!" What's that? They gave you the burger anyway? You're so hungry but you turned the wrapper AND the burger into a Ssj. Too bad. They're not just a regular wrapper and burger anymore.... Using the toilet? Super Saiyan. Hugging your mom? Super Saiyan. Your friend just pushed you into the Atlantic ocean? Super Saiyan. Fried chicken? Super Saiyan. Roadkill? Super Saiyan. Hospital? Super Saiyan. Your boss? Super Saiyan. Flowers for your spouse? Super Saiyan.

  7. I personalty would love to see a cosplay section in the future on AF, but perhaps not just for anime rather more for general cosplay which would cover anime, gaming, comics and beyond. Far as the contest is concerned I'd say sounds fun, but as I only have 2 cosplays myself presently and they are packed away at my parents house I won't be taking part this time. I will however keep a eye on this topic as well as the creative corner category idea as it seems to really being getting popular. In fact personally I think a cosplay forum section would fit rather nice in the Creative Corner category since it is itself a form of artistic expression. I do think the contest is a great idea and would also be good judge if we should add a contests forum section as well for future hopefully more regular contests.

  8. This is the second entry in a series on how to make your own web manga. Now that you have a story idea we can start expanding it. For the sake of continuity, let’s say my chosen story idea is: We have an idea. Not a story. In its current form, it’s useless. It doesn’t give us much information. We have to take it from concept to actualization. We can do this by adding structure. Basic Story Structure Every good story has a beginning, middle, and end. Think of your favorite movie, book, or anime. They all have that. It’s what separates a good story from a bad one. Stories that don’t follow this tend to be incomplete and confusing. Beginning Takeji is a nerdy highschool boy. He’s quite tall and gets bullied for it constantly. This makes him want to quit school. Middle One day he meets a transfer student named Hayato who is also tall. Hayato shows him an NBA game. This motivates Takeji to learn the sport of basketball. With Hayato’s help he gets ready to try out for his school’s basketball club. End Takeji makes the cut and is accepted into the club. However, he also realizes how far he is from making it into the NBA. He has a lot to improve on first. This was only the first step of his long journey. Try reading this story again but skip the middle part. Confusing isn’t it? Club? What club? He wants to make it in the NBA? But why? I thought he wanted to quit school? Try reading it without the end part. It feels unfinished right? It makes you want to know what happened next. Was that it? That’s the whole story? Did he make his school’s basketball club? What is the “Beginning” for? This is where you do the introductions. Where does your story take place? Show the time period and setting. Reveal the main character and side characters. Give a taste of what people can expect. What is the “Middle” for? This is where you tell your story. This part will be longer than the beginning and end. The climax (highlight) of the story takes place here. The middle is the part that people find the most exciting. What is the “End” for? This is where you wrap things up. And provide a satisfying ending. You can also setup a sequel here. Like what I did in my example. Your story’s message should have already been delivered at this point. Our story idea has now been transformed into a complete story. Albeit a very short story. Next stop is to flesh it out some more.

  9. Watched some Rurouni Kenshin last night, picking up where I last left off over the summer. I'm grateful that Netflix streams it, along with Inuyasha. Both of them are very nostalgic series for me. They still hold up surprisingly well even after all these years, though the animation looks kind of outdated.

  10. Right now, they are mostly milking the Dragon Ball franchise, so I am not too sure it is a good idea. In my head, the worst possible thing to do, aside from adapting the latest arc from Toyataro, who is not as great as people thought he was, would be if they adapted the new Broly movie, and I think that will very likely happen. Maybe they learned their lesson from BoG and Ressurection F, but I would not count on it.

  11. I have been a member of MAL since 2009. I find it to be a good place to keep track of all anime that I have watched. I did try the forums, but it isn't the same as other forums such as this one. So I guess all I do on MAL is just keep track of anime. But I come here for the new friends I have made.

  12. I've been playing Dragon Age Inquisition multiplayer and Fortnite because my awesome Bro Bro bought me a 3 month Playstation plus membership. I'm also in the process of downloading Raymen Legends for the Kiddo and the husband, and Beyond: Two Souls for me and the Husband because he played that Until Dawn game and really liked it. And I play on the PS4,
