  1. So, anything people are looking forward to? https://www.livechart.me/winter-2020/tv For me: Also Re:Zero season 1 is getting a re-broadcast/edit in preparation for season 2 in April. I’ll probably watch since it’s one of the Isekai Quartet titles I haven’t seen yet.

  2. People think shanks is the strongest yonko but they never saw him even fighting. Yes, I'm talking about when people put their yonko power rankings and its something like 1st - shanks, 2nd - kaido .. etc.. Why shanks first when you already know that Kaido is the strongest creature alive and when it's 1v1 u bet on kaido... In my opinion, the list goes like this 1. Kaido. 2. Big Mom. 3. Blackbeard. 4. Shanks. But you can disagree. Big Mom, in my opinion, is one of the most underrated characters in one piece. A lot of people think she is the weakest yonko while we have only seen her get hurt by her own attack ones. She was able to defeat a 300-year-old strongest giant with one hit as a 5-year-old without her fruit and even Pirate King Roger avoided fighting her and stole her poneglyph. She even clashed with Kaido for a time and the fact she has such a strong crew might even make her the strongest if we also are talking about there crew.

  3. Don't be fooled by the very first episode of fullmetal alchemist brotherhood, i suggest you watch atleast the first 5-6 episodes of it. Trust me it's worth it. Now, since you already watched Death Note, i have to recommend Code Geass and Monster. Personally, out of the two i prefer Code Geass because it's similar to Death Note in ways, especially if you're looking for those mind games and outsmarting your opponent. If you're looking for a more dark themed anime then Monster is for you, it has a great story and can be quite eerie. With that said however all of the above have less than a 100 episodes but they're worth watching.

  4. Natsunagu! I'm always up for a good slice of life anime and with only 3 minutes per episode, it's perfect for me. Isekai quartet 2 is not really something i'm looking forward to but the first one was fun to watch so there's that. Pet sounds interersting and the manga was recommended to me but i never really had the time to read it.

  6. Can’t honestly think of anything that checks all your boxes (especially the length) but will toss out some that might entertain you awhile. Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer) - a boys mother & siblings are slaughtered by demons and his surviving sister is no longer entirely human as a result. He sets out on a quest to try and change her back. Awesomely animated fight sequences with some scenes of extreme violence. However some of the supporting characters have very silly (cartoonish at times) characteristics. I fully expected to hate that aspect, but it won me over regardless. Only 26 episodes so far and the continuation will be a movie. Not sure where things will go from there. The Promised Neverland - a group of children isolated from the outside world learn a sinister secret about the orphanage they live in. Some very dark themes and imagery. The main characters are all children, but that actually makes it feel more tense. Season 1 (12 episodes) is more psychological than anything but may have more action next season (not till October 2020 unfortunately) Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress - zombie apocalypse in an Eastern steampunk setting. I got a kind of AOT vibe from it. Only 12 episodes & a movie sequel unfortunately. Not sure if there will be more or not.

  7. Quite specific things you are looking for Generally I don't think there will be too many 'shounen-like' anime with around 5 seasons that are kinda similar to what you have mentioned. There are of course the ones that are huge such as One Piece but they usually have quite a few filler episodes. Here are three that just came to mind, with some vague descriptions. I don't enjoy dark anime all that much, so they all might be too 'upbeat' for your taste. Hunter x Hunter. A kid thought his parents were dead but hears that his dad was still alive and was a great 'hunter' (something like people with special skills). He decides to become a hunter himself and find his dad, and on the way meets others who want to become hunters each with their own ability. It might be too upbeat at times for your taste maybe (especially since the protagonist is a kid), but it is quite serious in general. Yu Yu Hakusho. Rather old show where the main character is a delinquent who dies in the first episode but is offered life in exchange for working to beat supernatural beings. He then ventures on to fight more and more powerful foes. This can be silly at times, especially in the beginning, so not sure how well it fits. Maybe also, My Hero Academia. This is quite popular right now and is still running in its fourth season. It's about a world where people have super powers (quirks) but the protagonist doesn't really have one. He gets one and learns that the strongest superhero is losing his powers, and someone will have to fight the villains. This is not that serious overall, but it gets quite serious at times.

  9. Not gonna lie, I thought this winter was going to be slow for anime but I'm so glad to be wrong. Obviously at the top of the list is Boku no Hero Academia, it's just something about seeing each hero develop that makes me want more. Second is Haikyuu!!: To the Top, I fell of this anime awhile back but than binged all the way to the latest season and now I want more. Ahiru no Sora!!!!!! is one of the best new anime to come out that people don't know about, can't wait until they find out so I can say "I knew it was good" LOL. ID:INVADED is next on the list, the illustrations look good and I've been in need of a good mystery anime. Lastly is Radiant, I never saw season one but I've always wanted too.

  10. It’s being described as a side-story rather than an actual sequel and I believe is based on a mobile game, but Madoka, Homura & Kyubey all have roles to play so I’m definitely curious. The PV looks like it could be Yuru Camp but with star gazing instead of camping, so yeah I’ll be checking it out too. This one is getting into some deeper territory as the season draws to close and is becoming one of my favorites. IMO it’s doing right what If It’s for my Daughter ... did wrong. As far as some other cute girl series from this season, Average Abilities isekai & After School Dice Club are at least fairly enjoyable.

  11. Pet is the anime I'm anticipating the most. The producers of this anime are Twin Engine, they have produced great shows this year like Dororo, Vinland saga and Babylon. So I have high expectations for Pet.

  12. No idea yet. I'm usually at least a season behind, binge-watching the last season and whatever else takes my fancy. Right now I'm still waiting for Bookworm to finish so that's about where I am in the greater flow of anime. Of the ones you listed I kind of liked Yuru Camp so Heya will probably get a watch. I've also heard of one called Koisuru Shouwakusei coming up. Not sure when it is coming out but it is astronomy-themed and sounds vaguely like Sora no Manimani, which I kind of liked. I'll probably check that out. Other than that.. not a clue. Nothing's really grabbed my fancy in the last few seasons. SF seems to have taken a back seat to .. pretty much everything else really. Not that I'd mind another Mahoutsukai no Yome of course, but that's not happening either.
