  1. Definitely feeling weird with how things are going right now. Looking forward to some more normalcy here hopefully soon. Its also been such a busy week, I feel out of the loop. Out of the life loop haha. I hope everyone is doing alright and taking care of themselves. Take this time to re-eval life Here's a creepy cat dog thing to add to this strange day.

  2. Going to place under spoilers so that none of your precious eyes fall out, looking upon this wall of text. @Anime loveer @RZ. @The History Kid Lastly, I love you all. It's easy to overlook the types of struggles we're going through, individually. Not from intended neglect but because we're out here, trying to do our thing as best as we can. Your toils are recognized! Big or small.

  3. This is totally me too. I don't do debt either, including credit cards. (Well, I do because you basically have to use cards these days but I pay it ALL off every month.) I even managed to pay cash for my car this last time. Yes, it takes discipline and the willingness to go against a lot of social norms, but in the end not playing by the banksters rules is worth it.

  4. wow, my computer lagged.... "Banff Springs Hotel, room 873 — it’s allegedly been sealed off after renovations and hotel management have long denied that the hotel is haunted. Legend has it long ago, a family was brutally murdered in the room, but when the police investigation was finished, the room was redecorated and opened up to guests. That didn’t last long. People staying in room 873 have reported being woken up in the middle of the night to screams, flickering lights, and the sight of bloody hand prints on the walls and mirrors of the room." They do haunted tours there too. I to

  7. One positive that is coming out of this that I've noticed among friends & coworkers, is that those of us who still have an income coming in & getting more serious than ever about saving up. I listen to a lot of personal finance podcasts & such & have been working on improving my financial well being for a while now. I drive an older car that is completely paid off, I eat at home the majority of the time, & I could care less about dressing a certain way or having certain things to impress strangers. I've been laughed at & teased on more occasions than I care to remember

  8. That's really incredible of you! Take those proper precautions, gloves, sanitizing things that have been touched. I agree though, the feeling of dread really is becoming more palpable. I was discussing this with my mom the other day actually. Some people aren't taking the virus serious enough to monitor what they are cleaning, how they are handling themselves, are you blocking that cough? And then, you start to notice the numbers rise as the people start getting ill closer and closer to where you live, and then its there and you start to see transportation change, companies closing down,

  9. Me and some of my coworkers have gotten together to come up with ways that we can provide help to our local homeless shelters. We've gathered what we can at local stores & are ordering the rest online to be delivered directly to the shelters in case we can't get out by the time they get shipped. Lots of people getting laid off in my city & it has me more than a bit concerned. There's just this persistent feeling of dread that just keeps getting heavier & heavier as the number of cases in my area grows. I'm just very thankful that I've really started taking my heal

  10. Yes, I was coming home one evening after picking up some food & a woman ran into the back of my car. Luckily, neither of us got hurt & there was very little damage done to both vehicles. What is a scary urban legend from where you're from?

  12. Just had a meeting at work last Thursday mainly on the updates of the Corona Virus and at that specific time only the schools had the potential to be affected. However, steadily it's been getting worse and worse and the U.S. Government is now creating more restrictions and bans making it extremely difficult for most people to even continue working. Apparently the Governor in my state changed our restrictions and bans 15 times within a few short hours today. So far it hasn't effected my job to where I won't be able to work but most of those around me are now without work because everything is c

  14. I'll guess number three. @Nyxnine it actually is three. I have driven a car but not legally. the reason is mostly that I live in a city with public transport that is much faster than taking a car through traffic, so I never needed it. During my work in laboratories 1. I've purposely drunk a substance in the lab used for experiments 2. I've purposely sabotages someone else's experiment 3. I've lost my eyesight in one of my eyes in an accident

  19. So, here I sit - after what we've come to know was a near-miss today in my county with Death-Virus 2020. I've been reading a lot of posts and comments on social media the last few days, and just holding my head for most of them. A few voice actors I follow are in full-panic mode "I worry for the future", and "I don't know how long things will be this way, we've never dealt with anything like it before." STOP I'll be blunt, I quoted Christina Vee and Erika Harlacher for those - and not only are they not leveraged in any sense of reason, they're also not rooted in any sense of fact.

  20. I think everyone by now had heard of the virus . Staying at home is pretty boring , all i can pretty much do is , be on my computer , watching anime or youtube , reading or drawing . All of times are like eating , sleeping or doing work . It canceled a lot of things , like a trip that was supposed to be today for me . Just saying , everyone , Stay safe , and find something to do ,and very importantly . DON"t be with people who are sick !!

  22. What ticks me off the most about this so called "panic" buying is that none of it is really out of "panic". If you're panicking in anticipation of an apocalypse then surely you'll go for whatever you can get your hands on. People are still choosy though. My local supermarket is completely sold out of milk chocolate biscuits, but the less popular dark chocolate ones are plentiful. All the expensive, highly quality cheeses have gone, but the cheaper ones are still in stock. It's nothing but pure greed. Hopefully they spend themselves into oblivion.

Legend of the Galactic Heroes or Kurau Phantom Memory - If we're talking pure Sci-Fi. Full Metal Panic, Neon-Genesis Evangelion, Soukyuu no Fafner, Aldnoah.Zero - if you're in mechas. Hope that helps

  25. Canada has gotten worse - mainly those who are being laid off from their companies because of the outbreak. Gold: Toilet paper, hand sanitizer Silver: Canned goods, water bottles, pre-packed meals People are self isolating, BC, AB and ON are the worst. The grocery stores have created person limits on certain items and are only allowing a certain amount of people in the store at a time. Most businesses have closed, all gov. places are closed, workout places and schools are closed. Some store/restaurants are open but at limited capacities. Borders are closed, states border

I generally frost them with either melted candy bars or devil's food fudge pudding first & them top with the crushed cookies. I haven't made one of these treats in almost a year since I've been working on losing weight & being more active but believe you me, I am looking very much forward to making them again!

  29. We got served the biggest crackdown of restrictions I think that's been seen yet earlier today when they shut down all public spaces excluding outdoor recreation and sales vendors today. Then amidst all of this, there are numerous companies posting suspensions on payment programs, interest charges, etc. On top of that, it sounds like federal stipends are in the works too. There were a large number of closures issued on post today, but I don't imagine the restrictions on our day-to-day will get much beyond what we have currently. I look for them to put 75% of the workforce on remote-dut

  30. I suppose one of the things I should probably work on is accepting certain things as good enough. If I had a nickle for every time I've gotten a "keep that up and you're gonna get killed" lecture...should work on that too. They're related too, I'm sure. Perfectionism is not always a good thing, especially in a field where things explode and are on fire more than 50% of the time.

  31. Depending on where you are, there's still plenty you can do. Especially to make things seem a lot less restrictive. Iowa currently has one of the tightest restrictions in the U.S. - it isn't stopping people from going out for walks, jogs, hikes, etc. Actually, I've been seeing a lot more of that lately. That was probably the greatest indication to me that things weren't quite as abnormal as I had previously thought. Interesting times, but they don't have to be as scary as government, news, and other people make you think they are. Don't even get me started on the people claiming "unp

  32. People who are high in creativity, which many here are, tend to be interested in lots of things and flick between those interests quickly. I'm interested in everything (literally) and it's very hard for me to maintain a passionate focus on any one thing. The other week I was fixated on work for my degree, before that I was spending 5-6 hours a day world building, at Christmas I was at home dabbling in music for days on end, right now I'm way too focused on my video games . Sometimes I want to study philosophy, a few days later it's building something in Minecraft. Finding a routin
