This isn't the first time I've had dolls of anime characters (I have others of my OCs, some of those are on my profile and I may make a blog out of the photoshoots I do at some point) but it is my first canon character. I commissioned a nendoroid style head and used an Obitsu11 body, which I then very horribly put his tattoos on lol. I can't get over how heckin cute he is ‧º·(˚ ˃̣̣̥⌓˂̣̣̥ )‧º·˚ the panda slippers!! It's too much x_x

The size of that heat sink is crazy. As GPU power, and heat, increases there soon won't be room inside the computer case for the heat sink !

In other news, water-cooled GPUs also seem to be a thing at computex. Unfortunately. I tried water-cooling the CPU in my old FX-based system. It worked, but there are issues, including maintenance & reliability. To me it is the sort of thing you resort to when all else has failed. (Or if you just want bragging rights.. kind of like those people with 9Ghz CPUs cooled by by liquid nitrogen.) Ok, but for the real world we need better solutions. And look at the size of the heat sinks on the PCI 5.0 SSDs! Not happy if this is the direction the industry is going.

True. I’m not exactly a bleeding-edge kind of guy when it comes to actually purchasing computer-related bits of kit either. My current system is still using a 2nd generation ryzen 2700X and 3200mHz DDR4 memory for example. The memory in my system I've overclocked to 4K (though for power and stability reasons I'm currently running it at 3200) and the way DDR5 memory is clocked a DDR5 speed of 8K is somewhat comparable to my DDR4 memory’s 4K, at least in terms of some of the latency timings. I’ve been waiting for 8K DDR5 memory to come out because in my mind that’s the point at which the DDR5 memory becomes faster in all respects than the DDR4 memory that I currently have installed in my main system here. Now it is just a matter of getting that price down to something that won’t flatten my wallet too severely.

Hi there! Partner here. I am really hoping that someone in this amazing anime community can help me. I really loved the anime that I am trying to find... I'm quite annoyed with myself that I forgot what it was called.. It was my teenage hood favorite. The anime is quite old. I am gonna say I probably watched it 2015-2017 (maybe older). It was about this boy in an all boys school, goes on a school trip. An all girls school ends up on the same trip. There loads of funny comedy and drama between this guy and his 2 friends vs the girls (quite a few female characters). Slowly all the girls become very fond of him over time. You get to know majority of the female character. That's not the main story. The main story is that this girl from the future come back in time and appears on the school bus and in the girls uniform. No one knows where she came from but assumes she was there the whole time but did not notice. She comes back in time to be with the main boy character.. as they were lovers in another life. They eventually fall in love again and remember their past life together. Their first life together isn't really shown much. they get a second chance! The universe does not approve of their second chance. He gets hurt and the only way to save him is for her to go back to the future. he will forget her again. Which is how it ends. there was also a side story about this place on the school trip about this lady who waited for her husband to return and he never did. Famous cliff monument. The anime had a lot going on in it... - school trip boy and girls drama + comedy - romance and crushes - Lovers reincarnated and reunited with a second chance. - Old cliff side story Any help finding this old anime would be appreciated. None of my friends can seem to find it

Awesome indeed. My best friend in grade school’s mom took a van load of us kids to see Return of the Jedi at the cinema when it first came out. One of my favorite childhood memories (along with seeing Superman 2, Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan & Raiders of the Lost Ark in similar situations). The 80’s were a great time to be a kid/teenager. Still pissed off that George thought he needed to “improve” the original trilogy by adding CGI scenes when they were re-released in theaters & blacklisted the original versions As for myself, just got back from seeing Across the Spiderverse. Definitely a visual spectacle, unfortunately felt like there were times the visuals were more important than telling a coherent story.

I'm hearing that DDR5-8000 and -8800 memory kits have been shown off at Computex 2023. Not shipping yet as far as I can tell tho, and no word on price.

When they were first released my late father and I went to see the first three Star Wars films on the Big Screen at our local cinema and they looked awesome.

Star Wars: Return of the Jedi Decent effects for the 80s. Still wonder what it'd be like in the theater though when it first came out.
