I was thinking about watching this. Why do you like it? What is cool about it? Charlotte. Well, not wishing to give too much away, it's about a lot of middle and high school students who all have some form of supernatural ability, or may develop one. What I like about it is that instead of the usual plot about them being members of a special school to learn how to use their abilities, they're there for their own protection. The school's student council members often go out to find ability users and either recruit them into the school or persuade them not to use their abilities because if they do it may cost them their lives. It could be said that it's a slice of life series, but it's a long way away from the usual SoL school series. There's a Sci-Fi element underlying the story and some of the episodes contain a quite a bit of violence. Overall, it has an intriguing and serious storyline, but not one totally lacking in humorous moments, however it is rather different and goes in a direction you might not expect.

I ordered Wendy's, It's Wednesday so I figured, taco Tuesday, Wednesday Wendy's or at least that's how I justified spending $40 dollars on DoorDash lol, but the chili cheese fries were good!

I got another Hunter level today, 72 now. Closer to the 80 goal and close to a 2000 total level on OSRS.

Hanging about with some old armor! Up until a few years ago these were running but over time parts got hard to find and now they are out front a mil surplus company near me. They used ride the one below with the rubber track feet in parades with people dressed up in period gear. Sadly no pictures of it running that I know of.

Created a stealth assassin build in Fallout 4. Wanted to try a different play-style from my black-ops build. Instead of using guns to sweep through areas, now I get up close and personal with blades and melee weapons. It's pretty challenging in the early game, but the more I level, the better the damage multiplier and stealth perks I can choose from. I find that it's a pretty balanced build though, because if I'm ever discovered by enemies, my character doesn't have a high endurance level, so they can be killed pretty easily without being properly armored if dealing with a lot of enemies at once.

Please note that the plugin I list doesn't prevent thumbnail ads on the front page, and that video ads are just skipped really fast after popping up on screen. This can be jarring depending on your own personal preferences. In recent news, YouTube has decided that all adblock plugins are no longer kosher. The bastards have gone out of their way to block their video player for any users detected using them. In my testing, it also prevents usage of tracker blockers such as Privacy Badger. This marks yet another degradation of legacy sites most of the world uses on a more than regular basis. YouTube is known for implementing horrible decisions for years, this being the latest in a long line of them. Being a website made in the heyday of mid aughts tech boom, and created in a much less corporatized internet ecosystem, this just marks another die off of legacy users to the site. It also marks a recent trend in legacy web 2.0 sites, which make zero profit from decades of being run under the idea that, one day, hosting thousands of terabytes of data will eventually be profitable. YouTube as a company never made money, from its beginning days to its entire history under Google ownership. These sites thrived through angel investors keeping the doors open under the idea that, because they have such a large userbase of so many people, the site would (eventually) be profitable. A slowdown in receiving investor money in recent years (due to a loss in faith in big tech as a whole) has caused these sites to go into full panic mode and do anything to make as much money as possible in order to bring the investors back. Twitter charging a dollar a year, and Reddit pay walling their API access are further examples of corporate sites ruining user experience for the sake of squeezing a few more dollars out of their user base. Those inclined enough have made work arounds which (at the time of writing) work to prevent further ad bombardment. I, personally, have taken to using RemoveAdblockThing, a plugin for tamper monkey. I also use a plugin which reimplements the dislikes counter. I tested several other methods around and found this one to be the simplest to implement, and results in the most consistent blocking experience. I highly recommend doing research on the topic and finding a method that works best for you, personally. The early implementation of this has left a lot of room for bypassing this, and it will only become more difficult to do so over time.

I encountered the "Ad-blockers are not allowed on YouTube" pop-up yesterday evening and found that if I just closed the pop-up window, by using the normal red X 'close window' method, the pop-up closed and the video played as normal without ads. YouTube/Google will probably fix that 'bug' soon.

Didn't do a whole lot of gaming over the weekend. I did however start the new Harvest Moon today.

This magnificent locomotive came thundering through my local station at the weekend hauling a steam excursion from London to Winchester. It's a Southern Railway rebuilt West Country class no.34046 "Braunton". She was built in 1946 at the Southern Railway's Brighton Works and withdrawn from service in 1965 and sent to the scrapyard. She was purchased in 1996 by a heritage railway society and after a major restoration project steamed again in 2007.

Hello everyone! I decided to try taking night photos. I was freezing that night, so I want to try taking some summer night photos

This is a photo I took of Natural Bridge in Virginia when my brother and I visited in mid-2021. The bridge stands 215 feet tall (about 65.5 meters), and was carved out by erosion from Cedar Creek. You can get a feel of how big it is from seeing the people walking under it in the photo, but I must say, photos don't do it any justice. It's a great place to take a day-trip if you live near Virginia. More information on the landmark is here, in case anyone is interested.
