Last week was a pancake phase, this week it's waffles I watched The Goonies movies with @Jellal on Discord idk why we are watching 80s movies this week together but we are and I love it. Tomorrow is Stand By Me and over the weekend we are gonna watch The Mist which is a Stephen King movie that I surprisingly haven't seen. I talked to my sister for awhile on the phone who ended up taking a trip detour with her friend and they are in New York lmao I mean may as well, it's Summer, have fun

Kinda hyped about Friday being 4th of July, which for people outside of America it's a day we celebrate America being America and the hospital visits go up 100000000% with people doing dumb things with fireworks all night BUT they are having a huge firework show downtown and since I am right in the middle of downtown we can just go up on our roof and watch them or on our balcony. Prolly the roof because our apartment community is having a 4th party and there is FREE FOOD. So yeah, I've been thinking about this all day and I'm excited/ready to see fireworks ~

I had a half day today with work and took off the rest of the evening. It wasn't for anything fun I just had a dentist checkup appointment and teeth cleaning.

It's hot and muggy, and I was messing around and came up with this.

Ya same honestly ~ I would rather watch than read, even though I used to be the opposite of that >_> I think it comes down to the fact that I also watch a lot of anime or shows while playing games too so it's more convenient to watch it one one screen and play something on the other since time is limited I get more out of watching over reading too these days

Cool I didn't know we had a club

This morning I went out to get the week's groceries. It was later than I would have liked because I overslept and it had got hotter by the time I was ready to go out, no complaints as I had a good nights sleep. I'm not planning on doing anything other than watching some anime and YT stuff and messing about on my PC. It's WAYYYYYYY to hot to go out side or do any energetic.

NOPEEEE COULDN'T BE ME LOL ~ I think I would get terrified which is weird because I really didn't use to be scared of heights the way I am now. I get scared on the balcony sometimes, I'm getting better at it but just heights freak me out anymore. Wondering how I'd do on a ski lift now because I used to ride them a lot when I was younger and enjoyed it but I think I'd be scared to death now

I've had a good day and I feel alright.

Quiet days in print rooms are like gold dust and should be savoured to the full ---- Today my friendly handyman came round to repair the hole in my bathroom sinks waste pipe. So now the water will go down the drain not down onto the back doorstep . Other than that' I've done nothing because it's been too hot and muggy.

Halfway through the work day! So far this morning I printed some duplicate forms and glued them together, also printed and cut some tags for one of the business just down the street from us, and then I spent the rest of the morning working on trimming down a bunch of booklets/brochures for an adventure school. Still need to finish cutting them, but that will be sometime after lunch. Tomorrow is Canada Day, so we’ll be closed. It seems like a lot of other businesses have decided to close for both today and tomorrow though, it’s been an extremely quiet Monday so far haha. I like it

I read occassionally but it has to be something I'm very interested in otherwise I would much prefer to just watch the anime. It's easier and a better experience for me to watch than reading. Watching is also something I can do while doing something else such as playing a game or being online and it helps kill the boredom when I'm doing some mundane task in a game. For these reasons I just all around prefer the experience of watching to reading.

It's one of my favorites when we're talking about Japanese drinks. If you like cream soda you'll most likely enjoy this one.

Before we get into this I just wanted to say hi guys. Just checking in to let you know I'm still alive . It's been a year or two and I forgot this place existed if I'm being completely honest with you so I wanted to come back on here and pick up where we left off. I'm pleasantly surprised to see that this place has grown significantly since the last time I was on here, but with that out of the way let's continue.

I was feeling lousy earlier. Allergies were bothering me. Don't worry though. I'm feeling better now.

I don't really like elevators very much and I'm glad i don't have to use them often.

Unfortunately the ending didn’t really have the emotional impact that was intended for me (6.5/10). Don’t really get the people I’ve seen saying it’s better than the main series. Supposed to continue next year, but not very high of a priority for me. Final ep of Apothecary Diaries 2 is Friday, will at least start Kowloon Generic Romance by then. Summer season shows don’t really become a factor for me until Saturday (7/5)

You have my sympathies. One of the thing I really don't like is going to the dentist. When I was younger I had some nasty experiences with dentists, my current dentist is a nice guy and a good dentist, I even changed from being an NHS patient to a private patient just so I could keep him as my dentist. I'm sure you had a great time with the seals. I think US waffles are a bit different to what we call waffles as I can't imagine anyone eating them on their own. Knowing how much your sister likes New York this doesn't surprise me.

Yes, it was a bit, but it's an enclosed car so there's no danger that you'd fall out. What I found really scary was a couple of years back when I rode the Lynton & Lynmouth cliff railway and to get a god shot of the ride I went out onto the open veranda, camcorder in one hand other hand locked very firmly on the railings. But it was worth it I got some great footage.

I read manga a lot maybe more than I watch anime because most of the stories I like to read haven't been made into an anime yet and are only available in a manga. I read when we're driving somewhere or sitting and waiting for my siblings or mom and it's easier for me to read than watch in that case. I also find holding a book and reading comforting.

I used to read manga a lot more than I do now but the main reason for this is not because I don't still enjoy manga it's because I lack a lot of time that I used to have as a teen. Normally I work a lot and reading manga isn't my top priority whereas watching anime more is with free time. I do still follow 1 or 2 mangas that I try to catch up with here and there just not reading anymore to the extent that I used to do. I still like manga and if I had more time I would.

I guess you'll be on this use of using c4d awhile now?

I like the fact I can get lost in stories too like @Ayame mentioned ~ and it's also been kinda a family thing for me too like @Shinzi mentioned since my dad and my sister both watch it and we all kinda connect over that and something we've shared as a family. It's more interesting to me than normal TV usually because I don't watch a lot of non-anime shows though it's hard to pinpoint exactly why that is. It's been something that I've watched practically my whole life so I guess it's just something that's a part of who I am at this point now lol
