I need to get my sleep schedule a bit more in order, it's been really bad lately, staying up until 6 or 7 am. I guess it doesn't matter so much since I'm more of a night person myself and there isn't really anything to do but it feels like I should be going to bed a bit more earlier. That will be a problem I'll try to sort on Monday. For today I got up late and stayed in, ordered some food, played Runescape, did much of nothing.3 points

NO!! I won't let Jase lock my best friend in his weird little house! (。ヘ°) I don't know if you can be locked in them but I've been to my friends player owned houses and there were dungeons in them with crazy rooms and monsters щ(´Д`щ) Maybe Jase and Serey got a lil too carried with roleplaying ehehehe 。(*^▽^*)ゞ3 points

Def pancakes. I like to make a bunch of them ahead of time, eat some, and put the rest in the freezer so I can take a couple out and heat them in the microwave for a quickie breakfast when I'm in a rush to get to work. I've also been known to take a couple frozen ones and mash a scoop of ice cream between them to make an ice cream sandwich.3 points

I'm the same way @Colu I like them both but I'll prolly grab a pancake first. Someone's gotta hold the waffle fort down though and that's you I think XD2 points

As with pancakes I will certainly eat any waffles that stray within arms reach. It is just that I would eat all the pancakes first.2 points

I always seem to be around at the start of the day lately, so I’ll share what I did yesterday instead lol Actually not a whole lot honestly. Played Among Us and did a voice chat with some people for a few hours yesterday. Hung out on the porch for awhile. After Andy got home from work we just relaxed for a little while. Then we watched a movie, Rock & Rule2 points

Like Jellal I need to get my sleep schedule sorted out, but it's not easy with this hot weather. Yesterday I went to bed at 11:30pm and didn't wake up until 6am today so I was pleased with that. We certainly do, but the 5 hour time difference raises an interesting question of who is keeping who awake. 9pm for you is 2am for me while 7am for me is 2am for you2 points

You and I both @.@ We are keeping each other up late though LOL I keep you up till who knows when then I stay up too because we keep talking so both our schedules are soooo messed up ~ but yeah total night person too so staying up until 3 or 4 or whatever is fine with me. Especially more in the Summer because I'd rather sleep the hot day away x.x ~ I finished some quests on Runescape today but I didn't do much outside of the house. The heat was just wayyy too much ;-; We have some interesting convos2 points

I WANT ICE CREAMMMM or something,.. it's late though I probably shouldn't be eating that. I feel alright though!2 points

One Piece. I thought the art style was weird and I wasn't going to like it but than I watched it and the characters made it appealing. Jojo's Bizzarre Adventure. It seem like an over the top anime but after watching more of it I thought it was creative. Black Clover. I thought would be just another generic Shounen but the characters had pretty solid development and the fights were pretty good too. Clannad. Another I thought was just a generic anime, harem style, slow start, but the ending really got me and I love this anime now.2 points

Oh yes, there's all sorts of things that bear on prices. The art on them is one of the big factors. It changes occasionally and some designs - or artists - are more popular than others. Certain years are considered more desirable just for the year.. coins minted in 1969 (the year of the first Apollo moon landing) or 1963 (JFK assassination) do get a price bump for example. The number of coins minted every year is different as well, so coins from certain years are just more or less rare compared to others. For gold coins one of the big factors was that prior to 1933 the US was on a gold standard, meaning gold was actually used as everyday money. But then in 1933 the government was looking for money to help get through the Great Depression. The government stopped minting gold coins and passed a law requiring everyone to exchange all the gold in circulation with I.O.Us (paper dollars). The coins were then melted down into bullion to give to the banks. The only coins that escaped were ones that were lost, illegally hidden from exchange/confiscation, or in foreign possession out of the country. Even a lot of coins in foreign possession were voluntarily returned for exchange. The law also made it illegal for any US citizen to own pretty much any gold. Some exceptions were made for pre-1933 foreign coins that had numismatic value, but basically private possession of gold was outlawed. That also caused a huge drop in the demand for gold worldwide, which in turn caused a bit of a drop in gold prices, and a lot of selling of gold (buying of other assets). A lot of gold coins worldwide, even foreign ones, were also melted down and turned in to bullion. Needless to say all this made any gold coins from pre-1933 relatively scarce. The St Gaudens coin you were talking about was probably from 1932 or 1933. Those had been minted but not yet released to circulation when the law recalling all gold was passed, making them illegal to own. It wasn't until I think President Ford passed a law allowing US citizens to own gold again that any gold coins started coming back to the US, but of course even then they were relatively rare, with a commensurate price premium. The other big factor for gold (and silver) coin prices has been that it is a lot easier to create inflation by Congressional overspending and Fed interest rate manipulation when everyone is using paper as money. They've done a lot of both in the decades since 1933. (Especially recently!!) So much so that by now the dollar is so worthless that something like a St. Gaudens that had a $20 face value back then is now priced at $3300 just on metal content alone, before any collectable consideration whatsoever. Some people buy gold and silver coins exclusively for the gold and silver, as a hedge against such inflation. As an aside on inflation, even in my own lifetime I remember as a kid my mom giving me a $5 bill to go pick up some groceries for her on the way home from school. This was the 70s. Back then a loaf of bread was about 20 cents. Eggs were about 80 cents/dozen. Milk was about $1.50/gal. I'd skim off about 15 cents for a candy bar or ice cream cone for my services. In todays-dollar terms that would be about $3, $5, and $5, respectively, based on Ralphs/Krogers prices. (That's with modern food production and preservation techniques too. Back then most everything was still what today would be marketed as "organic", "non-GMO", or "fresh" - with a corresponding price premium.) That Morgan dollar that I posted on the other day is now worth about $28. Two or three of them would STILL buy enough of those staples for a week. Hmmm.. I wonder if I can convince my boss to pay me in silver dollars, like they did in the old days.2 points

Konosuba for me too. I don't like a lot of harem but something about it is very funny and I ended up thinking it was a great anime (n˘v˘•)¬1 point

Well done for getting the homework done, I didn't like homework when I was in school. -- I've not done much today so far. I woke up at silly o'clock and couldn't get back to sleep so I spent a few hours talking to sakura on Disc and doing a bit of GFX1 point

A few I disliked until I got into them - Konosuba Bocchi the Rock Code Geass Sword Art Online Golden Time I had a sort of love/hate relationship with One Piece in the beginning when I started watching it. I hated the fact that it was so long and figured I'd never finish it but now I'm pretty well into it and a fan. There's probably been a lot more anime I've disliked at first and then enjoyed but these are the ones I remember off the top of my head.1 point
