  1. What browser do you guys use? I usually use Chrome but I just downloaded and I'm trying out Opera GX, a few people said it was better. Anyway what do you use and why? What one do you think is the best?

  2. I haven't done much recently, but @Sakura has got me into watching Natsume's Book of Friends and I sort of had an idea to do something based on it.

  3. We have one here too, though I think it's going to be worse where you are.. They said originally here something like 9 inches, now it says around 3, idk it'll probably either be 1 inch or 100 inches with that typa forecast. We got some sleet last night and some slushie snow this morning, but they are calling whatever is happening Sunday-Monday a "major coastal storm". Guess we'll see.

  4. I had a project due in school which I think I did okay on. The teacher was impressed so we should've gotten a nice enough grade. I took a nap when I got home and I'm going to play games now. Its too cold to really do anything outside this weekend.

  8. I haven't been awhile, there just hasn't been anything worth seeing and partly because things are available to stream at home pretty fast these days.. It's 14 or 15 dollars to go watch at the theater I can't remember exactly but it's getting a little costly and food is more expensive than the tickets. That sucks because I like getting something to eat there but I also don't want to pay 8 dollars for a candy bar or 12 dollars for some half cold nachos.

  9. I'm torn because I'm a big Batman fan but I'm also a big fan of a lot of Marvel characters. I guess I'd pick DC though.

  16. The local news has a report that it was raining so hard in the Santa Monica area yesterday that one of the flood control channels near where the Palisades fire burned was undercut by the water and severely damaged. Basically the concrete lining the bottom of the channel was ripped up and deposited in a pile downstream. The Palisades fire wasn't anywhere near me but the Eaton fire was and we have basically the same kinds of channels around here.

  20. Today's blog is going to be about one of the strangest creatures inhabiting the ocean - the goblin shark. With its elongated snout, pale skin, and a jaw that can snap forward in an instant, it looks more like something from a science fiction movie than a real fish that should be in the ocean. This lil guy is rarely seen and not a lot is known about it, yet this mysterious shark has been swimming in our oceans for over 125 million years, earning its nickname as a “living fossil.” They are from an ancient family called the Mitsukurinidae family from the early Cretaceous period, and they haven't changed much since they coexisted right along side the dinosaurs and are the last remaining species of their kind. Why haven't they changed much in millions of years? That's due to their habitat - living in the deep sea - an environment that is incredibly stable compared to the surface world. Down there, temperatures are cold, light is nearly nonexistent, and conditions don’t fluctuate dramatically over time. When an environment stays consistent for millions of years, animals that are already well adapted to it don’t face strong evolutionary pressure to change, thus is the case for the goblin shark. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ A few quick facts about the goblin shark species: Goblin sharks live in deep water, usually 300–4,000 feet below the surface. Their skin looks pink because their blood vessels show through their semi-transparent skin. They have a long, flattened snout filled with electroreceptors that help them detect prey in total darkness. Their jaws can shoot forward in less than a second to grab prey. This makes it one of the fastest jaw projections among sharks. They mainly eat deep-sea fish, squid, and crustaceans. Goblin sharks can grow up to about 10–13 feet long, though most are smaller. They are rarely seen alive because they live so deep in the ocean. The first goblin shark was discovered off the coast of Japan in 1898. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The goblin shark is a big reminder about how much we don't know about our planet, or the species that reside here along side us. Living close to 125 million years, but never seen by human eyes until little over a hundred years ago, and living at such depths that they are still rarely seen today. Pictures and information about them are extremely rare, and most of what scientists understand comes from the few specimens accidentally caught in deep sea fishing nets. Until technology allows us to explore the deep ocean more freely, the goblin shark will likely remain one of the sea’s most mysterious and least understood predators. Although the goblin shark may look intimidating, it poses no real threat to humans. Its survival across millions of years highlights how stable and mysterious the deep ocean environment truly is. Studying species like the goblin shark not only helps scientists understand marine ecosystems, but also reminds us of the importance of protecting habitats we don't know all that much about yet.

  41. I haven't heard the ones you've mentioned I'm going to look them up though and listen to them I like a lot of old poets like Edgar Allen Poe, Emily Dickinson, Robert Frost, and I honestly love Shakespeare so much. I think I've read everything related to Shakespeare that there is and I like going to plays that center around his works too ~ Some of my favorites are: Quand vous serez bien vieille - Pierre de Ronsard Salut d'amour - Edward Elgar She Walks in Beauty - Lord Byron Fire & Ice - Robert Frost The Raven - Edgar Allan Poe Demain, dès l’aube - Victor Hugo Song of Myself - Walt Whitman There Will Come Soft Rains - Sara Teasdale Chanson d’automne - Paul Verlaine Sonnet 18 - William Shakespeare I Carry Your Heart With Me - E. E. Cummings I Think I Should Have Loved You Presently - Edna St. Vincent Millay Love Song - Rainer Maria Rilke Alive Together - Lisel Mueller So this is some of my top ones ~ I like a lot of French poetry mostly to do with because I think it sounds beautiful lol

  42. I'm probably bias in the sense that I don't read much poetry unless my friends write it and it always sounds like the best thing ever wrote to me. I never had talent for poetry but I enjoy reading it when people share it. There is one particular poem I've heard that I did remember and enjoy was called "Love After Love" by Derek Walcott which talks about self-love and acceptance and that stuck with me.

  44. I think the TL;DR of that is just follow the recommended password security advice from the website and don't tell anyone your username info and you'll be fine I have never once been hacked or had any issue nor do I know anyone that has for that matter. The main thing you have to worry about is people in-game trying to scam you for your items once you get items actually worth anything. For instance whenever I walk around with a scythe or T-bow I get loads of people trying to scam me since those are 2 of the most expensive items in the game. When I walk around with some basic stuff on no one even knows I exist lol Avoid in-game scamming is just don't give people your items and double check all trades which is pretty much just basic safety precautions on any MMO. Don't give an item to someone if you don't wanna run the risk of losing it. For instance I remember many years ago back on what's now RS3 I let a friend borrow my santa hat. Which was only worth about 5M but it was a "rare" in game at that time. I had known this person awhile and even talked to them all the time on MSN Messenger but they logged out with my item, blocked me, and I never saw it again lol. Lesson was learned about trusting people.

  47. I'm still a quest person and I'm the weird kind who also likes to read all of the dialogue instead of skipping through it and following a guide, or do the quest the day it comes out without a guide is also more fun for me.
