I'm at 252 KC right now and so far no pet but I've green logged everything else. I've got the cow slipper drop x2, bottomless milk bucket 5+ times, Mooleta 6+ times and I stopped picking those up because I don't want or even need those item lol Just wanted the cow slippers and the pet.

Chilled out and relaxed

I still don't have school because of the snow but I did help my dad with some more of the snow today. We have a path dug to the driveway and the driveway clear enough to walk down. It feels like walking through a snow tunnel walking down the sidewalk to the garage because the snow is so deep on either side. We're having online classes tomorrow for school, kinda sucks but most people that lost power have power again so I guess they figure most people have the electricity to go to online ones. Other than that I worked on some forum coding and played some games there isn't much else to do rn.

I'm glad to be off work and happy because we had spaghetti tonight.

I most DEFINITELY DO NOT WANT any tarantulas ANYWHERE in my house!!!!!!!!!!!! I'd not be too keen on a lizard in the bathroom either,

Life update from Ecuador I guess :v I got stuck on a volcano mountain last week because it started to hail and rain so we couldn't take the lift back down but it's okay because there were alpacas! Some monkeys are living outside my bedroom window whom I've named Tom, Brad, and Jerry. Yesterday Jerry left me a seed (I think) on my window sill. I have only had 2 tarantulas in my bedroom or house this week so that's an improvement :v there was a lizard in my bathroom last night however. Yesterday I didn't have class so we took a boat ride and ended up at a petting zoo! I finally tried guinea pig too which I didn't want at all to begin with (they eat guinea pig a lot in Ecuador) and it wasn't as bad as I imagined.

Since graduating high school, I've mostly been working fast food, studying japanese, and drawing repeat repeat repeat... That was until I took the JLPT n4 test in december. I failed it. But ya, I did. I learned a lot about how the test works and how to study for it. I'm still studying as much as I can, but now I have a new goal! I'm drawing a manga for Silent Manga Audition! I'm still studying japanese for N3.... which is the next hardest test. the thing is I almost passed the test, and I just don't want to take it again! I have a lot of goals now, and I'm making progress in them so its ok! On top of that, I'm starting a phelubotomy course starting in April so I don't have to keep working in fast food. My job is chill, but sometimes its brain numbing. yknow? So now I have so many things on my plate, the manga contest (may 10th is the deadline), JLPT n3 (next december), and work. Its kind a lot but it keeps me busy! In January I was feeling pretty down bc I was just waiting for my test results, but now I have things to do which is nice! I've only completed one page of my manga, so I kinda need to lock in and work on that. I'm gonna do that right now, but just to give u guys an idea of what its about, the title is "I had a Dream where I Learned how to Skateboard, so I turned it into a Reality!" But ya, lots of things going on. But I'm locked in!!!!!!!!! RAHHHHHHHHH☆*:.｡.o(≧▽≦)o.｡.:*☆

I did around 305 kc last night, no pet yet. I haven’t done the abyssal version yet and only easy mode, anyone done that? I green logged every thing else but the pet before 60 kc.

My dad has One Piece stickers on the back of his truck and my mom has a sailor moon bobble head, plushie, car air freshener, and some stickers on the back of her car and even a sailor moon steering wheel cover. I don't have anything in my car yet but I recently was looking at some seat covers I was thinking about getting one of them for mine: I guess the internet has made finding anime merch really easy for about anything you can think of.

Today I discovered that there is such a thing as bacon Alfredo sauce.

If I die this would be why and how. We didn't get anymore I saw where New York and other places a little North of me got a lot too. I hope you don't lose power because the snow is fine until you lose power.

We didn't get as much as you but where I'm at we got close to 6 inches at my house and we had blizzard warnings. Our power went out for about 20 minutes during the worst of it and then came back on so we haven't been without power. The news says there's going to be another 2-4 inches tomorrow in my area.

Not really bored but not much to do either. Though I was occupied for the last 2 hours making a banner for my forum's Spring opening, so at least I was busy for awhile. Happy with how it turned it out I guess so I guess I should be feeling accomplished lol~

A lot of the same reasons I'd say are already listed. It was always easy for me to talk about anime with other kids in school because nearly everyone watched it.. my older cousins told me before they were jealous of that because it wasn't popular when they were in school and didn't have anyone to talk about it with. The 1 thing I can say for sure for me is merch is easy to get now. When I was a kid (8, 9, 10 years old) I only saw anime merch at special shops at the mall like Game Stop or FYE but now I see it everywhere. I can even go in Walmart and find anime t-shirts so that's cool.

I remember a time when most anime on American tv could be broadly categorized as science fiction, though divided into various other subgenres: Space Opera (Star Blazers), Giant and/or Combining Robots (Tranzor Z, Voltron), Alien Invasion (Battle of the Planets), Mecha (Robotech). I remember a time when many isekai protagonists were female (and I don’t mean the Villainess archetype). Examples: Magic Knight Rayearth, Fushigi Yuugi & Vision of Escaflowne. I remember a time when you only got 2 or 3 episodes of anime on a VHS tape, it cost $20-$35 & you had to wait a minimum of 2 months for the next tape. Now people complain if an episode isn’t available 2 hours after it was broadcast in Japan and around $10/month for all you can watch is too expensive. A more recent trend, more anime are choosing to adapt arcs via movies instead of new seasons. And even when there is a new season, there’s an early theatrical release of the first couple episodes. And an increasing number of these movies get American releases. And not just popular shonen. For example, a couple years ago I saw the 2nd & 3rd Rascal Does Not Dream movies (sequels to Bunnygirl-senpai) at a cinema & I’m seeing Uma Musume: Beginning of a New Era at the movies this weekend. And I’m not living somewhere trendy like California or New York (SW OH ) Yes, there are way too many cut & paste isekai, OP MC & harem building series being made, but you also have series like the currently airing Journal With Witch (that I mentioned in the What Are You Watching topic) that I doubt would have been made in the past.

When I was younger and in high school back in the early 2000's only the "nerds" liked anime and talking about it or watching it instantly made you one of the weird kids so I had to hide the fact that I liked anime. I've noticed these days that isn't an issue and it's considered mainstream and lots of people watch it, you don't automatically get beat up by someone for watching it anymore. This right here is the same for me ^ I have several interactions with people who also have saw something anime themed I have on and say something like "cool shirt dude" or will start talking about the anime even if I don't know them so it seems to be something of a conversation starter anymore.

Finished the Spring theme banner for my forums ~ I'm pretty happy with the turn out. There are still a few bits on it that I'm iffy over but I think it's still good regardless. You'll have to click on it to view it in another tab I guess to view the full size of it, since it's so large as it's meaning to go across the entire top front page of my anime forums. So yeah, spoiler alert for everyone, the Spring theme coming out on March 1st for the website redo is gonna be Natsume Spring themed lol

Tried browsing other art for some inspiration?

The animation is better now but I don't feel like they put half as much effort into anime as they used to. Since it's so popular now I feel like they just churn out anime left and right and it isn't that good anymore in character development or story line. There's a few good ones here and there, but overall it's nowhere near as good as it used to be to me.

So I was trying to finish the new signature, and no matter what I did all weekend I can't X.x I had zero inspiration and everything I did felt like crap. SOoOoo I don't know when I'll finish it. I'm going to try to find some inspiration this week, maybe looking at some of my old stuff will inspire something~

International shipping price I paid yesterday was much more than the item I was sending but it was important to send so I had to pay it. Shipping cost seem to have gone up since I remember shipping packages before that were not as expensive even being around the same weight. Today I had work which I finished but I had to work from 7AM - 6PM. This has taken most of my day up. At lunch I did play some games, PokeMMO and Naruto Arena. I also took a small break in the afternoon to watch the storm coming into the area and play a bit of games too.

I feel lazy on days I'm not really doing anything.. I felt like all I did today was play games and mess around with some craft projects with stickers and gems. I did have to go downstairs to try to sort this online rent payment out. The rent office here still can't figure out why we can't sign up for the online rental payment system, but it tells us we don't exist lol. They promised to have it sorted out by next month but this means we have to drive to get a money order tomorrow instead of just being able to pay online x.x

Today I was called back from my interview over the weekend and was offered the job I applied for. In 3 weeks I will start working for a new game company and I am happy to have gotten the job at a game I played most of my life. Other than this exciting thing happening there isn't much else that happened in my life today except work.

Ya this incident @Zeref mentioned at the restaurant today scared me. I don't like loud sounds and yelling is really hard for me to deal with so we had to leave immediately because I felt like I was going to have a panic attack and that my heart was going to pound right out of my chest. Especially when the guy started making threats. It looks like the police arrived though so I hope no one was too shaken up or that any of the wait staff got injured after we left. We went to an aquatic center today at the YMCA and it was really fun ~ They have a huge therapy pool there that is heated with really warm water, almost like a spa, but it's the size of a huge indoor swimming pool. We swam in that for about an hour, then went to the aquatic park part and played in the normal swimming pool where they have several pretty large water slides Then we went back to the therapy pool to warm back up before getting out. We also got in the steam room, sauna, and hot tub. Did some other boring stuff like grocery shopping at Walmart, walking the track, eating, blah blah blah lol Now I'm just going to play some games after waking up from a nap ^.^

Luckily all packages here are put into the parcel room by the front desk workers or that would likely be common. Today I had the interview for my new job and I believe I have the job. They told me they would call to confirm every thing on Monday with another video conference but I knew the persons interviewing me and things went smoothly. After that we went to the YMCA to go swimming in the therapy pool and the aquatic center, followed by some exercise and walking around in the indoor track. After we went grocery shopping at Walmart and out to eat for Saturday dinner. There was a crazy person in the restaurant we went in to eat however. He was complaining at the wait staff about how he didn't receive his food but had no receipt, then changing his story to he didn't like the food, then he started threatening violence at which point they called the cops. We bagged our food up and were already on our way out the door because of the threats of the things he was getting ready to do, we didn't want to sit around and wait to be a number statistic in a gun crime.
