  3. I have an eclipse joke... but it gets kind of dark. Why are so many people talking about the eclipse? Probably because it's significance is astronomical. Why did the moon feel guilty after the solar eclipse? It thought it might have thrown some shade! How does the man in the moon cut his hair? Eclipse it.

  6. I know Harvest Moon! I have some time the next upcoming week to play a new game so I am going to check into it. Oh wow the trailer of this Cities: Skylines game looks amazing. Much different than the little phone games I usually play I really want to look that up now ~! Oh nice, I prefer a lot of anime games so that might be pretty neat

  8. Every morning I announce to my family that I’m going jogging but then I don’t go… it’s a running joke. I have a joke about a broken clock but it’s not the right time. I have another one about chemistry but I don’t think it’ll get a reaction. So I'll just leave you with the observation that geology rocks but geography is where it’s at.

  13. Hi. I'm a simple girl. I like cute girls. I like anime with a large cast of cute girls, bonus if they have magic powers. I love goblins. I love tribalism. Any work that has characters running around in a loincloth and shooting a bow has my immediate attention. I also like to write stories and fanfiction and I saw you guys had a writer's section. Figured this would be as good a place as any to get started. I don't do drama. I don't do politics. While I have a passing interest in Neo-Pagan and Wiccan beliefs, I don't believe in the supernatural. I just find the subjects fascinating. I look forward to talking to you all, and sharing my work!

  19. I know I am well LATE to this forum, but had to voice my opinions. I feel like the TYPE of each is important, for example there are many cat-girls whom I wouldn't pick over a fox-girl any day of the week, however Omamori Himari's female lead Himari is a Bakeneko (Monster/Demon Cat) and is absolutely stunning with her samurai-style servitude and yet still extremely seductive towards her master with just the right amount of Nyaa~'s. Meanwhile my preferred type of Fox-Girl only has so very few animated characters whom I would actually go for; Tenko Kuugen, Konohana-Tei girls, Hagoromo Gitsune, to name some of the few, as opposed to the plethora of animated cat-girls. I do however love many Fox-Girls who appear in various un-animated manga such as Yuki from Tamayura Kitsune, who is a fox granted human form by the god whom she serves as a shrine-maiden (Fox-Girls make the best shrine maidens). Honestly have very little interest in Dog-Girls, of course if you count wolves then Holo the Wise Wolf (Spice and Wolf) is hands down the greatest animal eared girl in history (first animal eared waifu), though her appearance and actions are so fox-like that it irritates me that she is said to be a wolf. However there is one dog-girl I have found in the past year of two that has been deemed waifu material and that is Wereanna from Kamitachi Ni Hirowareta Otoko (at least the manga) as she is fiercely loyal and beautiful, of course her wolf-like feeling helps earn her points. Similarly there are many Sub-Categories such as cats > big cat - girls, such as tiger girls or what have you that have a strong appeal. In the end it really comes down to individual characters traits for me, but I do admittedly lean towards Fox-Girls (Kitsune), the only outliers that could convince me otherwise are samurai cat-girl Himari and Wise Wolf-girl Holo. (Unsurprisingly all of my favourite of each are yokai/demons/spirits, which is where I spent my early anime days)

  20. SV is (quite) a bit like the early Rune Factory / Harvest Moon series, if you know those. If you like city building then I can recommend Cities:Skylines. I was a big SimCity fan until EA drove me off. If you like that sort of thing then C:S is very similar. I haven't found time to play C:S2 yet but I played the heck out of the first one. Both are on Steam.

  23. Hello, my name is Jokinglytimeless1994. I like to watch anime and be a fan, I have been watching anime for a long time, my first anime I watched was Sailor Moon and boy I was hooked on it and then there was Pokemon that tied in with the video games by Nintendo (The very same company that resurrected the gaming industry in America since 1985 with the Nintendo Entetainment System.) I find anime to be an amazing form of entertainment to enjoy and take me out of the insanity of reality. My first real anime I watched in Japanese was Black Butler back when I went to my first anime club meeting back in high school and since then I created a list of animes. FLCL, Toradora, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Sword art Online, Another, Future Diary, Jellyfish Princess, Fairy Tale, Kill la Kill, Little Witch Academia, The Girl who lept through time, Summer Wars, Wolf Children and Re:Zero, my list goes on. I also like to cosplay too, I cosplayed as Hilbert from Pokemon Black and White, Ame from Wolf Children, Kirito from Sword art Online, Natsu Dragneel from Fairy Tale, An Inkling boy wearing a Squid Girl outfit from Splatoon, and I cosplayed as Tanjiro Kamado from Demon Slayer, I am like 29 years old (an adult about to be 30 in 2024) and I am looking for people that are the same age as me that like to cosplay anime characters. I also some of you may or may not agree with this but I am also a TikToker that does pop culutre, anime and cosplay videos on TikTok you can follow me on TikTok and get into contact with me there. Jokinglytimeles1994 TikTok It's nice to be friends with you anime fans!

  29. I’ve played nearly every hour of the beta of the new SAO game, sword art online fractured daydream, and it’s amazing. It’s really really fun and has a lot of potential. There are some things that aren’t good enough but it’s to be expected of a beta like that. This is basically what I sent to the devs (I wrote a lot lol): I’m pretty sure the devs teams is gonna fix these problems but I will point out everything I saw. Agil needs more tank skill and a better taunt. Leafa needs more support skills/healing skills. It’s very difficult to see the enemy health-bar when playing, especially on close quarter combat characters like Argo and kirito. Weak points are too hard to hit for pretty much every character except sinon or leafa where it’s a lot easier (flying and aiming) which in turn makes the “side quest” appearing during a battle boss about dealing the most damage to the weak point or dealing the most damage way easier for them and nearly impossible for others. There is no way to know which characters need healing as there are always action and that a lot of players use the same characters (a color indicator going from green to red on the player could help for characters like leafa). The weak point hit boxes are too small to the point where it’s random when you hit their weak point. Attributes that serves nothing to weapons appears way too much, example: fire weakness on a light weapon. Boss move a bit too much making it really painful to hit their weak point and not their resist point. No player rank rewards (probably just a beta thing and you will add them when the game releases). Upgrading weapons/accessory unnecessary unless you have a legendary. When there is suppose to be a character talking a white box with text box showing “…” with no voice appears instead. Characters have skills that do the same thing but deal less damage or just skill that can do 1500 damage with nothing else and another skill able to do 8000 and able to hit multiple targets (Argo). Argo’s unique skill being way too situational and weak, especially in boss battles. Leafa healing is way too low compare to what enemies can do (same for kirito’s unique skill but not as much). Attacks being executed on the spot and not making the character move a bit toward the targeted ennemies makes it so a lot of skills and attacks do nothing for example: when holding heavy attack with kirito and attacking a flying ennemy in the air then doing right after multiples light attacks to deal more damage to it in the sky, most of theses strikes except the last will actually do any damage because the ennemy would have move a tiny bit farther after the heavy attack. No incentive to clear more mobs or open more chest in coop quest because you can get all the exp you need doing quest and because the loot you get from chest gets you nearly nothing or you can just get them when doing quest. For example most people would just do every quest even if under levels because they can easily level up from these stronger monster, especially on the tower quest where players would just defeat the level 23 enemies to get a lot of exp then complete it after. As such, the kobold boss fight gets very easy where it’s defeated in mere minutes if everyone gangs up on the boss to deal damage. Sinon making more damage near the ennemies makes her pistol worthless as it does less damage than her sniper when close to the enemies. Also Sinon sniper making more damage up close doesn’t help her at all since she is supposed to hit from far away and not from up close. I can understand that going closer to the enemies makes more challenge but it really doesn’t help her kit and her character/playstyle. Going up close near the danger is more of kirito’s job or Argo’s job. You can take for example how melee dps and ranged dps acts in final fantasy 14. Ranged dps deal the most damage and are forced to stay close to the enemies, resulting in them needing to evade most of the ennemies attack, while the ranged dps can safely deal damage while being more consistent. Basically melee dps (kirito) = more damage but higher risk, while ranged dps (Sinon) = less damage but less risk and consistency in damage. Maybe don’t do something too similar but this is just and idea or a way of thinking that could be good. Except that keep what you are doing dev team, the game is so fun I got addicted to the beta test to the point where I played all of the time allowed for it and can’t wait to play more. It might not be the SAO mmo I always wanted but this game definitely has immense potential. It’s really really fun. And of course you don’t have to listen to everything I wrote but I hope you will at least give it a chance. Ty very much. -a huge fan of SAO

  30. Akudama Drive - dystopian/cyberpunk adventure, female protagonist. Kind of a spoiler, but several characters don’t survive (kind of like Edgerunners) Lycoris Recoil - girls with guns action, some slice of life & humor. Bluray collection is awfully expensive though. Expelled from Paradise - futuristic cyberpunk movie. Claymore - dark fantasy, swordswoman Deca-Dence - post apocalyptic future, kaiju. Kinda cyberpunk. ID: Invaded - cyberpunk, detectives vs serial killers Iria Zeiram: The Animation - retro anime, futuristic female bounty hunter. 6 episode OVA Solty Rei - cyberpunk, bounty hunters Moribito Guardian of the Spirit - female warrior/bodyguard

  31. Oh, I didn't think he did. That's comforting to know in that case. ^^ I agree. I always wanted to collect all seasons of the DBZ DVDs (the ones that people call "orange bricks"), but I was never able to get all of them. After Akira's tragic and untimely passing I bet everything Dragon Ball is going to sell for a premium now, so the chances of me ever completing my DBZ collection probably got drastically reduced. ;.; At least I've got all of the Z movies though~ ^^ I'll keep collecting the games though. The ones that don't require online playing, that is, due to our monthly data limit. >< Who's your favorite DB character?

  37. I relate to Pink Floyd's The Wall. I know its an album and not a song but I just relate to it so much especially side 3 and especially the song "Nobody Home". The song is about having nobody to talk to you and nobody for you to talk to which is what I feel at this point in time. Another song off the album I relate too is "One of My Turns" especially first few lines of the song.

  39. For online purchases I usually use Apple Pay or Paypal which goes directly to my debit card anyways. If I'm buying something in person I always use my debit card as well. I never use cash and the only cash I ever carry is about 10 dollars in $1 dollar bills in case I need it for a bus or train or something in the event of an emergency.

  45. Everyone is a beginner at some point! Just remember that, and maybe you’ll feel less on the outside Would you like to design your own costume or buy a prefab one? One simple idea: Buy a tail and ears and go as a fox demon? This can be beautifully done and very light on your wallet. Here is a rather elaborate example But you could wear something cute that you already own with just an addition of your new fox ears and tail maybe @Beocat can give you some pointers too

  46. Not much here recently. I just did a major upgrade of my computer at the end of last year, then right after that a tree fell on my old car and I had to buy a new one, then there was a trip to Las Vegas for my brother's wedding in March. Since then I've had to stop buying stuff for a while. I did recently spend a little money ($15) on the Breaking Ground expansion/DLC for Kerbal Space Program, if that counts. That's about it for me though. I'm also considering an e-reader/notepad/sketchpad like the Boox Note or Note Pro, but that's still future-tense at this point.
