I think I may have posted this one before, I saw this fox on my lawn one afternoon.

I feel kind of stupid for liking someone again and then barely a week into it find out they are already cheating on me lollll... Also pretty hurt and I think I'm just feeling like I am totally and completely done with relationships for good.

it's still a WIP, but here's something I've been working on! It's just some drawings of some images I found off Pinterest (I would credit the people, but I've lost the images. Sorry! ). It's definitely not my favourite work of art, but I'm proud nonetheless. I've also improved quite a bit since I started it, haha. Not sure if I'll actually end up finishing it though lol

This isn't the first time I've had dolls of anime characters (I have others of my OCs, some of those are on my profile and I may make a blog out of the photoshoots I do at some point) but it is my first canon character. I commissioned a nendoroid style head and used an Obitsu11 body, which I then very horribly put his tattoos on lol. I can't get over how heckin cute he is ‧º·(˚ ˃̣̣̥⌓˂̣̣̥ )‧º·˚ the panda slippers!! It's too much x_x

So what anime are you watching at the moment? For me it's Psycho-Pass. I'm loving it so much! It's a Sci-Fi detective thriller but It's quite deep, alongside the depth and action of Ghost in the Shell. And Shakespeare, lots of references to English literature! How about you?

The days I started to use apng formats, Drawing, Background made from c4d app, I really like that Explosion FX option Latest made from android phone, I believe we have different styles when it comes to graphics

Yesterday night was one of the most fantastic moments and a core memory. With my partner visiting me here in Czechia. I decided to propose! And she said yes!!

I've had a quick play with one of the AI programs and it generated some interesting pictures based on the words I typed in, but I don't really think I could 'claim' them as my own work. To my mind it's not all that different to raiding Google images for picture elements and combining them into something 'new', it's ultimately just stealing someone else's work. As a photographer I'd be a bit put out if I discovered someone was using parts of my photos to create their own pictures, I'd be more that just 'put out' if I was a professional photographer and earned my living taking and selling photos.

Hi everyone! So I have been very inactive on here both on the forum side and updating this blog, with working in Spain for the last 4 months and then my father passing away unexpectedly everything has been very chaotic but the grind to the top of Africa never stopped. With our vaccines got last week (Hep B, Diptheria, and Yellow Fever) luckily my Tetanus was still in date! as someone who has very bad anxiety around needles hearing that we will be going through Kenya meant we'd need yellow fever vaccines quiet unfortunate but hey I managed to get through the 3 without fainting (cant say the same thing about straight after ) We've also been slowly getting the gear needed, I might do a post about that at some point. Really breaking through the bank account though. Anyway as the main focus of this trek as some of you might have known from the last post is raising money for MRF with 100% of the money donated going to them, We are currently 855 euro away from the final goal of 5490!!!!!!! So with a final grind and push (think I've emailed over 100 businesses and not one has responded) LETS HIT THIS GOALLL WOOOOH (Donation page has been removed since goal has been reached) (Any support is very much appreciated, whether its donation or spreading the word! <3)

For me it's the artwork. Anime style seems to be different than cartoons. For me when I think about cartoons I think about Looney Tunes or Tom and Jerry, something like that When I think about anime I think about things like Naruto, SAO, FMA, with that specific artwork style. Also like @Animedragon said too it's the storyline. Anime seems to have an actual storyline with things progressing with each episode like a normal T.V show would, and when I think about cartoons I think about something that doesn't really have a storyline that goes from episode to episode.

Finished The Dangers in My Heart . The first episode was kinda offputting, but thereafter the MC’s chuuni edgelord mannerisms get dialed back considerably to where he’s more awkward than anything & it winds up being a rather cute & funny romcom. A little less than halfway through Heavenly Delusion. Pretty strange series with things switching back & forth between 2 separate but connected settings & cast of characters. Got to admit the twist at the end of episode 2 caught me by surprise. Saw Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind at the movies/cinema this afternoon. Some newer anime fans might find the character designs & animation dated, but very nostalgic for me very similar to the period when I first discovered & became fascinated with anime. One of my favorite Ghibli films & heroines.

Hey so I want to have an open conversation about something I think people maybe overlook or try not to think to heavily about, which is what I did for a long time but recently I can’t anymore it’s like my mind unlocked info and now I can’t turn it off. We all know anime has a lot of fan service right? Well usually I can ignore it cause it’s usually just a high-school girl with big boobs and her panties are showing, stereotypical. I’m talking about the other issue. The sexualization of very young girls and or young looking girls. For example, I’m scrolling on a website to read a manga and I come across one with a girl in elementary school flashing her panties and I’m like what is this? I just ignore it but I do want to ask how is it so widely accepted? I know most people see it and go oh god but we also like don’t riot or try and take it down. It’s considered freedom of expression or the argument is “the author isn’t a pedo he likes anime lolis”. It got me to thinking though when manga artists who do draw sexualized anime girls( specifically very young ones) are they using a reference in their head? Do they have a reference of a real life little girl and use her to draw, or is it more they use reference of a made up adult but just makes them smaller in their head, or do they use other loli characters as reference so on and so fourth or do they make up the anime girl completely without any reference whether real or fake. I just couldn’t get it out of my head if they’re using real children as reference to draw whether they use fotos of images in their head of real kids they’ve seen. Even big time anime’s or mangakas will draw young girls flashing their non existent cleavage or showing panties, one good example is Shirō from no game no life. she’s literally 11 but so sexualized. It’s so prevalent in other shows and mangas and they tend to be created by men as well. I love anime and manga, I really do, but I just wanted to get opinions from other people who see this happening as well, how do you cope? Or are you also not coping well. Do you have any more knowledge and insight from artists who do draw loli characters? Are they not using real kids and reference. The problem here to is there will be artists who are creeps and do use real children, I guess I’m talking about the majority of the community that draws that kind of stuff, what do they use as reference if any. Thank you for listening to me ramble, I just feel like this is an important topic and want to talk to other people who either feel the same way I do or who have different opinions or thoughts. :)

I get asked for jobs/commissions quite often on DeviantArt but I just can't find it in me to do them anymore. I enjoy it up to the point where people start making lots of changes and then get angry when it takes longer because they keep drawing out changes lol

Curious what is everyone's New Year's resolutions for 2024? Are you going to give up a bad habit or maybe want to start something new such as a new hobby? Maybe go for a job advancement or cross a travel place off your bucket list? For me I think I have a couple of basic ones such as to eat healthier and exercise a little more, and make sure I graduate from college this year with high grades. I also have a few that are of course pretty personal, but I think my main one is this year to stop focusing on what everyone else wants from me and focus on what I want from me. To make my life more about my own goals and get to know myself and what makes me happier a little better.

The main reason I get on here anymore is to interact with the few friends I have here and respond to their DM's. I also like posting on the forum games because it's something fun to come here and do. I really like forums a bit better than say, group Discord chats, for talking with others because I feel like I can keep up better on a forum.

What kind of anime are you into? Action, drama, romance, etc? I recently watched Peacemaker Kurogane and I really liked it, it's fairly short as far as animes go, so it doesn't take long to watch. I would also recommend Inuyasha if you haven't seen it. Golden Time, My Dress Up Darling, or Your Name if you like romance. High School of the Dead is a really good anime imo. Kenshin, Full Metal Alchemist, Hunter x Hunter, Death Note, Code Geass, Trigun, My Little Monster, Clannad, Durarara and Toaru Majutsu no Index are others I recommend :3

I think it's important to have a hobby, studies have shown that people who have hobbies are happier and more stress free than those who don't. Mine are building my model railway and photography.

UPDATE: I finished Evangelion on Thanksgiving night, not gonna put a review or spoilers here just figured I'd mention it.

Today I finished re-watching, again, one of my favourite series; ef-A Tale of Memories, this is an excellent Slice of Life series, or perhaps more correctly a Slice of Lives series as it follows the lives of three couples, their stories are both separate and interconnected at the same time. While in some places the scenes are a bit dialogue heavy the dialogue is well written and has both a subtle humour and more serious side to it. What really makes this series stand out is its beautiful soundtrack and stunningly creative artwork and dramatic backgrounds, the range of colour palettes used is quite different to most series. I find it a very enjoyable series to watch, but at the same time there is a lot to think about at the end.

Okay. So. I love reincarnation styled isekai. Girl/guy gets hit by unexpected incoming lorry or bus etc...gets reincarnated. We've seen that being done several times over....BUT... what if the anime is from the driver's perspective. And he goes around accidentally sending random people off and narrowly avoids jail and eventually becomes notorious and ends up in jail in season 2. It would start of as slice of life and then slowly change genre as his life goes from peaceful to hell.

A forum site is only as good as it's community is willling to let it grow by contributing to it be it by striking up an entertaining conversation, making engaging threads or simply making content that catches the eyes of visitors enough to decide to make an account and be part of this home of ours.

I'm currently rewatching the absolute gem of a series known as Yuru Camp. Everything about this series is so good, the artwork, animation, background music and storyline are excellent. Then there's the wonderful cast, the quiet, softly spoken introverted solo camper Rin Shima and the energetic extroverted Nadeshiko Kagamihara make a perfect team. This series is just so enjoyable and such great fun to watch.

Heeeheh~ I was kinda too nervous to post here, but! I tried cell-shading some chibis and it turned out ok, so why not? Brunette is my beloved OC Shizumoto Kaede and the white-haired bob-cut fellow an equally beloved canon villain from season 1 of Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE!, Kusatsu Kinshiro. I am a shameless OC insert kind of person and Kaede is one of my absolute favorites. Having someone so clumsy that she's basically a walking hazard as a hero is just In short, she's my baby lol. You'll probably be seeing more of her here in the future~ Please, if possible keep criticism to yourself; I'm happy with this the way it is and can't make changes to it now anyway.
