  1. I feel kind of stupid for liking someone again and then barely a week into it find out they are already cheating on me lollll... Also pretty hurt and I think I'm just feeling like I am totally and completely done with relationships for good.

  7. Hi. I'm a simple girl. I like cute girls. I like anime with a large cast of cute girls, bonus if they have magic powers. I love goblins. I love tribalism. Any work that has characters running around in a loincloth and shooting a bow has my immediate attention. I also like to write stories and fanfiction and I saw you guys had a writer's section. Figured this would be as good a place as any to get started. I don't do drama. I don't do politics. While I have a passing interest in Neo-Pagan and Wiccan beliefs, I don't believe in the supernatural. I just find the subjects fascinating. I look forward to talking to you all, and sharing my work!

  8. Why do people wear shamrocks on St. Patrick's Day? Regular rocks are too heavy. Why can't you borrow money from a leprechaun? Because they're always a little short.

  12. Every morning I announce to my family that I’m going jogging but then I don’t go… it’s a running joke. I have a joke about a broken clock but it’s not the right time. I have another one about chemistry but I don’t think it’ll get a reaction. So I'll just leave you with the observation that geology rocks but geography is where it’s at.

  21. I’ve played nearly every hour of the beta of the new SAO game, sword art online fractured daydream, and it’s amazing. It’s really really fun and has a lot of potential. There are some things that aren’t good enough but it’s to be expected of a beta like that. This is basically what I sent to the devs (I wrote a lot lol): I’m pretty sure the devs teams is gonna fix these problems but I will point out everything I saw. Agil needs more tank skill and a better taunt. Leafa needs more support skills/healing skills. It’s very difficult to see the enemy health-bar when playing, especially on close quarter combat characters like Argo and kirito. Weak points are too hard to hit for pretty much every character except sinon or leafa where it’s a lot easier (flying and aiming) which in turn makes the “side quest” appearing during a battle boss about dealing the most damage to the weak point or dealing the most damage way easier for them and nearly impossible for others. There is no way to know which characters need healing as there are always action and that a lot of players use the same characters (a color indicator going from green to red on the player could help for characters like leafa). The weak point hit boxes are too small to the point where it’s random when you hit their weak point. Attributes that serves nothing to weapons appears way too much, example: fire weakness on a light weapon. Boss move a bit too much making it really painful to hit their weak point and not their resist point. No player rank rewards (probably just a beta thing and you will add them when the game releases). Upgrading weapons/accessory unnecessary unless you have a legendary. When there is suppose to be a character talking a white box with text box showing “…” with no voice appears instead. Characters have skills that do the same thing but deal less damage or just skill that can do 1500 damage with nothing else and another skill able to do 8000 and able to hit multiple targets (Argo). Argo’s unique skill being way too situational and weak, especially in boss battles. Leafa healing is way too low compare to what enemies can do (same for kirito’s unique skill but not as much). Attacks being executed on the spot and not making the character move a bit toward the targeted ennemies makes it so a lot of skills and attacks do nothing for example: when holding heavy attack with kirito and attacking a flying ennemy in the air then doing right after multiples light attacks to deal more damage to it in the sky, most of theses strikes except the last will actually do any damage because the ennemy would have move a tiny bit farther after the heavy attack. No incentive to clear more mobs or open more chest in coop quest because you can get all the exp you need doing quest and because the loot you get from chest gets you nearly nothing or you can just get them when doing quest. For example most people would just do every quest even if under levels because they can easily level up from these stronger monster, especially on the tower quest where players would just defeat the level 23 enemies to get a lot of exp then complete it after. As such, the kobold boss fight gets very easy where it’s defeated in mere minutes if everyone gangs up on the boss to deal damage. Sinon making more damage near the ennemies makes her pistol worthless as it does less damage than her sniper when close to the enemies. Also Sinon sniper making more damage up close doesn’t help her at all since she is supposed to hit from far away and not from up close. I can understand that going closer to the enemies makes more challenge but it really doesn’t help her kit and her character/playstyle. Going up close near the danger is more of kirito’s job or Argo’s job. You can take for example how melee dps and ranged dps acts in final fantasy 14. Ranged dps deal the most damage and are forced to stay close to the enemies, resulting in them needing to evade most of the ennemies attack, while the ranged dps can safely deal damage while being more consistent. Basically melee dps (kirito) = more damage but higher risk, while ranged dps (Sinon) = less damage but less risk and consistency in damage. Maybe don’t do something too similar but this is just and idea or a way of thinking that could be good. Except that keep what you are doing dev team, the game is so fun I got addicted to the beta test to the point where I played all of the time allowed for it and can’t wait to play more. It might not be the SAO mmo I always wanted but this game definitely has immense potential. It’s really really fun. And of course you don’t have to listen to everything I wrote but I hope you will at least give it a chance. Ty very much. -a huge fan of SAO

  25. Thanks~ ^^ I got pretty sad when I found out Akira Toriyama passed away. He was planning on doing so much more with the franchise. There might be someone that will try to carry on his legacy, or maybe even a team of people to do it, but I'm not sure if anyone will be able to seamlessly resume his works.

  29. Hello everyone! Wow, well, I think this blog entry is very much overdue, I apologise greatly for not making a post sooner or ever making that post about the gear or training (if you're interested, feel free to DM me) So firstly thank you to everyone for the support! The goal was reached, and all the money was given to MRF!!!! (huge thank you to @Animedragonfor the donations) As for the journey, well, I'll do my best to talk about it while also keeping it short. I'm afraid I don't remember the dates or times, but I'll do my best! So firstly me and my fiancee did this together along with a group of around 25 other students from Ireland. We arrived at Dublin airport early, where we met the whole group for the first time (some of us had met at fundraisers but didn't get to know each other until that moment) From there we flew to Doha and then flew into Dar Es Salaam. After a 7-hour bus trip through Tanzania, we arrived at Moshi (a small town near the base of Kilimanjaro), where we would stay the night. Waking up early, we headed for Kili, this was a beautiful trip, and honestly, seeing Africa was just honestly one of the most beautiful things in the world, a real eye-opener. Arriving at Kili, we were greeted by some really adorable monkeys at the gate and had to wait a couple of hours for our gear to be unloaded and sorted among the porters. we took the Machame route which is a total of 7 days, 5 up, 2 down. We started day 1 through the rainforest which was definitely a very difficult day, we arrived at camp much later than expected and had to use our head torches (Machame Camp) Within the first day my fiancee became very sick but managed to push through day 2 towards Shira Camp, which I found quite a pleasant and beautiful walk. Shira Camp was definitely breathtaking. The next day was when the altitude started to get to me, we went up to the Lava Tower for lunch and back down to the Barranco Camp where we would stay the night before tackling the amazing Barranco wall. At this point I was getting sick and suffering from some crazy migraines. We woke up nice and early and did the Barranco wall which was for sure the best way to start the day, absolutely love climbing and scrambling up the wall! but I didn't expect the very long walk after towards Barafu camp. At Barafu camp we prepared to summit and left at around 1am at night if I remember correctly, this was the most painful and exhausting day of my life, our noses were pumping blood and our brains were foggy, I swear I sleep walked half of it, at every break you just wanted to close your eyes and give up, every step was heavy and painful and it just never ended, there was a sea of headlamps slowly making their way up the mountain and it was dreadful, but finally at around 7am we made it to the top!, at that moment all the pain just vanished, it was a fresh of life, we got our pictures and within 15 minutes were heading down. Now if you thought getting up there was hard, coming down was just as bad, it was like a slip and slide of ash! absolutely dreadful experience, me and my fiancee swore to each other that we wouldn't do something like it again (that's a lie now) but we did it, and we were exhausted. the two days down was dreadful but we were all looking forward to a shower and a cold Coca-Cola at the bottom, it kept our spirits up. And that's it in summary! Now I know there is so much more detail and trust me I will give it, so many stories to tell and so many pictures to share, but I will save that for the next blog post! I just felt I needed to share that it was completed. So next post I will share some photos (at least one from each day) and then also some stories and what happened after we got down! Buuuut I wanted to make this post because What's next? Well We are thinking either Machu Picchu or Mont Blanc!!!!!!! And this time I will do a way better job documenting them with videos!!!
    1 point
  30. Yeah I've heard that due to a lot of protests about the guides in Machu Picchu that it's gotten hard to get up and also the crazy weather. Unfortunely the same is happening with Mnt Blanc due to the changes in weather and terrain so before we know it, the mountain may no longer be climable

  34. Sure, why not? I’ll need to find my old disc and fire it up again to do the comparison though. And yeah, I remember that first jammer shortly after the beginning of the game. Took me a few tries to get through it too. ^^ Always ended up having reinforcements called in on me.

  38. Nier Automata: I finally caught Beetle Fish from the Desert Oasis which was the last fish I needed from that body of water for the Caught Fish data of Intel in the game gained from fishing in different areas. The next area in the story of Route B (playing as 9S) is the Amusement Park after going into the sewers near it to access it at first to begin with. That's where I'll fish for a Tire to finish the data of the places in Route B thus far that have fishing spots. I look forward to seeing how different this route is compared to Route A when I played as 2B.

  41. I relate to Pink Floyd's The Wall. I know its an album and not a song but I just relate to it so much especially side 3 and especially the song "Nobody Home". The song is about having nobody to talk to you and nobody for you to talk to which is what I feel at this point in time. Another song off the album I relate too is "One of My Turns" especially first few lines of the song.

  44. I’ll assume the role of Sofia. There can be many MCs who are our friends in this story. Write your own in! Or take up the part of the mysterious boy. Sofia: Age 15. Likes: Books, Ramen, Chocolate, Tea, Sports (though hasn't chosen a club this year) Dislikes: Loud noise, death Update: If everyone could please update their initial post with more about their character, that would be great. Doesnt have to be a lot. Whatever you want to add is fine! We can add as we go along in the story. There are some things that are nice to have as background knowledge though. So the more you add, the more we can do off hand.

  45. Everyone is a beginner at some point! Just remember that, and maybe you’ll feel less on the outside Would you like to design your own costume or buy a prefab one? One simple idea: Buy a tail and ears and go as a fox demon? This can be beautifully done and very light on your wallet. Here is a rather elaborate example But you could wear something cute that you already own with just an addition of your new fox ears and tail maybe @Beocat can give you some pointers too

  47. I would have to say I like Eminem more never even listened to MGK though nor do I really follow him. As far as MGK trying to ruin Eminem's career that really speaks to how he is as a person if you ask me. Though just like any other industry music including rap can be cut-trout at times.
