I think I may have posted this one before, I saw this fox on my lawn one afternoon.

I feel kind of stupid for liking someone again and then barely a week into it find out they are already cheating on me lollll... Also pretty hurt and I think I'm just feeling like I am totally and completely done with relationships for good.

it's still a WIP, but here's something I've been working on! It's just some drawings of some images I found off Pinterest (I would credit the people, but I've lost the images. Sorry! ). It's definitely not my favourite work of art, but I'm proud nonetheless. I've also improved quite a bit since I started it, haha. Not sure if I'll actually end up finishing it though lol

This isn't the first time I've had dolls of anime characters (I have others of my OCs, some of those are on my profile and I may make a blog out of the photoshoots I do at some point) but it is my first canon character. I commissioned a nendoroid style head and used an Obitsu11 body, which I then very horribly put his tattoos on lol. I can't get over how heckin cute he is ‧º·(˚ ˃̣̣̥⌓˂̣̣̥ )‧º·˚ the panda slippers!! It's too much x_x

So what anime are you watching at the moment? For me it's Psycho-Pass. I'm loving it so much! It's a Sci-Fi detective thriller but It's quite deep, alongside the depth and action of Ghost in the Shell. And Shakespeare, lots of references to English literature! How about you?

So I would't lengthen my words lol any questions are welcome critiques are welcome as well Here goes nothin' As a Starter made from photoscape, The days I figured out how to use photoshop, The days I mixed an animation from different forgotten apps png format. The days I started to use apng formats, Drawing, Background made from c4d app, I really like that Explosion FX option Latest made from android phone, I believe we have different styles when it comes to graphics

I've had a quick play with one of the AI programs and it generated some interesting pictures based on the words I typed in, but I don't really think I could 'claim' them as my own work. To my mind it's not all that different to raiding Google images for picture elements and combining them into something 'new', it's ultimately just stealing someone else's work. As a photographer I'd be a bit put out if I discovered someone was using parts of my photos to create their own pictures, I'd be more that just 'put out' if I was a professional photographer and earned my living taking and selling photos.

For me it's the artwork. Anime style seems to be different than cartoons. For me when I think about cartoons I think about Looney Tunes or Tom and Jerry, something like that When I think about anime I think about things like Naruto, SAO, FMA, with that specific artwork style. Also like @Animedragon said too it's the storyline. Anime seems to have an actual storyline with things progressing with each episode like a normal T.V show would, and when I think about cartoons I think about something that doesn't really have a storyline that goes from episode to episode.

Finished The Dangers in My Heart . The first episode was kinda offputting, but thereafter the MC’s chuuni edgelord mannerisms get dialed back considerably to where he’s more awkward than anything & it winds up being a rather cute & funny romcom. A little less than halfway through Heavenly Delusion. Pretty strange series with things switching back & forth between 2 separate but connected settings & cast of characters. Got to admit the twist at the end of episode 2 caught me by surprise. Saw Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind at the movies/cinema this afternoon. Some newer anime fans might find the character designs & animation dated, but very nostalgic for me very similar to the period when I first discovered & became fascinated with anime. One of my favorite Ghibli films & heroines.

Hello, I guess this is where I re introduce myself. Hi it's been a minute the last time I've been active on here or even using a fourm. All I want to say first off is im sorry to those if I ever hurt anyone in anyway or by me leaving the fourm. I was major mess back then and needed to go for my health sake. I'm not the same person back in 2018, I'm re born into something new, and proud to say I'm in a wonderful place now and at peace. I noticed some of the people I used to know back then on here still, which is pretty cool. Well I'm never really good at these so I'll shall take my leave. This has been bugging me for some time now and i need your opinion please. I see a lot of people starting threads or replying only with their opinion. So lets look at the " what are you watching" thread. People post their opinion and reply. I see this so many times. I cannot explain it better than to tell that everyone live their own live. We post our reply and we post our thread, without reading eachothers. I am guilty as well. i post a reply on a anime i love. BUT at least i always tell myself,..read the previous 3 replies and like them. Can we use this foru m to read and understand eachother instead of webloggin your opinion?

Curious what is everyone's New Year's resolutions for 2024? Are you going to give up a bad habit or maybe want to start something new such as a new hobby? Maybe go for a job advancement or cross a travel place off your bucket list? For me I think I have a couple of basic ones such as to eat healthier and exercise a little more, and make sure I graduate from college this year with high grades. I also have a few that are of course pretty personal, but I think my main one is this year to stop focusing on what everyone else wants from me and focus on what I want from me. To make my life more about my own goals and get to know myself and what makes me happier a little better.

For me this year, I want to try to make a few more friends, whether it's online or IRL. While it's really difficult to make friends as an adult, I think a lot of the problem for me is that I don't do quite enough to put myself out there to meet people. I'm no social butterfly and I can't stand a crowd, but I feel like I should try to put myself in somewhat social situations, if for nothing else just for the opportunity to sharpen my social skills to make it a little easier to meet new people. Easier said than done, though. I have some days when I just want solitude above all else. The other thing I want to continue working on is eliminating my debts and saving up so I can buy a home of my own someday soon. I guess another smaller resolution would be to cook more food that's better for me at home more often and stop eating out so much.

I've been practising my anatomy a lot these past few days, and really been trying to focus more on the overall structure of the muscles and torso. The first drawing is one I doodled in English class today, the second one I just finished. My sister brought me an old Digivice she had found in her room that hadn't been opened yet. It works like one of those nano pets that used to be popular lol Still works and came with the instruction manual and everything still in the box!

For me what defines an anime and separates it from being a cartoon is the quality of the background artwork along with characters that are well designed, drawn and animated to look and act like real people. Yes, I know real people don't have really large eyes, but that's part of the anime visual style and it's often the detail in the eyes which bring a character to life. For me the other aspect that separates anime from cartoons is the storylines, anime always seems to me to have more serious and thoughtful stories that cartoons. Someone once said that cartoons are story driven and the story dictates how the characters act, while anime is more character driven and the actions of the characters directs the flow of the story.

Okay. So. I love reincarnation styled isekai. Girl/guy gets hit by unexpected incoming lorry or bus etc...gets reincarnated. We've seen that being done several times over....BUT... what if the anime is from the driver's perspective. And he goes around accidentally sending random people off and narrowly avoids jail and eventually becomes notorious and ends up in jail in season 2. It would start of as slice of life and then slowly change genre as his life goes from peaceful to hell.

I'm currently rewatching the absolute gem of a series known as Yuru Camp. Everything about this series is so good, the artwork, animation, background music and storyline are excellent. Then there's the wonderful cast, the quiet, softly spoken introverted solo camper Rin Shima and the energetic extroverted Nadeshiko Kagamihara make a perfect team. This series is just so enjoyable and such great fun to watch.

Hi hi! I'm here again, this is more of an art dump than anything, I didn't want to like spam the forum by posting these individually so I decided to showcase them in a single thread instead. Please bear with me, this is going to be long lol. Also, I have no clue why I was forced to put this in bold! : D it just refuses to let me un-bold it, so...yeah. I'll do a lil guide for the pieces below by numbering them! But first! I'll introduce you to the characters. Both are OCs of mine based on some anime media or other, the first being an actual show (Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE!) and the second a semi-popular otome game (Piofiore: Fated Memories/Episodio 1926). The former is a satire on the mahou shoujo genre and the latter is a moody mafia-drama set in the depths of 1920s Italy. Both are my main fandoms right now!٩(◕‿◕｡)۶ The brunette in the first couple of photos is Shizumoto Kaede, whom I did make a post about before, an 18 year old highschool student who poses as a boy to attend an all-male school. She does this as a means to escape a troubled home life; specifically an arranged marriage set up by her family. She’s a bit of a nerd, focusing mostly on studies as she tries her best to stay under the radar. I have several AUs for her (ranging from reluctantly heroic to being downright peer-pressured into being an idol) and ship her with, like…the entire cast of antagonists lol, she’s got a bit of a reverse harem o(≧∇≦o) Her defining trait is her clumsiness, which more often than not is outrageous enough to put her under the scrutiny of her academic peers. OC #2 is Camelia, a 21 year old subordinate of the Lao-Shu, which is a mafia family based in China that currently occupies the southern portion of a small town in Italy. Camelia is…kind of the opposite of what you'd expect from a mafioso. She's soft-spoken, innocent, painfully shy and harbors an incredibly embarrassing crush on the family head, Yang (peep the featured husbando on my profile uwu). She's another character who has a variety of AUs depending on the scenario. More often than not, she takes the role of Key Maiden–a sacrificial bride of sorts whose existence is the key to unearthing a sacred relic hidden in the outskirts of town. I stole this from the MC of the game, lmao. The town of Burlone is actually occupied by 3 of these mafia groups, and they aren't exactly on the best of terms with one another, which makes for some interesting dynamics. Both of these characters were used in my roleplaying endeavors for a good while. I'm absolutely down to try again if anyone is interested…however I'm really only looking to play against canon characters, and I know that's a tall order lol. But even if rp is off the table, I'd love to chat with you! Please don't be afraid to message! With all of this out of the way, I'll get to the art now (•̀⌄•́) 1. My latest work, another cell-shaded chibi piece featuring Kaede and her beloved bullies, twins Akihiko and Haruhiko who also happen to be insufferable and bratty idols. 2. More Idol Kaede, her outfit is based on the twins'. This is a comparison photo between the original 2021 drawing and the current 2023 one! Because Haru and Aki’s gimmicks are the sun and moon respectively, I pictured Kaede's motif being a star (/ω＼) 3. Kaede's reference sheet comparison between the 2021 and 2023 versions. New one is knee-up because I still suck at drawing shoes lmao 4. Battle Lover Kaede! Another comparison. This is her hero uniform (•̀⌄•́) Wom-san wants her to be a hero. Kaede does not want to be a hero. They are at an impasse. Can you imagine tripping and falling on your face mid-magical-girl-move? That's Kaede. 5. Camelia all dolled up~! She often dons some fancy outfits when gathering intel for Yang uwu 6. A dakimakura (body pillow) design of Camelia. This was a self indulgent piece, lol 7. A celebratory drawing I did for Yang's birthday (12/12) (≧ω≦) 8. A fake game screenshot~ the background is from Piofiore. I'm not the best at blending stuff together, but I think it came out alright 9. Some Christmas art of Camelia, I actually did this on Chirstmas eve （*＾ワ＾*） 10. (Bonus) A fully shaded self portrait chibi, complete with a Yang plushie and an actual outfit of mine~ (yes I forgot to color his shoes and they turned pink bc of the background, rip) 11. Heeeheh~ I was kinda too nervous to post here, but! I tried cell-shading some chibis and it turned out ok, so why not? Brunette is my beloved OC Shizumoto Kaede and the white-haired bob-cut fellow an equally beloved canon villain from season 1 of Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE!, Kusatsu Kinshiro. I am a shameless OC insert kind of person and Kaede is one of my absolute favorites. Having someone so clumsy that she's basically a walking hazard as a hero is just In short, she's my baby lol. You'll probably be seeing more of her here in the future~ Please, if possible keep criticism to yourself; I'm happy with this the way it is and can't make changes to it now anyway.

Ok, so these two are underage to be anyone's waifu and in my case they'd be granddaughterfu. (I think I'm allowed to post two because they're granddaughterfu not waifu)
