Neighbors?

So, not sure if there's a thread like this already or not. But neighbors! Do you have any and if so, do you enjoy them? Any complaints? Compliments?

I live in a townhouse. Its a 4 unit. I'm fortunate because I don't have anyone above or below me, but next to me. Regardless, I have been having issues with my new neighbor. He has a wife and 2 daughters. My issue is mainly with him. He's very loud. It sometimes is almost concerning to me or irritating. I've heard him yelling. Slamming doors. And it's weird. I've never been able to hear the previous neighbors. We share a wall along our staircases. So it's typically pretty quiet.

He's also just strange to me. '-' He leaves his front door open, no screen door or anything. And just sits on a bucket outside the door. We share a front porch and staircase. I don't typically judge people. But there's something just really off about him that makes me incredibly uncomfortable. It's potentially all the yelling and door slamming. I don't know.

People in general make me uncomfortable. xD

Anyways, what about y'all?

We live in a house. Obviously, we HAVE neighbours. I've just....never seen them. Haha

Honestly, I don't know many of my neighbors either. They all tend to keep much to themselves. I am close with my land ladies, however and they're technically my neighbors as well. xD

I've never seen much point to being all buddy buddy with neighbours anyway haha. Just kinda like, "kay, I live here, they live there. Tada."

In past experiences I found it useful, if only for the fact that we looked out for one another. I use to live alone, so it was comforting to know my neighbors kept an eye out for strange things lol. But I've never been the chatty type. It's more like, the occasional. "Hey, how are you? Nice weather" haha.

Well hmm... there is a massive farm house next to us and the people who live there are ok I guess besides the fact they would shoot your dog if it wen't into their field and on the other side there is a small house with very nice people so yeah I guess I like most of my neighbors

then they're not ok >:(

I live in a small and quite old neighborhood that looks cute and quiet... but it's not. My neihbors all suck, they are loud and have rotten kids that cause trouble every day. A couple of them also have illegal workshops on their roofs where they make stuff (one makes stuff like doors and windows etc and the other is a carpenter) and their tools and machines they use make SO. MUCH. NOISE. The only one I don't hate is the old lady next door, I used to visit her every day as a kid (I spent more time with her than with my own parents xD).

Generally though, our neighborhood is nice, it has many dogs (almost everyone has at least one) and most houses are small with 1-2 floors at most. Because it's one of the oldest neigborhoods around, the older residents all know each other so it's sort of like a village :P

Well that's what farmers do over here you kinda have to get used to it, but thankfully all the dogs around here are trained not to go into the fields.

The "neighbours" across the garden, so I don't know if you can call them neighbours, used to have a "search" light in their garden, ab-so-lu-te pain it was, you were trying to sleep, light would come on, and it was like it had suddenly become daylight, I could actually navigate my room and find stuff, it was that bright!

I think it was their cats that set it off, so same with Bunny, they're lucky I was vegetarian... actually, when they had that spotlight, I wasn't, oh well, I guess they're lucky I was too lazy to hunt down their cats :D!
