  1. Hi @Greeneyes It's a balance of making sure the signature is not larger than the header, we also have less width because the postbit is now on the left hand side of your posts. On the previous system it was the browser that scaled the height automatically (but the original image was still being downloaded in full) Can you attach your signature image here so I can review it? I may be able to make some adjustments to accommodate.
  2. Oh I see, maybe also to do with base64 images? They’re used as default (coloured letters) images for members without avatars. I see a few members without avatars on the list. Unfortunately it was taking too much activity away from the forums and was a moderation drain (had to check the archive daily and was very long to sift through at times). Nothing wrong with the chat itself but as the name implies we’re a forum first..
  3. Hi @PenguinO, welcome back. Yes we moved platforms so different interface and new theme. I see there are many clubs with animated GIFs as their logo and cover image so maybe that's the cause.. New HDN themes will be coming in due course.
  4. Hi Emily welcome to AF, hope you enjoy your stay here.
  5. Hi welcome to AF, what genres do you enjoy? Examples of previous anime titles you enjoyed would be helpful.
  6. Apologies for the downtime, had to finish off the migration of the anime community reviews. FINALLY DONE!

  7. @RyePotatoes and to all those that wrote community reviews prior to the changeover. They have now been moved across: https://animeforums.net/anime/ I do apologise sincerely for the delay and for having to close AF for a few hours to do this, to adjust the time-stamps I had to do this at the database level and did not want to risk leaving AF open whilst I was doing this. Thankfully that is the last step in the migration. Please feel free to check the anime pages for your reviews, any issues let me know. You can also browse the Anime pages alphabetically by scrolling down to the bottom and clicking the [A-Z] link. I will look into making this more clear in future. Moving forward, I can focus on new content and reviews now!
  8. Currently an issue with email notifications, will have a fix later today.

      And now fixed. :)

  9. Anime pages now back up, community reviews to be manually migrated across soon.

  10. Hi @RepentantSky I have been spam cleaning them on a daily basis, if I have missed any please don't hesitate to use the Report link as I get an instant email notification for reports. Having said that, I will be reviewing our guidelines regarding advertising. Currently we only allow it in the forums inside Creative Corner if you've reached 10 posts but we are getting a lot of people just ignoring that.
  11. I am still re-adding the old anime pages. Just ~23 to go though I have been adding sequels for some titles as I go through the list. Those that have been taking a peak will have noticed I am also adding PVs (preview videos) as a replacement for the full page background images (as pretty as they were, most titles were lacking them). Once all the anime pages are re-added I will then re-add the community reviews and then I can finally get this crossed off the list.. it has been on my list for quite sometime now. There is a issue though with the Reviews sidebar block, the latest ones are not showing at the top... i am getting it looked at as a priority. Fixed. The Bookmark feature is now back, you should be able to bookmark posts, images, galleries, etc. And can manage them in My Bookmarks on your top-right profile pic menu. Thanks @Gwen Much appreciated. This platform is definitely more fun to use based on the feedback we've had so far.
  12. Hi @Uhjinhyuk55 welcome to AF. I believe we have had one other member that served in the US Military at Fort Jackson (reserves or training, not sure) believe it was @Akame Hope you enjoy your stay here.
  13. @Hamsloth, Vol. 0 is a prequel to the first game (Vol. 1) so it's just a short chapter in comparison. There are three main games..
  14. Maybe The Asterisk War (Gakusen Toshi Asterisk) ? It was a futuristic setting. Claudia herself had two sabre weapons. But most of the series was focused around Julis (pink long hair) and Ayato... no pigtails though.
  15. Yes, one of my most favourite DEVA characters from Rakuen Tsuhou: Expelled from Paradise! Which reminds me I need to re-upload her screenshot gallery here.
  16. Saw it tonight. Was great! 8/10 It started a little slow though especially around Sakura. But the next two movies should definitely ramp it up. I've only seen Fate/Zero and Ufotable's UBW and was very pleasantly surprised with the way this route is going. But Saber gets in a big pinch! Indeed I was VERY surprised to see this sexy Rider servant class being very badass in this one compared to UBW. I would try to watch this one ASAP if you can.. the number of sessions have been dropping daily at HOYTS as it has been screening for almost a week now. Probably due to them screening No Game No Life Zero soon.
  17. Hi @Tonko, welcome to AF. It sounds like you're quite early with your anime journey,. The first few anime titles you watch definitely are the most memorable! I hope you enjoy your stay here. I quite liked Charlotte too, even if it was a bit short! If you're up for it, please feel free to write a review:
  18. Hi @elrond99, greetings from Australia. Welcome and hope you enjoy your stay here! Ooh! If you don't mind me asking which topic/content did you find us through Google?
  19. Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha is perhaps my most favourite magical girl series... I came into this franchise via the movies. I absolutely loved the first two movies (2nd As and 1st) then saw StrikerS afterwards which was just OK. So the third and fourth movies are called Reflection and Detonation, and unlike the first two movies which which condensed the TV series, these movies have a completely new story.. Reflection - Plot: This film, unlike 1st and 2nd, have a brand new original story using elements from other media, such as the manga Nanoha Force (for Bardiche and Raising Heart new design) and the PsP game Gears of Destiny, as the Florian sisters are introduced here. It's the first part of a two-part story. Reflection actually screened in Japanese cinemas back in July 22, so we still have a fair wait until the Blu-rays come out which we will hopefully start to see fansubs / localised releases coming shortly afterwards. First PV: Second PV: Given that 2nd As came out WAY back in 2012 I am REALLY HAPPY to see the Nanoha franchise is FINALLY continuing to grow with these new movies. @SanguineTear
  20. Pumped for anime movies: No Game No Life Zero and Fate/stay night: Heaven's feel. (o^.^o)

@MetalSonic30 Fate/Zero followed by Fate/stay night UBW (both by ufotable) is what I started with. It's a large franchise but from an anime perspective I really love how ufotable has done it. If you click the titles in this post you can see the trailers, definitely give it a go if you like the feel. ;)

  21. Was going to wait until the Blu-ray release but didn't know this movie was getting a theatrical release outside of Japan! Here in Australia it's coming in November 30 in Hoyts cinemas. Another one to definitely watch.
  22. Wow, how fast time flies... I'm really happy to see that Part 1 of the film is in cinemas here in Australia (Hoyts) via Madman (screening since Nov 16) I will definitely need to see it this coming week!!
  23. Hi @RyePotatoes yes I will be working on that today. Was delayed due to my earlier absence, definitely want to get this done.
  24. I was actually aiming to watch this before watching Your Name (Kimi no na wa) in the theatre as the body swapping plot sounded similar. That unfortunately didn't happen and it's still on my to watch list. It definitely sounds like it's worth watching so I'll try to watch it soon..
  25. NEKOPARA is getting an anime OVA release thanks to a successful kickstarter that raised $963,376, well over their $100,000 goal. Such is the power of anime neko girls? For those that played the NEKOPARA VN games, or those that are fans of anime neko cat girls, I'm sure this will be an absolute treat for you. It's due to be released sometime in December, 2017. The character designs look really great!
