Currently reading "Brave New World" This book is for my Honors English class, and we are digging deeper into Utopian societies, and my teacher explained how this book is just like that. My brother takes the same class i'm in (But he is a Junior *supposed to be a senior*) and he takes AP English, and soon CCP English which will get him his college credits . My English teacher teaches AP, IB, and CCP English, so me and my brother have the same teacher, despite us being in different grades. My brother read "Brave New World" In the past when he was a Sophomore, and he said...and I quote "HATED" the book. Considering it makes no sense and it's hard to keep up with. Now, I am going to begin reading chapters 1-2, since it's a assignment for my class, and I'll be the judge whether the book is good or not. But that will take me some time to get through the ENTIRE book. Anyhoo -- Have you read "Brave New World" ? If so, what are YOUR thoughts on it? Maybe give me a mini review to see what challenges I have ahead? Much appreciated, enjoy your reads!

Welcome newbie

Oh boy here I go... Well, I've been suffering with chronic depression ever since I was 9, and before I go on, this is not something I am asking for sympathy on, this is just me getting my emotions out there. Life has been a struggle, existing has been a struggle. So really, not so sure how I feel anymore to be honest. I'm very numb-- yet..very..sad. My days are never enjoyable, so I sorta exist without a purpose in my opinion. But overall how I feel is..stressed, down, numb, tired, and unable to enjoy existence. FYI -- I am in therapy, so please do not seek help for me.

Holy cow-- yeah my brother was talking about this too! I've known Blizzard for awhile now from their own games, mostly from Overwatch, and hearing this news is INSANE! Really wasn't expecting this... But, as we know, Microsoft is...well..HAS always been a big company, and this just brings them to the top even more.

I never enjoyed math class. Everytime I had math, it was always 1st period, that being said I always dreaded math. I'm a Sophomore in high school, and my schedule involves my normal geometry class the a plus math class. Meaning two extra math classes to go to. Now this makes my time in school, in my opinion, DEPRESSING. So here I am now, I didn't experience this the way you did, but I feel you on the same level.

I finished Blue Giant (1-2) now I'm finishing up (re-reading) Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer) (1) Good stuff! Also, HIGHLY recommend Blue Giant !!!
