If you liked the first series you'll probably like the other two. Series 1 & 2 are I think the better ones, series 3 while being a bit repetitive in background story terms does have a lot more in terms of intrigue and scheming on the part of the various factions in the school. The third series gives a lot a insight into her character and why she acts as she does. In the third series we find out a lot more about his background and early life which explains a lot about how he acts. He's quite an interesting person and not quite as nice as he appears and is quite willing to use people for his own ends. This isn't the sort of series I usually watch and while I wouldn't say I enjoyed watching it I'm glad I did because it was an interesting story.

That's so sad, I think the worst thing you can do is rob a child of their childhood. I'll always be grateful to my parents for letting me have a childhood, although once I became a teenager my mother would make the occasional remark that I ought to behave more appropriately for my age, my father on the other hand wasn't too bothered about it. Ah yes, catch-up time - with the added advantage of having money to do the things you wanted to do.

The transition from "teenager" to "adult" can be difficult. People suddenly have expectations of different behaviours and attitudes from you. So just take comfort from this wonderful quote from C.S.Lewis: “When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up.”

Youth

I binge watched all three series last week so I'd be interested to hear what you thought of it. You might want to finish watching it all before reading my comments a few posts above this one.

I now finished watching the second season of The Dangers in my Heart. I wasn't too impressed with the first season, so I didn't expect much from the second, but I thought that it was generally better than the first and even had some good scenes and amusing incidents, but overall I found it a bit dull and tedious.

I'm definitely going to watch: Sound Euphonium. season 3. Yuru Camp. season 3. This looks interesting: Train to the End of the World. I might give these a watch: Jellyfish Can't Swim In The Night. A Condition Called Love.

More like ground to a halt because there's not many bookshops in my area that sell this sort of books. Actually, there's not many bookshops left in my area. Mail order adds to the prices and the supply is a bit random with only a few odd volumes.
