I tried watching My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Level999, I tried, but I just couldn't get into it. I don't think it's a bad series, but I think you really need to be a gamer, or at least have some understanding of the gamer world to follow the story.

While I wouldn't put Eikoden in my worst anime list, I was very disappointed with it. As a fan of the original series I was expecting something a lot better. The same goes for the two OAVs. I've kept both Eikoden and the OAVs in my collection for the sake of completeness, but I don't watch them any more. I think both are perfect examples of why a series shouldn't be continued past its natural conclusion.

Today I finished rewatching one of my favourite anime series, Someday's Dreamers. This series has excellent artwork and animation, a great storyline, an interesting and believable cast of characters and some really beautiful background music. I've lost track of how many times I've watched this series, but I really enjoy watching it every time I do.

Personally, I find that watching the news on TV and reading the daily papers is depressing enough without anime adding to it.

How could I have forgotten Pai? 3x3 Eyes was the second anime I saw and the first anime series I bought, I even bought some of the manga. It was also the first anime series I bought the soundtrack CDs for.
