  1. I went shopping this morning, then did a bit of tidying up in the garden in the afternoon, but didn't get much done because it started raining again.
  2. That idea will never catch on people will just end up sitting indoors. Going out and looking for the numbered pieces of meese poop gets people out of the house so they can get some healthy exercise which is better for them..... unless of course they are hit by falling meese poop! That would certainly ruin your day, and your igloo !!!
  3. I like building model railways. I'm currently 6 and a bit years into a project to build a model of a complete welsh narrow gauge railway set somewhere in North Wales. The layout is 009, that is it uses 9mm gauge track but 4mm/ft scale. It's great fun creating my own little world. I'm also interested in photography, both still and video, I'll photograph or film anything that looks interesting, but especially trains. Any sort of trains, I prefer steam trains, but modern trains are just as acceptable.
  4. Yes, I had a quiet but enjoyable day.
  5. You're right, this whole thing gets stranger and weirder. Not only do they drop moose poop out of planes they take the trouble to paint numbers on each piece first, surely there must have been something else they could use to paint numbers on. But then again I guess they have lots of meese so there's always a plentiful supply . I don't know much about Alaska but I think it's a fairly sparsely populated area so I guess the game could be played over a wide area, depending on the height the plane flies. I think this is called "being creative" And they do fade away eventually, unless some "influencer" on Tik-Tok decides it's fun then everyone does it, unitl the next crazy stunt comes along. A TV programme about the strange things Earth people do is probably very popular somewhere in the more fashionable arm of the galaxy.
  6. @Sakura Thank you so much for this it's absolutely wonderful.
  7. I looked at the news link you shared and that looked very bad and I hope it doesn't come your way. Stay safe.
  8. Thank you. Yes, I had a good time for the rest of the day. Age as they say is only a number!
  9. There are, in my opinion, two excellent isekai series that have a good storyline and plot, but they both date from well before the term "isekai" was invented. Magic Knight Rayearth and Fushigi Yugi.
  10. It's fairly bright, sunny and 18C all of which suits me fine.
  11. While I agree with you that a lot of series these days contain a lot of fan service, and I think it was worse back in the 80s an 90s, there are quite a lot of series these days that have good storylines and little or no fan service. The ones that come most readily to mind are: A Place Further Than The Universe, A Sign of Affection, Aquatope on White Sand, Hyouka, Chihayafuru and Sound Euphonium. If I thought a bit harder I could come up with a few more.
  12. For me the worst and most overrated genre is isekai, closely followed by harem series.
