I tried using a scented laundry product once, and found that I really didn't like the smell of it.

14C at the moment. It's a bit overcast and chilly, but it should improve later on in the day.

Hello fellow anime loves and otakus: I'm new:bit abt me
Animedragon replied to Otaku's topic in Introduce Yourself
Welcome to the Forum. Pull up a cushion, or a chair if sitting on the floor isn't your thing, and make yourself at home. -
Thank you, I was pleased with the way it turned out.

I won't put up any Christmas decorations until after the first Sunday in Advent. Today I did a load of washing and generally did some tidying up around the house

What are you waiting for? (Warning: Possible spoilers)
Animedragon replied to Clayton's topic in Anime Discussion
I quite like some "idol" anime, but not all of it. As you say GBC got a lot of hype when it was released so I'm curious to see if it was worth the hype. -
Ah, yes I understand your hesitation to resubscribe to CR, if that had happened to me I be wary as well. From the information on their website it looks like you can cancel online without any need to deal with someone in customer services.

It's bright and sunny, but a bit cold and I may have to consider putting the heating on.
-
What's up is that I should be downstairs unpacking the bags from my little holiday last week and deciding what needs to go in washing machine and what just needs putting away, but I'm still upstairs on here posting things instead. But it's so much more fun than doing the laundry

What is your favorite anime Decade
Animedragon replied to Kirika_Madeleine's topic in Anime Discussion
I don't really have a favourite decade, they all have their good and not so good points. I've been watching anime since the middle of the 1990s and the back then vast majority I watched was on VHS and later on DVD and quite often I'd buy a recently released tape or disk of a series and go onto a forum to discuss it and give my opinion of it, only to find that it wasn't all that new and was in fact several years old and no one was talking about it any more. So which decade series belongs to was rather blurred for me. -
A large plushie of your favourite anime character.

The feelings of sadness and loneliness are two of the worst things you can experience because so often you just can't see any light at the end of the tunnel which just adds to the stress and ultimately to a lack of mental well-being and so often no one will really listen and understand how you feel. I've lived on my own for the last 6 years since my parents passed away and while I've always been a bit of a loner, recently I've started to feel a bit lonely especially in the evenings now it get dark around 5pm so I have an idea of what you're suffering, sadly I have no answers. I do find that I'm spending more time on this forum, when I first joined I was a bit cautious and wary but over time I've come to appreciate the sense of community here that is totally lacking on other social media sites. I enjoy taking part in the silly little games and sharing my GFX with people who appreciate them and I find that helps.

It's amazing how she manages to include an animated gif inside a static GFX. It's truly the mark of a professional.

And I think a lot of that criticism came from the freeloaders who were annoyed that their source of free anime had been cut off. I've only been a subscriber for just under 2 years and find it excellent value, here in the UK I pay £5.99 a month, which is about the cost of a decent Sunday lunch in my local pub/restaurant or a monthly magazine. Worry not, I didn't think you were trying to start a fight or debate, I thought you were just giving your opinion and view point which is one of the things this forum is here for. One of the nice things about AF is that we accept other people's views and opinions even if we don't always agree with them. In the nearly 3 years I've been here I've never seen anyone get flamed for their comments and I've never received any nasty replies. Which is more than I can say for other social media sites I've used. CR have a whole page on their website about how to cancel your CR membership and it looks painless and straightforward. How to cancel a membership was one of the things I checked out very carefully before I subscribed as I'd heard horror stories about people who subscribed to things and found the company wouldn't let them cancel. With CR you get a month's free trial, so if you find it's not for you, you can cancel after 1 month and owe them nothing.

Season 2 of The Angel Next Door. All the Rascal Does Not Dream movies. Girl's Band Cry (which CR will stream starting this week) Madoka Magica - Walpurgisnacht Rising (which I'll probably have to watch several times before I understand the story, if Rebellion is anything to go by) -
Gogoanime sounds very much like an illegal pirate site streaming unlicensed content and most likely is violating copyrights. If I remember correctly, back in 2006 Cruncyroll was a fansub distro site offering downloads of anime series, basically a pirate site offering illegal copies for download. Since then Cruncyroll has become a legitimate anime streaming company only offering officially licenced content, I've had a subscription to their service for nearly two years now and not had any problems.
