Evasive Action

The word "Forum" means "a public meeting place for open discussion" and this is the aspect of web forums that a lot of members forget. There seems to be a tendency on web forums, and not just this one, for members to post but not comment on other member's posts. If someone posts a comment about something and it gets no 'likes' or replies it's not really an incentive for them to keep posting, and that sadly can lead to a forum closing down. Anyway, that's my 2 (insert currency of your choice) worth so Welcome aboard AF. Pull up a cushion, or a chair if sitting on the floor isn't your thing, and I hope you'll like it enough here to make it your new home.

While I haven't seen this series your comment points out one of my biggest complaints about final battles with the chief bad guy. Yes I know he's the Chief Bad Guy and he's going to be hard to beat, him laughing off the first couple of attacks against him is OK, but for it to happen over and over again and stretches the battle out over almost the whole episode I find it very tedious and strains the credibility of the story and I begin to wonder if the final battle is just filler to stretch out the series run time.

I agree with that. If there's not people wanting to go past you during the film there's someone noisily eating something or a group making what they think are funny comments. If you're really 'fortunate' you'll have some bored pre-teen kicking the back of your seat and if you actually ask its parents to tell it to stop they get annoyed with you for having the audacity to complain about their little darling.

I've been rewatching Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai. It's quite a strange series, although intriguing might be a better word for it. The artwork and animation are of good quality and has a good cast of characters. The storyline is well written, but you need to stay alert as this is a series where you have to pay attention to the story. It could be called a Slice of Life show, but few people will have a life like this, it's more of a drama and romance series with a generous helping of supernatural happenings as the main characters encounter a series of strange events in their lives and work through them to find the resolutions. Overall this is an enjoyable series, but nowhere near as light-hearted as the title might suggest, indeed the story gets more serious as the series proceeds.

It's getting fairly cold in the mornings, so much so that I'm beginning to start considering the possibility of having the central heating on for a couple of hours in the morning. But once the Sun is up and doing its thing the temp improves quite a bit.

That's a pretty specialist requirement. One option would be to use Google image search, if you drop an image of an anime character's head into the search box Google will show you lots of images of that character from different angles and with different expressions. I'm not overly impressed with the line up so far, it seems a bit isekai heavy.

It's a bit dull and overcast here and while the thermometer says it's 19C it's quite windy which makes it feel a lot cooler.
