  1. That sounds interesting, Babylon 5 was one of my favourite TV shows. I've got a large B5 poster on my bedroom wall and models of Babylon 5 and a Starfury in my living room. Somewhere in the loft I've also got all 5 seasons on VHS, but I doubt either of the two VHS players I've got still work.
  2. It that case. May the Forth Be With You.
  3. Each to their own indeed, we all like different series, but we all like anime. That one appeared in my YouTube feed yesterday, as you say it's too cute. But on the other hand I'm not averse to a bit of cute, and word is that CR has it so I might just give it a watch.
  4. I'm currently re-watching the second series of Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions. I always enjoy watching this anime because it has such a great cast of characters and the interactions between them are often hilarious, but underneath the craziness there is serious aspect that acts to prevent the series descending into total silliness.
  5. Ah, that old chat-up line put down: Guy: "Where have you been all my life?" Girl: "I wasn't born for most of it !"
  6. A man went into a shop and complained to the shopkeeper that the watch he'd bought from him in a sale lost 15 minutes every hour. The shopkeeper looked at him and replied, "didn't you see the sign that says, Sale offer 25% off".
  7. It is indeed a really good anime. I like humour as Makoto's attempts to change things go wrong and how the story changes when she realises the serious nature of her actions.
  8. I actually remembered to do that this morning.
  9. I've heard a lot of good things about this movie. I understand that a UK Blu-ray release is confirmed, but no release date has been announced.
  10. I'm currently rewatching series 1 of Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions. It's got some interesting characters an is great fun to watch. The interactions between the characters provide plenty of laughs, but underneath it all there is a serious story.
  11. Since my last posting I've done a bit of research, and I think you might be correct.
  12. That looks very much like Mio Nishizono from Little Busters, she always carried a parasol and the uniform style looks about right too.
  13. Back in the 70s I used to create cardboard cut-out models like that. They were quite popular at children's holiday clubs. One of the ones I made was for the Apollo CSM, but my Lunar Lander was far too complicated for the children. The chocolate bar looks good, did they do them for any of the other characters?
  14. I saw that one advertised on Crunchy's front page and thought it looked interesting, so I might add it to my list and give it a try.
  15. That sounds like my attempts to find my way somewhere without the aid of my sat-nav.
  16. That all sounds like great fun. Although the complexity of the maths would hurt my brain. (Maths and I are not good friends )
  17. I've now finished re-watching Akebi's Sailor Uniform which is a wonderful little series, brilliantly told and with beautiful artwork and animation. The adventures of Komichi Akebi as she starts at her new school wearing her sailor uniform and makes new friends will bring a smile to your face and brighten up your day. This definitely an underrated and underappreciated series.
  18. I think you may mean Magic Knight Rayearth. It's a good series with lots of action and some great background music. There's two series and both are enjoyable, series 2 follows on from series 1 and has a slightly more serious storyline.
