My mother wasn't really as scary as I made it look, she was a very kind, loving and caring person, but just very determined, my father was indeed an awesome dude. Both have now sadly passed away, still loved and still missed.

It was OK this evening so it looks like it was a temporary glitch. I had a relatively slow connection and data limits until December last year when my service provider made me an offer I couldn't refuse for a faster unlimited service so now I can watch online.

Back in the early 60's one of my local newsagents stocked a few DC and Marvel comics and my friends and I really enjoyed reading them. I preferred the DC ones because they had Batman, Superman and the Legion of Super Heroes and I amassed quite a stash of them. Sadly my mother disapproved of them and regarded them as "American trash", and when my mother disapproved of something she disapproved of it big time and I was eventually persuaded/forced to get rid of them all. She didn't like anime either, but there was nothing she could do about my anime collection. My father on the other hand would sometimes read my DC comics and was quite happy to watch the occasional anime film.

You can usually share YouTube videos by including their URL in the body of your message. Although some video sharing is restricted by their owner and some can't be viewed in all countries. It's also best not to go over the top when sharing video links.

Sounds like parts of our railway network, back in 2010 most of Southern England's rail network was totally shut down due to a few inches of snow. The pic shows the totally blank departure board at London Victoria, usually one of London's busiest stations at that time of the morning.

It was a bit weird, it only seemed to affect that series as the message went on to offer several other similar series I could watch.

I had a bit of a shock this evening. I went to watch another couple of episodes of White Album on CR and a notice appeared saying something like "This series is unavailable to view". I wasn't too upset as I'm only continuing with the series out of curiosity about how much more of a mess some of the characters can make of their lives. I checked back in a couple of hours later and it was available again, so there was probably some sort of server issue.

A good few years back I was on a forum that had a group of people on it that looked down on dub watchers and regarded them as second class anime fans. I thought such an elitist attitude was totally wrong, and still do, there's no such thing as first or second class anime fans, we should all be free to watch in whatever format we enjoy best without anyone judging us.

It's a bit dull and overcast and chilly. The weather man said that this week we would have temperatures in the 10C to 13C range, they've changed their minds and now say this week and next week it will 7C to 8C every day.

I much prefer subtitles, indeed these days I only watch subs. However it wasn't always like that because when I started watching everything was VHS and almost everything was dubbed, subs, when you could find them were more expensive. Anime distributors always claimed that dubs were cheaper, but I never quite understood this because for a dub you had to get someone to write the English dialogue, hire voice actors, hire a recording studio etc. Then DVDs came along, which could have both sub and dub and all of a sudden the distributors started releasing series sub only because it was cheaper that way. Anyway, after watching several series subtitled I decided that I preferred to listen to the original Japanese cast rather than the American cast. I've now now become so used to watching subs that I've reached the point where I don't read them word for word, my brain just absorbs the subs with me needing to consciously read them. Of course the big problem with watching subtitled series is that when you look away from the screen the characters stop speaking English.

Oh yes! After I left school I was having a turn out of school related rubbish stuff and I found an old exercise book from my time in junior school, when I read some of it I wondered why, and how, I have the nerve to write such cringe-worthy rubbish in a school book for my teacher to read. I comprehensively destroyed the document so that nobody else could find it and use it against me. I'm really glad there was no such thing as the Internet and forums when I was younger.

Here in the UK many people aspire to own their own home, and sadly many don't realise their dream of home ownership. I think that buying your own house or apartment comes from a desire to have somewhere that is "your place", it's difficult to actually put into words but it's somewhere to come home to that is yours and yours alone. And of course it is an investment, once you've paid off the mortgage it's all yours, and house prices continue to rise so as time goes by it becomes more and more valuable, but if you just rent a house it doesn't matter how many years you pay in rent the house is never going to be yours.

I suspect that what series you can watch in which country depends on the licensing agreements between CR and the owners of the rights to the series.

Cloudy, but bright and top temp 12C, so not all that warm, but not really cold either. The weather forecast says that the temp will stay in the 10-12C range for the next few days.

I've started to watch White Album, I'm six episodes in but I'm having difficulty finding a reason to continue watching it. The basic plot is that the main character's girlfriend is about to become an idol singer, the two of them seem committed to each other, but her production company seem to want to keep them apart. Then there's another singer who appears to sometimes help them get together and other times tries to replace the girlfriend, and there's two other girls who seek the guys help, but I'm not sure what their motives are. The whole plot is a mess.
