It's been bright, sunny and 18C today. I didn't go out in it, I was having a lazy do-nothing day

Oh, I had that one quite often, and some people did get nasty about it. One even sent a formal complaint about me to the building facilities manager because they'd sent the job at 12noon and because I was at lunch they didn't get it back until 1:30pm half an hour after their meeting started their complaint rather backfired on them because my employer was contracted to provide print services and there were various service level agreements in the contract that defined turn round times. So the FM looked at the details and said "The SLA for a job of that size is 4 working hours and you got it back in an hour and a half, I must congratulate the print room for turning you job round so quickly". I also had the "Ive forgotten my presentation materials" thing fortunately for him I wasn't busy so he got them printed while he waited and it was only a very small job. I had one guy come to my counter early in the morning begging for my help because he'd ordered a data projector for his training class and had been given an old style overhead projector, fortunately he had his presentation on a USB stick so I was able to print him some OHP transparencies.

I've done nothing today. I got up late and spent the day just pottering around the house, watching anime and posting messages on here .

It sounds like you have some, er, "interesting" jobs from your customers. I worked in an in-house print unit so all my customers were company employees not members of the public so most of the stuff I printed was boring old company reports and such like. Some of the training manuals were interesting especially when I worked for the telecommunications company, but there was little of interest when I worked for a finance type company. That's not to say there weren't some interesting experiences. At one time we were a combined print and mail room operation and one day while I was printing a document for a guy he asked for a same day courier as the document had to be with his client by 5pm that day, this was at about 3pm, so I called the mail room supervisor over who asked the guy where he wanted the document delivered, to which the guy gave an address in Rio de Janeiro! He was furious when told that it wasn't possible to deliver a document from England to Brazil in two hours! Then there was the person who sent a job down 5 minutes before the start of their meeting and got quite annoyed when told they couldn't have it in 5 minutes. I had to carefully explain that my machine could print 50 copies a minute and as their document had 50 pages it would take 1 minute to print 1 copy and as they wanted 30 copies it would take 30 minutes to print the job. They didn't quite grasp this and asked me if I could try and print it quicker. Christmas time was fun because the company sent out boxes of chocolates to some of its customers, we printed the address labels and helped the mail room guys with the packaging. The company always bought too many boxes of chocs and we got to keep the left overs

I'm feeling a lot better today. I had a good nights sleep , I went to bed at 10:45pm and didn't wake up until 8:00am this morning.

That sounds like a lot of fun, I hope it all goes well. In my last year at school I helped out with the school play, but as a technician not a performer.

I want to know that as well. Reading this topic makes me wonder what goes on in the world of RS.

It's a fascinating place to visit and all the greenery makes it a look a really nice peasant and tranquil place, but in reality I don't think there would have been much, if any, greenery when it was working and it certainly wouldn't have been tranquil!! That TV would have bee state-of-the-art at the time and that TV like the record player/radio unit opposite would have been quite expensive items, so the people living there in the 1950s would have been fairly well off. Health & Safety wasn't a thing back in those days.

CR have it along with the rest of the series. Today I finished the prequel Konosuba An Explosion in this Wonderful World it was good fun to watch and I liked the way it ended. Overall I've really enjoyed watching the four series and the movie of this anime, it'll definitely be on my rewatch list

I'm feeling cold and shivery, so I think I may be coming down with something

Yes, waking up early and going back to sleep again or getting up early then going back to bed feels good at the time, but when I wake up the second time I feel tired and worse than I would had I stayed up. But I find it takes a LOT of will power to get up when I wake up and stay up . PS. Sunrise here is 5:00AM this time of year.

I'm not 100% awake yet, I only woke up about 2 hours ago, and I've got important stuff to do today.
