  1. Here's a bit more of my Photoshop fun.
  2. I have quite short hair, and to be honest, there's not much of it left on top. I comb my hair every morning, even when I'm not going out anywhere because I don't like the feel of bed hair.
  3. Attorney: Doctor, how many of your autopsies have you performed on dead people? Witness: All of them. The live ones put up too much of a fight.
  4. While I didn't have a lot of the stuff kids today have I still had lots of fun with my friends. Also the world was a bit safer back then, can you imagine parents today letting 5 year olds roam the local streets on their bikes and go to the park on their own?
  5. Apart from over-using some of it I generally looked after my stuff, I had to really this was early to mid 1950's the war hadn't been over that long and although rationing was ended in 1954 some things were apparently still hard to get, and my parents didn't have a lot of money. Every Sunday my family and my aunt and uncle's family had Sunday lunch at grandma and grandpa's house. I thought it was just a family tradition, but years later I found out it was because my parents couldn't afford to buy a proper Sunday lunch.
  6. No. The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten.
  7. I've watched it twice*. It's an interesting series with an unusual take on the 'people with special powers' theme. It also has a great ending. * First time on CR. Then I bought the DVD and watched it on that.
  8. According to my parents I was pretty hard on that loco, I kept it and its two coaches running round and round its little circle of track for hours and hours. I wouldn't be surprised if the motor was burnt out due to over use.
  9. I've now finished watching Just Because. At heart it's a high school Slice of Life series centring on five students in their final few months of school as they juggle studying for their entrance exams and sorting out their relationships. The story is, in a way, nothing special but the way the story is told and paced along with its wonderfully detailed artwork and excellent animation makes it a very enjoyable series to watch. The railway enthusiast in me particularly liked the monorail dangle-way.
  10. This is one of the oldest things I have, it's my very first model locomotive it was given to me when I was 4 and is now 66 years old, it no longer works of course. The plastic bodywork is a couple of years younger because the loco fell off the table a couple of years after I was given it and broke. My father got me a new body for it from the manufacturer but it was a plain unpainted black one. When I was around 12 or 13 I had a go at painting it, I suppose it's not a bad paint job considering my age at the time. It's a 00 model and 11 inches long.
  11. Welcome aboard the forum. Pull up a cushion, or a chair if sitting on the floor isn't your thing, and make yourself at home.
  12. Thanks for the compliments, I'm pleased that you like my efforts. All the photos are my own,
  13. GAH!!! It's raining again!!! What happened to the warm sunshine we had yesterday??
  14. Here's one of my Photoshop creations. Of course there's not really a railway crossing the drawbridge of Bodiam Castle, but it would be interesting if there was.
  15. Definitely anime for a day! I played a few video games way back on my 8 bit Atari 800, but never played any on my Atari ST or my PC. Eat at a restaurant or eat at home?
  16. I went to an anime convention every year for nine years I think the first was in 2002. Why did I stop? Several reasons really, the main ones being a change in personal circumstances and the realisation that most of the other attendees were young enough to be my children or even grandchildren. What do you think of electric cars?
