  1. My favourite art styles are those created by Hayao Miyazaki and Makoto Shinkai.
  2. Personally, I dislike swearing and nothing is more likely to make me turn off the TV than watching a programme or film where the scriptwriters have such a small vocabulary and poor command of language that they have to frequently resort to multiple variations of a well known four letter Anglo-Saxon word.
  3. After the seriousness of of Maundy Thursday and Good Friday it is indeed a fine Easter Sunday morning. The Son has risen and the Sun is shining.
  4. Baked potato with baked beans and a slice of ham.
  5. Welcome aboard the Forum. Pull up a cushion, or a chair if sitting on the floor isn't your thing, and make yourself at home.

  7. Welcome aboard the Forum. Pull up a cushion, or a chair if sitting on the floor isn't your thing, and make yourself at home. For SoL & Romcom I'd recommend; Horimiya, The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten, Sounds of Life, A Sign of Affection. I'd also highly recommend A Place Further Than The Universe. (which is not Sci-Fi despite its title)
  8. With the 2024 winter anime series ending it's time for the binge watching to start!! First up was A Sign of Affection. I found this to be a wonderfully wholesome Slice of Life series about Yuki, a young girl who had been deaf from birth and lived all her life communicating by sign language and writing messages on her phone, tablet or notebook then into her silent world came Itsuomi, a guy a few years older than her who falls in love with her and takes her out of her little silent world and introduces her to a whole wide world that she didn't know anything about. This series has an excellent storyline and a good cast of believable characters, I especially liked the sensitive way they handled Yuki's character and the way her lack of hearing impacted the way she interacted with the those around her.
