  1. Kemono no Souja Erin. I'm actually watching it atm, and it's an amazing show
  2. Good sir, would you be so kind to change my name from Zacchino to Salome?
  3. As long as it doesn't feel completely out of context, I don't think a show can take something "too far". To give you an example, Hellsing Ultimate established itself as a gore feast from the very beginning; hence it can get away with so many brutal scenes without the viewer being particularly shocked or surprised. Shows like Blood-C or Another might catch you off-guard when you first see one of those "brutal scenes", but you'll get used to them as they gradually increase in number. Overkill might be something like the ending of School Days (which wasn't realistic at all so pls).
  4. Oh man, I did all the time. When the school year started, I would carefully plan the days I'm not going in advance to prevent people noticing that I call in sick a lot. Funny enough, there was always at least one person in my class that attended even less than me so people didn't notice anyway.
  5. Honestly, in terms of having really high expectations only to be utterly disappointed, Cowboy Bebop might be my #1. I get it, the show is cool, it has jazz, it's in space. So what? I really disliked the way the anime is structured. First it's episodic, then suddenly they introduce the main villain, then it gets back to being episodic and finally they squeeze a half-assed story into the last few episodes. Also, almost every episode seems to follow the same formula, and there's hardly any connection between them. The show makes it really hard to care.
  6. Basically all of Blood-C. The show itself is pretty bad and boring, but there's a compilation of all the deaths on Youtube. Good stuff. If you want to see a bunch of giant rabbits devouring a whole city in the most brutal ways possible, that's the show for you.
  7. Haven't seen yet so... 10/10 Shinsekai Yori

    Visual Novel Talk

Ahh, Visual Novels. Honestly, I feel in love with them, and they might as well be my favorite medium at the moment. It's like a perfect fusion between anime and manga. My favorite one is Dies Irae. My first one was Saya no Uta. I didn't know anything about Visual Novels back then, so the sexual content caught me QUITE off guard. Was pretty messed up stuff, but I liked it nonetheless. I thought the characters were a bit meh, but it was some serious edge-of-my-seat-stuff nonetheless. A few months later, I bought Higurashi on Steam. Loved it. Well, and now I'm here. I'm currently reading Zombie no Afureta Sekai de Ore Dake ga Osowarenai and Zanjibaru. Although it's anything but bad, I put the latter on-hold for now. After finishing Zombie no blahblah, I'm probably going to start the motherf*cker I've been dying to read for almost a year now - Subarashiki Hibi.
  9. Oh boy. Dropped it, this show is abysmal. The whole setting is ridiculous in itself. A school where your whole future is based on gambling? And everyone just goes with it? Great, really. I also don't get why people deem this a psychological anime. What exactly is so psychological about it? Is it because seemingly every single character seems to have some serious mental issues? The visuals for the opening are lovely though, I'll give it that. Also, the girls are thicc, would not not fap.
  10. 3-4, I'd say. I go along well with almost everyone I meet, and I barely have any enemies. People also seem to like me. Well, I get that impression at least. The reason I don't score myself higher(?) is because I actually prefer being by myself, having it quiet. When I happen to meet one of my friends, I usually end up going for a drink with them or so, but I hardly ever do something with them of my own accord.
  11. Slice-of-life + comedy. The worst combo possible. Sleeping aid every single time, and the Japanese humor really isn't all that funny. Even worse when the show has episodic structure, oh lord, the pain! I have yet so see the appeal of cute girls doing cute things, I guess. Another thing I hate, and something that seems to be increasing nowadays, is those shows that deem themselves as "psychological", but all they do is showing us insane characters making bizarre grimaces while laughing like madmen. And last but not least, I HATE those goody two-shoes, moral preaching protagonists with brown hair. They are the spawn of hell, and seemingly every LN-adaption has at least one of them. Make it stop, please!
  12. Kumagawa Misogi. My husbando. Be jealous. [spoiler=perfect lunatics don't exi-]
  13. Hugging strangers is weird, but cute anime girls are an exception, I guess.
  14. The aerosol cans are actually filled with drugs, and they spray each other in order to get high. The whole graffiti thing is just a cover up.
