That reminds me of when Robin Williams went on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson one night, and he was saying that he was going to London for a time to promote Happy Feet 2. A member of the audience let out this excited "Woooow!" when he said he was going to England, and Robin started to poke a little fun at it and said, "Once you get over the language barrier, it's okay!"

Started watching Love After World Domination. I cracked up the entire time they transformed into the Gelato 5 and then did their individual attacks. I'll keep going with this show for now. The first ep was pretty amusing, and I like the concept of mortal enemies falling in love with each other and trying to actually date and spend time together while hiding it from everybody else.

I'm not too good at picking up a language just from listening to audio, apart from the most basic and frequently occurring words (nani, kawaii, hai, baka, etc.). Perhaps if I was further along in my learning it might be different. I've learned both hiragana and katakana, but now I'm mainly using Wani-Kani to learn kanji, in conjunction with the Genki textbook to learn basic grammar points. Due to work and other responsibilities (plus other interests as well), I'm not able to devote as much time to it as I'd like, but I try to make a little leeway when I'm able.

Kinda coming at it from a synthwave angle, but... Retro Zebra, perhaps? Or Retro Zombie? Full disclaimer: I'm not great at naming things.

Got this along with the first 2 volumes of the manga. Should keep me busy for a little while.

How to handle family reunions.

I've watched a few videos from this channel of the different artists they've uploaded in the past, but I didn't realize they had a TV show going now. Thanks for sharing! I'll have to keep my eye on this as it progresses. Really hope they'll get Volkor X on there soon! Or are they just planning to only have the artists on the NRW label? I first got into synthwave a few years ago by discovering Perturbator. From there, discovered other artists like Kavinsky, Megadrive, Power Glove, VHS Glitch, Volkor X and Carpenter Brut, among others. NRW was a great way to discover new artists (still is sometimes).
