The monster sounds like Jinmen, one of Devilman's enemies. There are multiple adaptations of Devilman, and I think it is one version from Devilman.

I finished watching all of House of the Dragon season 2, now I'm waiting on season 3 in the Summer. I also finished A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, we stayed up finishing it until 5 AM LOL luckily it's not all the way out yet though and there will be another ep next week but I think the characters are so much more wholesome and loveable than in GOT. Not sure if that will change but Dunk and Egg are amazing lol

Ghibli anime makes some of the best stories with some of the best animation.

I prefer shorter series to long ones.

There are a lot of anime that deserve more attention.
