MAL has season 1 at 7.24, season 2 at 7.36 (ongoing). Not at the top of my rankings but enjoyable enough I plan to stick with it. Not sure if season 2 will conclude the story or not though.

Thanks mate. I will watch it now

BTW,..just finished the first 6 eps of Level 1 dakedo Unique Skill de Saikyou desu

Perhaps you need to rethink. But i am the first to admit that i will allow a lot of childish if it is an isekai. But still,..first 2 eps were slow. But pace is okay, graphics are on point. I always love the overpowered mc. The fact they gain more abilities soon is a plus. I would rank it 6.8/10

Just to confirm that we’re talking about Malevolent Spirits: Mononogatari, that’s  my first pick. Combination of supernatural action but also some romance.

2nd would be Inuyasha. Currently I’ve only seen the first 54 episodes & the first movie, but do plan on watching more eventually. Just bear in mind it’s an older series & a fairly long one.

    As for the rest

Helck - there are indications that it will eventually become more serious, but right now a lot of the focus is on comedy, most of which isn’t landing for me. Currently watching, but not sure if I’ll stick with it.

Seija Musou: Salaryman, Isekai de Ikinokoru Tame ni Ayumu Michi - haven’t watched, not really planning too.

Level 1 dakedo Unique Skill de Saikyou desu - watched some early eps but dropped. Pretty weak  isekai IMO.

As always a great reply. Thank you.

Yes,..i mend this one, seems good but has low imdb score

now at ep 2 of Level 1 dakedo. But i have a  feeling you will be right.

Not really hanging out on AF much anymore & never did use PMs much anyway. Generally if it’s something too private to talk about in the public areas of the forum, it’s not a conversation I’m interested in having.

I understand. I dont use pm to discuss private matters but to reach a person faster

I previously touched on this in my “What are you currently watching” post on 08/04/2023. Basically the first 5 episodes of season 2 are an extended flashback explaining why Getou went from being Satoru Gojo (blindfold guy) classmate & best friend to the main villain in the movie. Yuuji, Nobara & Megumi make a cameo appearance at the end of S2 Ep 5, so they should return in S2 Ep 6, though that doesn’t air till 08/31.

    So the timeline is:

    JJK S2 Eps 1 - 5

    JJK 0 (movie)

    JJK S 1

    JJK 2 Eps 6 -

Thanks mate. Btw, why did you close your pm?

  5. Watching I've Been Killing Slimes for 300

But I cannot stand bad graphics anymore. Haha what happened to the kid that i was, watching 80s and 90s cartoons?

    Will try to continue

91 Days was great, can't believe I slept on that show so long.

    Whats the genre?

The second half of season 1 introduces some shonen elements that point to a bigger picture, but the sense of humor & cartoonish elements remain central throughout the 3 seasons currently adapted. While I can see this turning off a lot of viewers, I personally find it refreshing & enjoy the series a lot as being unique. Unfortunately there’s no word on a season 4 even though season 3 ended several months ago.

    Love it now, starting so301

You know I rarely read the description for anime. I mostly go by openings I see. Or if it's considered similar to something I already like.

Hi could you explain, what do you mean by 'openings' ?? kind of anime trailers?

I find MAL to be a useful resource about an anime that I've heard about and am interested in finding out if it would be one I'd like.  The reviews are often informative, but like all reviews you have to read between the lines a bit to try and decide if the series under review is of a genre that the reviewer either likes or dislikes.  I also find that some of the synopsis they give can be misleading or even a bit inaccurate.

i am not talking about reviews but descriptions :)

  8. Myanimelist.net is a great source for animes. You can create your own list, look in other peoples list and select by type etc.

    I think it is great.

BUT damn the descriptions are horrible. I have a feeling they are focus to much on making the description sound literary and sophisticated. I just want clarity on what the anime is like without all the superlatives and scenery. For instance (i am writing this myself now and exaggerating a bit)

    Naruto shippuden:

    My description would be:

"..A teenager lives in a world full of ninjas. There are several countries with their own ninja ninjutus and characters. Besides fighting each other, they have common enemies. It is a story about a boy getting stronger and stronger. From a zero to hero in a world full of action an almost magic powers..."

But Myanimelist would make something like:

"..The dawn has set on konoha in a connected world where nothing is what it seems. A boy must find its own soul and strength and connect the people around him. Blooming into a grown man in a dreamlike world where very imaginary powers lie just a grap beneath the surface. His own path is sometimes not very clear to him , but is to others where succes may linger.."

Ah for fuck sake, just tell me what it is about

You never said anything about science fiction mate :)

You said "science". Well i only seen 1 season but they talk about science. But that is the only science anime i know. I liked ' parallel world pharmacy' . Have you seen that one?,...it feels a bit sciency now and than. Sorry man, no other tips from me.
