Currently watching Garo: Guren no Tsuki. i like it but compared to the other two season's of this show it's not as good. I feel like the story is a bit rushed and I feel like it needs some more back story to understand what is currently happening.
-
Hey @Frith, the story line sounded promising but they got actors to do the voices like Jaden Smith for the man character and then the dialog sounds forced with a lot of cussing that seems unnecessary.
-
I love winter though my favorite season is spring.
What are your top 5 favorite anime?
-
The only Netflix anime that was an absolute disaster so far in my opinion is Neo Yokio. After barely 10 min i couldn't stand to watch it. Just awful dialog and voice acting. Seven Deadly Sins , Kuromurko, Magi series, Cyborg 009, and what i started of Ajin they were all pretty good.
-
I seriously got into anime through my ex-husband. One of only a few things that were positive out of the marriage.
-
Another, well I've watched 2 eps and then started watching something else so haven't fully invested time into yet. so I guess I'll give it 6/10.
Garo : Vanishing Line

Hey @Typhenstein I random pick sometimes too. I will say don't watch Neo Tokyo on netflix that anime is pure crap. Souleater is a great one. They made Souleater Not. it's not as good I kinda stalled on it so haven't watched the whole thing yet. If you need any suggestion don't hesitate to ask someone is always willing to give recommendations.

Currently started something new so I was going through my Crunchyroll queue and wound up on Jormungand. It's very interesting. Weapons running and a band of skilled misfits and one kid soldier seems complex only in 2 episodes but I want to see where it goes.
-
My choices go to Say I love you, My love story, Paradise Kiss , and Orange (though it's pretty emotional).
-
Okay so I saw some good ones but if you are old enough I suggest Paradise Kiss it's older but it's pretty good in my opinion
-
So on crunchyroll and totally stumbled upon a really cool anime seems like it has a lot of different series' It's called Garo: Vanshing Line. It's got bad-ass character named Sword who drives a totally tricked out motorcycle who helps him battle demon like creatures.
-
@SoullessMarshmallow I get what your saying she's just kinda blah sometimes. Though there has been a few times that I've seen her face brighten up i think her and Ellias will take their time developing more emotions as time goes by. I think Chise feeling normal in her skin knowing who she is and getting to know magic more will develop her character more.
-
@CheesyTrees If your referring to plot like ending I don't know either but as I see the plot now is mostly about Chise and the relationship with Ellias and their life together. Her finally understanding her gifts and that she's not crazy and Ellias feeling and understanding humanity and then their relationship growing together. Well that is my opinion anyway. To me finding out what's next keeps me coming back for more.

I use crunchyroll for free @SleepyLeoulf, I can't pay for a subscription either. lol Your welcome can't wait to see what you think about it.
-
@SleepyLeoulf where do you normally watch. It's currently airing on crunchyroll but i also us www.nwanime.tv (though this has a lot of extra pop ups you have to close).

@Hamsloth I totally agree like I much rather be in an anime world weather it be sports anime, being a ninja, or having a magical power seems way cooler than this boring world.
-
I think the mere fact that anime can affect weather negative or positive is a clear indication that the show can tap into real life emotions and make you feel something. I think any show weather anime or not is one of their objectives. I think the article was one-sided opinion though. I mean I have gotten mad at characters or scenes before but I mostly find that anime has positive messages like the underdog not giving up and continue fighting, or i find myself really responding to sports anime. Those really get me on the edge of my seat and make me root for the teams like I was watching real sports. I think we take what we want when we watch. It's always up to the viewer what is focused upon and what is taken away by watching it.
