Hiiii again! I've finally got some photoshoots happening with my anime bjds, so I thought I'd share them here. I'm gonna start with my newest doll but will probably add some more as I take them. There's a few on my profile too as status updates. The final photo at the bottom is my setup for today's shoot I go a little nuts with the sparkles, lol 

Did a few more! The first is a commission (in a random wig) and the second is for a doll I'm going to keep.

I painted these bjd heads recently! The eyes are also made by me with resin. 

My main hobby outside of writing has been doing BJD (ball jointed doll) customization. Mine are anime-styled, so the eyes I make out of resin are also more along the lines of an anime look. I design the irises in ibispaint, drawing em myself, and then print them and encase them in resin. It's a fun process! I will share some dolls I create once my supplies arrive. 

Hello! I know it’s been a long time since I’ve posted, but I wanted to share the stuff I’ve been doing in my absence. After some grief and anxiety, I spent a lot of this past semester working on an original universe. It’s become a labor of love and the characters are all my precious babies, lol. I’m going to share some short stories involving OCs from a larger plot (one I’m not quite confident enough to publicize yet) and I’ll try to list them in as chronological an order as possible. I’m going into this fully expecting not many people to read them, but even if you could take a glance over one or two, I’d appreciate it! Also, I don't know why everything I wrote is bolded here, this happened last time and I couldn't fix it ;o;

1. Winter Tales at the Tavern - Stern elven Colonel Vaeril Alvensheim falls victim to his poor ability to handle alcohol. This results in humorous and warm moments shared under the winter moon. In the company of his friend, a whimsical shopkeeper called Lianthorn, Vaeril laments the peculiar circumstances of his home life and potential romantic interest, Nimiel. 

2. Ceramic Hearts - After accidentally breaking a beloved trinket of Nimiel’s, Vaeril–ever the tsundere–brings her to Lianthorn’s shop to find a replacement while grumbling all the while about this and that without much direction. Short, sweet and sappy.

3. Haemir- A dive into our beloved Colonel’s backstory paired with that same cozy tavern as before. A bit heavier in terms of angst, but has a happy ending. TW for death.

4. A Toast to Tomorrow- This one dives into Lianthorn’s backstory, which is equally as tragic and I think quite Frieren-esque (though I myself have never seen that anime and just know it from instagram posts, lol). Opens up the overall narrative’s shift towards Lianthorn and his journey to finding love. Another TW will be issued for mentioned death.

5. A Fated Meeting - Dahlia pt. 1- I have two favorites, and this is part 1. Dahlia, a human woman lost in grief and seeking some kind of spell to resurrect her late father, ventures into elven territory to find a certain cursed staff. She’s willing to sacrifice anything for a chance to see him again–even her own safety. Lianthorn arrives in the nick of time to save her, and what follows is something I can only describe as soul-cleansing (at least to me as a writer, heheh). It was SO comforting and healing to write this one, I just love the amount of sappiness and fluff and I can’t get enough of these two!

6. Winter Woes and Wonders - Dahlia pt. 2- Part 2 of the super-duper-fluffy-wuffy wholesome fest that is Lianthorn and Dahlia’s budding relationship. If you choose to read any of these, I’d like it to be these two. Adult themes are briefly glanced over, but the scene is written as a fade to black, so there’s no inappropriate content. I am currently working on part three.

Also, a little FYI– I’ve been using stable diffusion to illustrate these stories. Please, try not to crucify me for the AI thing; I know it can be shady if used wrong, but I’m only using it for this purpose, not to sell or pass off as my own drawings. I don’t need a lecture. This has helped my mental health immensely and I’m not interested in being attacked for it. I’m also not looking for advice or constructive criticism. Sorry to be that person, but I’m happy with my stuff the way it is, y’know? Unwanted criticism just hurts, lol. 

Anyway! That’s about it. I’ll try to be more active here if I can. Since finals season is over, I have more time. I’ve been kinda down so having some more friends to share stuff with would be really nice! I know I probably sound like an oversensitive crybaby, but I promise I'm not mean. One isn't more talented than the other, we just have different styles. though I do thank you for your praise >w< gonna just pop this in here too, I did a chibi of those two cause they're fun to draw hehehe

Thanks, heh. It was mostly done by an artist, I didn't really do much other than supply the clothes and stuff. There's a...how do I put it, genre? of anime styled dolls called Obitsu11 which are basically like nendoroid heads on jointed bodies. That's what this is trying to emulate!

That's cool! I have a couple vocaloid figures myself. And yeah, he's definitely not happy about the outfits lmao >u<

This isn't the first time I've had dolls of anime characters (I have others of my OCs, some of those are on my profile and I may make a blog out of the photoshoots I do at some point) but it is my first canon character. I commissioned a nendoroid style head and used an Obitsu11 body, which I then very horribly put his tattoos on lol. I can't get over how heckin cute he is  ‧º·(˚ ˃̣̣̥⌓˂̣̣̥ )‧º·˚ the panda slippers!! It's too much x_x

Hellooo~ I did a bunch of cell-shaded chibi drawings of these two in the past couple of days and decided to wait to post them until I had enough for a collection! I will probably add to this thread the more art I do, these simple pieces are just so fun (＝⌒▽⌒＝) I'll start with my fav, which also happens to be my most recent. As a general rule, I'm not lookin for criticism, so please avoid that if possible. Thankie~

1. Dancing ⌒°ʚ(ෆ❛ั ᴗ ❛ัʃƪ)ɞ♡°⌒ Here I revisited an older outfit of Camelia's that you can find in my female oc collection post!

2. Bubblebath (❁´◡`❁) I made the outline too thick on this one, but going back and fixing it would be a pain lol 

3. Afternoon nap~ This was actually the first one I did and I attempted a chubbier chibi style for it!

4. Watching Fireworks ˙˚ଘo(∗  ❛ั ᵕ ❛ั )੭່˙ This one features Camelia's "canon" outfit!

There will undoubtedly be more of these, so I'll probably just tack them on this post if I figure out how. Please consider following the topic to see more in the future!

Nice collection  Particularly impressed with the Macross figures. Wasn’t surprised to see Sailor Mercury & Sakura, but was to see representation from Angelic Layer.

I don’t have much in anime merch myself outside of t shirts & hoodies. Mainly lithos, pins, patches, etc that were included with dvd purchases. And these Galaxy Angel Figurines included with a dvd boxset

I'm always appreciative of having my fangirl habits praised uwu thankie. Some are from different games and anime, and a lot of the pins I made myself! (ෆ˙ᵕ˙ෆ)♡

Of  the other versions of Kaede, I think I actually prefer the older version of #3, though I like the newer version of #2. Not intended as criticism as I have no professional understanding or talent for art, just my personal feelings.

Hi hi! I'm here again, this is more of an art dump than anything, I didn't want to like spam the forum by posting these individually so I decided to showcase them in a single thread instead. Please bear with me, this is going to be long lol. Also, I have no clue why I was forced to put this in bold! : D it just refuses to let me un-bold it, so...yeah. I'll do a lil guide for the pieces below by numbering them! 

But first! I'll introduce you to the characters. Both are OCs of mine based on some anime media or other, the first being an actual show (Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE!) and the second a semi-popular otome game (Piofiore: Fated Memories/Episodio 1926). The former is a satire on the mahou shoujo genre and the latter is a moody mafia-drama set in the depths of 1920s Italy. Both are my main fandoms right now!٩(◕‿◕｡)۶

The brunette in the first couple of photos is Shizumoto Kaede, whom I did make a post about before, an 18 year old highschool student who poses as a boy to attend an all-male school. She does this as a means to escape a troubled home life; specifically an arranged marriage set up by her family. She’s a bit of a nerd, focusing mostly on studies as she tries her best to stay under the radar. I have several AUs for her (ranging from reluctantly heroic to being downright peer-pressured into being an idol) and ship her with, like…the entire cast of antagonists lol, she’s got a bit of a reverse harem o(≧∇≦o) Her defining trait is her clumsiness, which more often than not is outrageous enough to put her under the scrutiny of her academic peers.

OC #2 is Camelia, a 21 year old subordinate of the Lao-Shu, which is a mafia family based in China that currently occupies the southern portion of a small town in Italy. Camelia is…kind of the opposite of what you'd expect from a mafioso. She's soft-spoken, innocent, painfully shy and harbors an incredibly embarrassing crush on the family head, Yang (peep the featured husbando on my profile uwu). She's another character who has a variety of AUs depending on the scenario. More often than not, she takes the role of Key Maiden–a sacrificial bride of sorts whose existence is the key to unearthing a sacred relic hidden in the outskirts of town. I stole this from the MC of the game, lmao. The town of Burlone is actually occupied by 3 of these mafia groups, and they aren't exactly on the best of terms with one another, which makes for some interesting dynamics.

Both of these characters were used in my roleplaying endeavors for a good while. I'm absolutely down to try again if anyone is interested…however I'm really only looking to play against canon characters, and I know that's a tall order lol. But even if rp is off the table, I'd love to chat with you! Please don't be afraid to message!

With all of this out of the way, I'll get to the art now (•̀⌄•́) 

1. My latest work, another cell-shaded chibi piece featuring Kaede and her beloved bullies, twins Akihiko and Haruhiko who also happen to be insufferable and bratty idols.

2. More Idol Kaede, her outfit is based on the twins'. This is a comparison photo between the original 2021 drawing and the current 2023 one! Because Haru and Aki’s gimmicks are the sun and moon respectively, I pictured Kaede's motif being a star  (/ω＼) 

3. Kaede's reference sheet comparison between the 2021 and 2023 versions. New one is knee-up because I still suck at drawing shoes lmao 

4. Battle Lover Kaede! Another comparison. This is her hero uniform (•̀⌄•́) Wom-san wants her to be a hero. Kaede does not want to be a hero. They are at an impasse. Can you imagine tripping and falling on your face mid-magical-girl-move? That's Kaede. 

5. Camelia all dolled up~! She often dons some fancy outfits when gathering intel for Yang uwu 

6. A dakimakura (body pillow) design of Camelia. This was a self indulgent piece, lol 

7. A celebratory drawing I did for Yang's birthday (12/12) (≧ω≦)

8. A fake game screenshot~ the background is from Piofiore. I'm not the best at blending stuff together, but I think it came out alright 

9. Some Christmas art of Camelia, I actually did this on Chirstmas eve （*＾ワ＾*） 

10. (Bonus) A fully shaded self portrait chibi, complete with a Yang plushie and an actual outfit of mine~ (yes I forgot to color his shoes and they turned pink bc of the background, rip) 

11. (Bonus bonus) A silly quick doodle of myself with my emotional support mob boss uwu

I think I know how to add to this post, and if I can’t figure it out I’ll just do another post, so you’ll probably see more in the future in some capacity.  Please, if you’ve made it this far, tell me your favorite! Be it a piece of art or an OC in general, I’d love to hear it. Also, as a general rule, I’m not looking for criticism–these pieces are finished and can’t be edited, so it’s kinda pointless to give tips that I don’t ask for.
