  1. Released today and so far liking it as much as the manga.
  2. Dropping a few to start off but it's now 1am so I'm going to sleep
  3. Mid 40s to Low 50s all day and as usual this time of year overcast and with a misty rain. Leaves starting to fall off and the colors should be getting good here by end of the month. Need a good spurt of cold weather to make them turn faster.
  4. Welcome! Enjoy your stay! Was trying to think what was the first show I watched that the character had blue hair. Man that was rarer in the 80s into 90s anime. Think it had to be Dirty Pair as more characters had green hair back then from what I remember.

    Junji Ito

The Enigma of Amigara Fault was a good read love that kind of horror. Claustrophobia to the extreme.
  6. It doesn't happen often but I like when small theaters pick up anime movies to show. Doesn't happen enough as Clayton said but it's always a good time. Like going early and chatting with people about different shows before the movie which is nice. One of the theaters near me that shows anime once in awhile has a attached restaurant so makes a great night out.
  7. Blu-ray Disc™ media have region codes written in letters to indicate a particular zone or region where you can play the discs. Check the following region codes below : Region A: North America, South America, U.S. Territories, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and other areas of Southeast Asia Region B: Europe, Africa, Middle East, Australia, and New Zealand. Region C : Asia (except for Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and other areas of Southeast Asia) Region ABC : Classified as region-free as it applies to countries listed in Regions A, B, and C. The region code for Blu-ray Discs is on the disc or located at the back of the disc case. (here is the label from my latest purchase) Some region-free discs may have no codes written on the disc or disc cover. Ultra HD Blu-ray Discs are region-free and can play on devices that supports Ultra HD Blu-ray, regardless of the region where they were purchased. The Blu-ray Disc device or Blu-ray optical drive can play Blu-ray Discs purchased in the same region. This means that a computer or a Blu-ray Disc player purchased in countries listed in Region A can only play Blu-ray Disc that are recorded in Region A, in exception to Region-Free discs and players. This applies to computers or Blu-ray Disc players purchased in other regions, unless otherwise specified in the player or in the computer's documentation. Check your device manual.
  8. You would have to look at the light novel sales and sales of Blueray disks in japan during season 4. The anime is usually made to sell the novels or manga. From some google searching it was popular when the show was airing. I can't read Japanese to get hard numbers on surveys and such but you usually can get a vibe on what the Japanese market thinks. There usually no hard way to tell if a new season is coming other than expecting it to maybe be announced or show up around the time the other seasons were broadcast. You can usually get a faster heads up if a new season is coming if you read Japanese. If it is coming I would expect an announcement during or after the winter season into spring.
  9. Yep good stuff plus Coldrain on the soundtrack. Very nice
  10. Completely off social media since 2010ish. Only thing I use is discord for communication or my phone for texting and talking to people. Didn't mind when the platforms were more a tool for news and other tasks but now it's just noise and drama bating. I'm older though so social media used to be a different thing when I was going through High School. Really the only thing closest to social media at the time was IRC chat and ICQ, AOL, and MSN. Heck even myspace just had come out as I was leaving HS. So kind of missed the boom of it while going to college and was more interested in face to face conversations instead of posting out into the void. Facebook and myspace used to be a good tool for setup of events and the platforms went away from that mostly.
  11. Ah it didn't show up until now. As for DanMachi season 5 I would lean towards summer of next year. Looks like most season were out in July or October with October being a part 2 of a season. That is usually how I look at it if the show is very popular and the studio doesn't have any big shows planned for that time announced.
  12. Anime News Network since they have some contacts internally. Usually though the Japanese corps are very private when it comes to this stuff. Most of the times people are guessing depending on popularity votes when the shows are airing in Japan.
  13. Mon 2 | Night 73°F N 1 mph 4% Partly cloudy. Low near 57F. Winds light and variable. Tomorrow's temperature is forecast to be NEARLY THE SAME as today.
  14. Anyone familiar with 90s spooky documentaries should remember RODS! So much so they even showed up in JOJOs. Completely debunked but it was fun to watch at the time thats for sure.
  15. Yeah 3 eps is good to get a vibe of the show I usually would wait to the halfway point of the season as the creators should have story lines established at that point. I've seen it described as "Better Call Sal" show of The Boys to just meh. But more positive vibes overall.
  16. Welcome. This community has been really chill since I've joined always good to see new faces.
  17. Been hearing positive things about it but it just came out so too early to tell at this point.
  18. Whats your favorite ongoing or finish Manwha/webtoon? Myself I've been following The Breaker Series for awhile and waiting to start the latest season 3 of the comic. Waiting for it to get a bit along as I like to binge this series as it seems to flow better. Got hooked on the fight scenes and the art really has some weight behind it when it matters. Other two I've been following awhile is Storm Inn and Nano Machine.
  19. Ragna Crimson Remember reading the manga awhile back and looks like it just got a anime series. Episode 1 so far is holding up to expectations.
  20. The purchase of large skeletons from home depot and lowes has commenced. They are starting to sprout around me. The horror of seeing multiple extra large skellies with nowhere noticeable to store them for the next season. Impulse buys to decorate your lawn. Some are riding a rusted out dodge truck, others looming over the flowerbed staring at the mail carrier. Who knows where these constructs of human ostentation will end up in the end but for now they loom over us.
  21. Tue 19 | Night 50° SE 2 mph 4% Partly cloudy. Low near 50F. Winds light and variable.
