  1. Lately it feels like it's just impossible for me to fit in anywhere. Feeling lonely, but also being scared to be around anyone else, and pushing people away against my own will even when they try to befriend me... It's depressing. And it's kind of pathetic that I'm venting about it here to a bunch of strangers, hahaha...
  2. Just watched the first episode of Gamers! I really hope the rest of this show doesn't focus too much on romance/drama and instead explores the concept of different types of gamers (kind of like how Genshiken was for anime otaku). EDIT: Actually, I take it back. Aguri and Tasuku's back story from middle school was too cute >w<
  3. Thanks for the encouragement! You seem like a very kind person~ Let's both do our best!
  4. My favorite book is Hard-Boiled Wonderland & the End of the World by Haruki Murakami! I like most of his books but this one in particular is my favorite because it combines his dreamlike style of magic realism with a science fiction twist. Each chapter alternates between taking place in the real world and a strange town called the "The End of the World" inside of the narrator's head. I really like this author. One of my favorite anime is inspired by his books too, Haibane Renmei, which also has that dreamy feel.
  5. I have a social anxiety disorder, so it's difficult for me to get close to people IRL. But like many others have said already, it's nice to be able to find people with common interests on the internet, at least.
  6. Episode 18 in Clannad: After Story where Tomoya reconnects with his daughter absolutely destroyed me. Sad/heartwarming moments like that hit me so hard... On a less positive note, one of the anime episodes that impacted me the most was episode 8 of Paranoia Agent, the one where three people who met on the internet decide to commit suicide together. I won't spoil what happens in that episode, but it gave me chills and i still think about it many years later.
  7. Same!!! I was so curious about the aunt. And the ending made me happy cry ;-;
  8. What is your favorite heartwarming anime? The kind of anime that feels like it's wrapping you in a big gentle hug~ My pick would be Hotarubi no Mori e, which is a movie by the creator of Natsume Yuujinchou.
  9. Currently playing VA-11 Hall-A and 2064: Read Only Memories. I guess I'm specifically in the mood to play cyberpunk themed dialogue heavy games with charming pixel art~
  10. Koufuku Graffiti always makes me hungry for a home-cooked meal ^.^
  11. I have that kind of feeling from time to time as well. It's not fun when a hobby starts to feel like a chore. I'd say don't fight it and let yourself rest until something sparks your interest again, or just watch something that doesn't require a lot of intellectual/emotional investment, like a slice of life or comedy.
  12. Feeling kinda nervous because this is my first post... Otherwise, didn't sleep a wink last night, so I'm wired but tired!
