Woke up to about a foot of snow that fell overnight. Think it’s the most we’ve had in at least 6 years. Fortunately it’s not that cold (mid-20s)

Been trying out dating apps lately, no luck. Maybe I should stop using them.

Remember me? I'm returning about a long time. Lot's of stuff has happened. I returned from my training and I've been deployed with my unit to do riot control already. I also finally got back to college as well. All my classes are boring and have nothing to do with my major but hey it's whatever. Also I got that mopped I wanted. How has everyone been?

Boku no Tsuma wa Kanjou ga Nai is a manga about a man who falls in love with his household working robot. READ IT NOW. I LOVE IT. I literally started reading it last night and I’ve read all of it that’s translated on the manga site I use. It’s a little cringy sometimes... but I’m literally in love with it.

Am I the only one who knows politicians by name by not what they actually look like?

Henceforth I will be abbreviating Suppose a Kid from the Last Dungeon Boonies Moved to a Starter Town? (Tatoeba Last Dungeon Mae no Mura no Shounen ga Joban no Machi de Kurasu Youna Monogatari) as OP Bumpkin

My fiance's grandma gave me one of her most prized possessions for Christmas; one of her Porcelain dolls.
It's cute and I put it in the livingroom. The only issue is it is now almost 3AM and I'm a bit nervous around it. Afraid it's watching me or something. Think I watch too many freaking movies.

Anyone else have those nights where wine and reading just sound good together?

Cleaning up some of the leftover debris from last week's plumbing repairs and chopped out a ~3 foot section of pipe around the leaking section just to see how bad looked. I could barely see down the length of the pipe due to all the mineral/rust build up! Surprised that a) there was any flow at all through the ~25 foot stretch that I wound up replacing and b) it hadn't started leaking before this. Well, at least I shouldn't have to worry about this particular stretch for another couple decades.

Too much to do but still dedicating a few cycles to monitoring this morning's SpaceX hop in the background ...

I want a PS5 but the scalper’s bots take all of them right away which is awful. Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War is on list of games I want to play along with Modern Warfare which i didn’t play yet either. I’m glad campaigns are back in COD.

Life is boring.

Just realized how much my orthography suffers from writing on the keyboard all the time. Wanted to write "dictionary" by hand and I wrote "dictunary", looked at it, realized it was wrong but couldn't write it correctly for the sake of it. I *had to* type it with a keyboard and look at the keys I pressed until I was sure how to write the word. (and I got it right the first time I typed it with my keyboard)
And I don't even use any kind of auto-correct. I just never write in English by hand...
Also, I become really inpatient when writing by hand, because it's so slow...

I dooded the deed. Kind of pointless since I know either Biden or Trump will win but if I don't vote then I can't complain, right? Pitiful selection this time, as usual. I almost wrote-in the name of the guy with a boot on his head but since he didn't get the nomination I instead went for the guy whose running mate was initially the running mate of the guy with the boot on his head. I'd have voted Green again but I wrote to them last time about their stupid anti-nuclear stance and got back a nonsense reply so I went back to the other guys for this cycle.
All I can say is I hope SpaceX's Starship testing goes well. I need a few AU of hard vacuum and lethal radiation between me and D.C. ASAP.
