  1. I did so much online paperwork..... then I took an english exam to bypass the class which is a requirement for phlebotomy. somewhere along the way i watched rezero and made lunch (instant ramen, with cooked beech mushroom, and an egg for the third lunch in a row). It was my first time going to the community college I'll be attending in the future, very foresty campus.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            my cat just stood very intimadtingly in front of my keyboard. his tail pressed space. every time i tried touching him he would raise his paw.... guys im scared. it was bc i was messing with him, and i also think hes hungry. but sometimes when i touch him too much he just slaps me with his paw, no claws necessary. with some force too!

  2. I'm watching season 2 of re-zero. It's really entertaining how serious the characters are, like every episode at least one character will start a rant and immediately start crying and yelling at the sky. Or the opposite, they're just dying loudly, especially subaru who screams sm when he dies.... it makes me flinch and turn down the volume a little. Like geez ik ur dying, but could u lower the loudness pls? I'm joking, its such a dramatic show sometimes i think im watching a kdrama except its in a fantasy anime setting.

  3. I woke up at like 5am, and my cat shamus's face was smooshed into mine right on the side. Very heartwarming, what was not heartwarming was the next hour n a half trying to get back to bed and him tossing and turning with me.

I had a lot of motivation, so I headed to the skatepark to fart around a little. Practiced wall rides, ollies, and completely bodied the pavement (my hip still hurts). Then went to the library to study jp to lock in. Then I read a book about mushrooms, it was interesting.

After that I watched re-zero and cooked mushrooms with my instant ramen lol for lunch. Then I pruned the hydrenga or whatever u call that flower bush, so the new leaves can get enough sunlight for the spring!

Kinda all over the place, now I'm gonna go to the gym and blast beat mania music in my car which has to be the best part about being able to drive. But ya pretty chill monday

Other than listening to music, I'm also fond of reading novels. I'm really fond of The Apothecary Diaries, though it's been a little over a year since I last touched the series as half way through the ninth volume I found myself drowning in homework for my political science class I had been taking at the time and didn't have it in me to keep up with as mentally taxing a hobby as reading novels.

Hiii!!! Welcome, I'm froggy nice to meet cha. I watched all of apothecary diary with my family! it was a rlly interesting anime. I started getting into the manga, but then I learned there are two manga adaptations of the light novel! I didn't know which one to read lolz. But then I got caught up in reading all the other manga I bought, oh well. The light novel does seem very interesting tho! A light novel I absolutely love is Durarara!!! its soooo gooodddd. I love that series.

  5. im feeling chill now, i was angry earlier bc my enstars app wasn't loading.... it was so annoying. so i just took a nap, and by nap i mean laying in bed listening to music. now im gonna try practicing listening to japanese. Its just a textbook with a cd that I have to listen to. I feel like my japanese is improving which is good.

  6. Something that I noticed was how people talk about anime. When I was in middle school, it was not good to talk about anime. It was a little creepy... My whole family watched it tho, and I got jokingly called a weeabo by them. But it was never something I would bring up at school.

I have a distinct memory in 6th grade. I wore a hidden leaf pin on my backpack, and no one thought twice about it. Only one boy recognized it, and it was a shock!

Nowadays, when I bring up anime, people are much more inclined to say that they watch anime then not! I've had two interactions with coworkers that can help explain this. First is a highschooler, I brought up that I like it in convo, then she says "oh ya! I love anime! I watched MHA in covid"   How can you say u love that anime when it was completed after 2020.... or my 27 yr old coworker who keeps trying to flirt with me... very badly. He said something along the lines of, "I watched invincible..." INVINCIBLE ISN'T EVEN ANIME!

It more sociable-ly correct to lie and say u like anime? That 27 yr old coworker eventually just gave up and said he doesn't like anime, after I said that its ok to not prefer watching it.... Its very strange how much watching anime has changed in terms of pop culture and social media. Ever since 2020, I've noticed a community of anime watchers that look down on overt anime nerds, like anime t-shirt wearing, dakimura plush, or even fat people. And in the comments its all about how much of a chud there are, or gem alert... Like now there's a hierarchy to enjoy anime, that somehow being a subtle fan is better than loving loud and proud. Or that a community that loves extrovert-ly, is autistic and unsociable.

All in all, what I'm really trying to get across is that sometimes as someone who didn't have much friends, and now does. I feel a little bit like an animal in a zoo for it. Like I'm not weird in a quirky cutesy girly way. I'm just a weird anime lover, I think thats better than trying to act cool? Liking anime isn't about being cool anyways.

  7. Right now I'm reading blood lad! Catching up on chainsaw man, the summer hikaru died, and dandadan. I think i'm only a few chapters behind on dandadan. If you guys didn't know, shounen jump as an app! It costs 3.99 a month and u get access to their whole library! Its great for reading manga and supporting the artists without having to spend so much on collecting the physical volumes.

  8. *I stuff the rest of the cool ranch doritos into my face and hide the empty bag behind a wall of toilet paper* "Well I'm just gonna squeeze right outta here..." I say to myself as I slink alongside the walls towards the closest exit..... "I'm a bug, just a fly on the wall..."

It's cold here as well, but I don't think it's quite as cold as where you are and I don't have to de-frost my car before I can use it. We are having a lot of wet days and the rain makes ti seem even colder than it is.

we had like two weeks where it was just non-stop raining, now its just freezing

  10. I have a lot of favorites, my favorite bookmark would probably be izaya x shizou. I read a lot of shizaya fanfics. And there is definitely no shortage of them!

I love wotakoi too! Did you know that it was published bc the author won a manga contest on pixiv? the manga is rlly entertaining and worth reading as well. You get to know the characters more, and all of the side couples as well.
