i finished that series a couple years ago. Its bc of the floating head guy I swear. Thats god in the manga, always bringing misfortune to punpun. I mean punpun stays in that city waiting to bump into harumi again. So no surprise it happens.

I got my dad to watch apothecary diaries with me! he stopped watching anime years ago, but when I introduced him to it, he finished the first season in two days! He liked so much he got a crunchyroll sub to watch the second season, so thats a win for me:)

I'm also watching this anime called petite cossette? Its a dvd I found in a cd store, it even came with a cool poster. I really like the gothic abstract vibes.

I've been reading blood on the tracks recently. Its a creepy pyschological horror about a mother and son. Below is severe spoliers! But it really captures the silent horror in the mother's expression. The artist doesn't use screentone very often, but uses cross-hatching to create form. It's not dramatic lines, but rather soft lines as if the story is playing out in our memory. Great read definitely recommend it if you're into chilling expressions. 

I saw edits on instagram of the manga (The Guy she was Interested in Wasn't a Guy at all). So when I went to japan in 2023, I picked up the japanese manga! At the time the english version wasn't released so I had to try and translate with my mediocre Japanese skills.

I recently added some more stuff to it and the last pic is the newest stands I have which are actually on my desk and were a gift from my sis. There isn't a ton of stuff but it's slowly been expanding.

My AP art comic, Silent Centipede. Reads left to right, top to bottom. Its under this cover art I made. It took an entire school year from sep 2024 to june 2025. All done traditionally with manga pen, brush pen, and screentone:)

Crescent Moon 

I stopped by the library to study Japanese, and I saw this cool dvd called MFKZ. It's an American cartoon but the studio is GKIDS. It was a great movie. About this little black guy, with his skeleton head friend. He's just trying to survive the shit in cali then the government starts hunting him down. I loved it.

My dad loves this one kdrama called Alchemy of the Soul. He's probably watched it three times over, so I started watching it with my sister. It's pretty funny!

I've always wanted to cosplay naruto, or killua. Either one of those shounen boys. Once my skateboard breaks, I'll set up one that looks like Killua's. Then just ride around in cosplay would be so cool.

I played Hot Pixel on my psp 1000 today. My friend and I got korean fried chicken and snacks from H-mart, got boba, then drove to a park. We ate lunch, then drew some anime, and I showed her how to play the game. It was pretty fun, I perfected an episode too!
